She had thought she was prepared, only to find herself in a predicant similar to that of the other girl.

With no one to help her while she was trapped in the washroom, she reluctantly called Alexi.

However, his disgusted tone and dismissive attitude made it clear that running such an errand for her was beneath him.

Aside from her grandfather, Hera had no other n in her life, so Alexi’s disgust cut deeper than she had anticipated.

While she understood that not all n were like him, a lingering shadow of doubt crept into her heart: what if these male leads also reacted the sa way?

As she attempted to explain her needs to Dave, she hesitated, her lips pressed into a thin line of uncertainty.

Zhane, who had been quiet until now, stepped forward and gently ruffled Hera’s hair as she peeked out. "Don’t worry," he said reassuringly.

"I’ll head out and get you what you need. Just relax and soak in a warm bath for a while." He paused, considering her comfort. "Is there anything you’re craving? I can pick that up on my way too."

Everyone turned to Zhane, who seed to grasp Hera’s needs, curiosity evident on their faces.

They all wanted to help her just as much as he did, but unlike Zhane—who, as a doctor, had so understanding of won’s anatomy—the others were completely in the dark.

Hera’s heart swelled with surprise and appreciation as she listened to Zhane’s understanding and sweet offer.

Her shy yet sparkling eyes reflected her gratitude, capturing the attention of the other n, who felt a surge of envy.

They yearned for that sa look of admiration from her, as if she had found her hero just in ti.

Her gaze towards Zhane conveyed not only her gratitude but also a hint of deeper affection, stirring sothing profound within the others.

Leo, quick to pick up on the situation, stepped forward with a calm confidence.

Without saying a word, he leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on Hera’s cheek, his fingers tenderly rubbing her earlobes.

"Just wait for for a bit; I’ll be back as soon as I can," he reassured her softly.

There was no need for him to ask what she needed; he understood instinctively. Before anyone else could react, he slipped out of the room, determined to help her.

He had been watching over Hera for long enough to know her likes and comfort foods, which made this task effortless.

While Zhane appeared accommodating and understanding, Leo’s actions reflected the kind of deep understanding that only cos from being in a long-term relationship.

It was as if he instinctively knew what she might need and want, showcasing a profound connection between them.

Everyone was montarily taken aback, including Hera, who blinked a few tis as she watched Leo’s figure fade around the door.

The others followed suit, their gazes fixed on his retreating back, uncertain about what had just transpired.

Only Zhane seed to grasp Leo’s intentions. His lips pursed in annoyance, feeling as though he had labored to cultivate the land, only to have soone swoop in and harvest the crops right before his eyes.

After giving Hera a gentle peck on the cheek and flashing her a warm smile, Zhane rushed out the door.

Leo was already a distance away. Luke, Rafael, Xavier, and Dave exchanged puzzled glances, still in the dark about what Zhane and Leo were up to.

Suddenly, Luke’s expression darkened as realization struck him; without hesitation, he bolted out the door after them.

The others, still clueless, followed suit, unaware of what was happening. Before leaving, each of them leaned down to plant a kiss on Hera’s cheek.

Hera was the most bewildered of them all, staring at the closed door for a long ti, utterly confused about what had just transpired.

After a while, she retreated back into the bathroom, feeling a mix of gratitude and uncertainty.

The look in Leo’s eyes told her everything; there was no need for words. He understood what needed to be done, and that reassurance filled her with warmth.

To be honest, seeing all the n behave this way because of her made her heart swell with love and comfort. She appreciated their efforts, no matter how small.

Hera returned and filled the bathtub with warm water, hoping to relax her muscles while she waited for what she needed and a change of clothes.

By the ti the other n reached the entrance of the chateau, Leo was nowhere to be found, and Zhane was already getting into his car.

They assud Leo had driven off, but then a loud rumble echoed through the air.

"SHIT!!! That motherfucker is stealing my helicopter!" Dave shouted as he sprinted toward the helipad.

The loud roar of the helicopter’s rotors filled the air, echoing throughout the entire area, even reaching Hera’s ears.

"Are they really using the helicopter to buy napkins?!" Hera exclaid, peering out the window but unable to see anything. "Maybe not?" she added, uncertainty creeping into her voice.

"That would be overkill to use a chopper to buy my things, and it’s way too high profile, right?" Hera pondered aloud, uncertainty lingering in her voice.

But with no one to answer her, she decided to carry on with what she was doing.

On the other hand, Dave was running as fast as he could, determined to jump into the helicopter and ensure he wouldn’t be left behind.

He wanted to buy what Hera needed, but he didn’t even know who was piloting his chopper; all he knew was that Leo was onboard as well.

But when he reached the helipad, the helicopter was already a few ters off the ground. He caught a brief glimpse of Leo in the pilot’s seat, alone, with the other seats empty, just before Leo took off by himself.

"The motherfucker even had the audacity to smirk at ?!" Dave roared, his eyes widening in anger at the sight of Leo’s expression just before he took off.

He shouted in frustration several tis. Behind him, Luke, Xavier, and even Zhane ca running to see what was going on.

By the ti they reached Dave, Leo had already flown far away, and Dave was fishing out his phone to make a call. "Prepare the other helicopter ASAP! We’re flying to the city!" he barked into the phone, clearly annoyed.

The pilot on standby was both surprised and confused by Dave’s urgency and annoyance.

However, he knew better than to ask questions; his job was simply to pilot the helicopter.

As a retired Air Force captain, he was accustod to following orders from his superiors without hesitation.

He quickly erged from his lodging, jumped into a parked military truck, and drove to the hangar a little farther from the chateau.

After ensuring the helicopter was in good condition and had a full tank, he flew it to the helipad where Dave and the others were waiting.

On the way to pick up Dave, the pilot contacted aviation authorities to secure flight clearance for the helicopter around the city.

This essential step was necessary to prevent any potential aircraft accidents and ensure that the designated route was clear before granting permission to the pilots.

If the route wasn’t clear, they would need to find alternative paths.
