Hera took the box in her hands, running her fingers over its soft, velvety surface. The luxurious texture brought a smile to her lips.

With a sense of anticipation, she opened the small box, revealing a jade cufflink nestled inside. Its smooth surface glead coldly yet softly under the light, almost translucent in appearance.

The craftsmanship was impeccable, a testant to the skill and effort Liz and her team had put into refining the jade she had acquired through stone betting, elevating its value to new heights.

"Anyway, since you had so much jade left, I took the liberty of turning them into other accessories so you could have matching pieces with the n’s accessories," Liz said with a knowing smirk. She then opened the last compartnt of the large box, revealing its contents.

The box had four compartnts—the first three held cufflinks and tie pins in the seven different designs Hera had provided earlier.

The fourth compartnt, however, contained a surprise. Liz had crafted a set of female accessories inspired by Hera’s male designs, making subtle adjustnts to add a more feminine touch, turning them into elegant couple’s pieces.

Of course, she had made sure that the set ant for Hera’s grandfather remained unchanged, and made sure she didn’t make a feminine version to pair with it.

Seeing Liz’s initiative and effort to ensure the jade didn’t go to waste filled Hera with happiness, a bright smile spreading across her face.

Hera nodded repeatedly while Athena gasped in astonishnt, her eyes widening as she examined the accessories one by one. She was stunned by the significant improvent in Hera’s design skills since the last ti she had seen her work.

The craftsmanship was so impressive that she was montarily speechless, her mouth hanging open in awe.

Satisfied, Hera nodded again, already deciding to give Liz a generous bonus.

"I really love the finished product," she said, carefully inspecting each piece for any necessary adjustnts or defects. To her delight, every accessory was flawlessly crafted, free of any imperfections. This only heightened her joy, and Liz, noticing Hera’s approval, clasped her hands together happily.

Just then, Liz’s assistant entered with a pushcart carrying refreshnts and snacks. She helped Liz set the large velvet box aside where Hera could easily see it, then quickly cleaned the table before arranging the treats.

"I’m so glad you love the final results," Liz said with a bright smile. "How about we enjoy so drinks and snacks first before we go over the receipt and contract for job completion?"

She bead at Hera and Athena, inviting them to relax and celebrate the success of the project.

Liz was overjoyed because Hera’s commission for each piece was an astounding $10 million. This high price was due to the insurance Hera had taken out on each jade piece, ensuring that if Liz and her workshop failed to deliver on their promise or damaged the raw jade without producing anything of value, they would be responsible for compensation. anwhile, Hera would be reimbursed through the insurance.

Now that Liz had successfully completed her end of the deal, she was set to receive $10 million per piece. With seven pairs in total, her company would be earning a staggering $140 million. Just the thought of it made Liz’s heart race with excitent.

Although her family’s company was of decent size, securing a sale of this magnitude was an incredibly rare occurrence—sothing that only happened if they received a massive order from an ultra-wealthy client, which was practically once in a blue moon.

Even when selling multiple pieces of jewelry, their highest sales rarely amounted to more than a few million.

This deal was a ga-changer. Not only would it provide a massive financial boost, but it would also stabilize the company during a period of declining sales.

More importantly, it would be enough to satisfy the shareholders, ensuring their confidence in the company’s future.

However, if Liz was unfortunate and ruined the raw jade, failing to deliver on the agreent with Hera, it would be Liz’s responsibility to compensate Hera.

Since the insurance Hera paid for was under Liz’s studio, it would be Liz’s company that would bear the consequences. This was part of Liz’s proposal to ensure that Hera’s raw materials were well protected and to gain her trust as a client.

At the sa ti, if Liz succeeded in fulfilling the agreent, it would significantly boost her sales—this was a strategic marketing move on Liz’s part.

Hera understood this, and while it was a calculated risk on Liz’s part, she chose to go along with the plan. After all, most high-value items sold on the market co with warranties or insurance.

When sothing is damaged, the manufacturer or seller is typically responsible for the repairs or compensation for any defects or loss.

So Hera doesn’t see any fault in this insurance she signed with Liz, and so, they happily chat as they drink their refreshnts and snack on the pastries in front of them.

"Hera, thank you so much for choosing my company to create these accessories and for paying for the insurance. But don’t worry, as long as our company stands, your accessories will always be under our care. If they need cleaning, repairs, or anything else, we’ll handle it. I’m truly grateful for your trust in us," Liz said, letting out a relieved sigh. Then, as if rembering sothing, she chuckled.

"You know, my dad almost had a heart attack when he heard we were gambling with $140 million for the insurance on your raw materials. He was so worried, he nearly beat to death!"

"I had to hide in my office for a few days until your commission was done. But because of that, my team worked even harder to make sure everything was perfect. Maybe I should make a habit of working from my office more often to boost everyone’s efficiency and attention to detail. What do you think?" Liz joked with a playful grin.

Hera chuckled softly but shook her head. "Please, don’t do that. You have to trust your people. Constant pressure and stress will only lower their efficiency and attention to detail. Let them do what they love, and allow them to show their true potential. That’s the way to build a healthy work environnt, and it’ll save you from unnecessary stress as well," she explained calmly.

Having worked many jobs at the bottom of the hierarchy herself, Hera was well aware of how much pressure could impact an employee’s ntal state.

She didn’t want Liz to fall into the trap of creating more dissatisfaction within her team. "Pushing them too hard won’t help. They’ll perform better when they feel supported, not when they’re under constant stress."

Liz nodded eagerly, almost like an obedient child. "Alright, I’ll listen to you, sister Hera..." she said with a playful grin, sipping her coffee.

"Anyway, with gifts like these, who could ever claim you’re being kept by anyone? It actually feels the other way around—you’re the one keeping them!" She pouted dramatically, her tone full of exaggerated jealousy. "I envy them so much..." Her eyes then sparkled mischievously. "How about you just adopt , huh?"
