Simultaneously, she observed Hera’s temperant and realized that while any style would complent her, creating a unique look for her would be an endless and enjoyable challenge. Hera was such a versatile model that the possibilities seed limitless. It would be both a joy and a creative journey to craft styles that truly beca her own.

Now, she found herself inspired to create original styles based on the image of Hera in her mind.

"Stylist Zara?!" Alice’s soft, lodious voice pulled her back from the world of inspiration she had imrsed herself in. When she turned around, she saw Alice tugging at her sleeve, with Minerva standing just behind her, both eagerly waiting for an introduction to the salon’s owner.

"Oh, this is my boss and the owner of this place," she introduced briefly, but her mind seed elsewhere as if she were eager to slip away and attend to sothing urgent.

Sensing her distraction, Sandra nodded knowingly. "Go on, if you have sothing to take care of."

In an instant, Zara vanished from sight, her wide smile and a box of inspiration in her head, leaving Alice and Minerva waiting in confusion.

Alice felt incredibly embarrassed about stepping forward to introduce herself to the salon owner, who had powerful connections and was a notable figure herself. However, Minerva was unfazed; confident in her own background, she believed she could handle the situation with ease, not easily offended by what she perceived as just a re stylist.

Minerva haughtily confronted Hera before turning to face Sandra. "Hello, Owner Sandra! I’m Minerva Briley, the sole heiress of Briley Corp and sister to the CEO of SOE. It’s a pleasure to et you." She extended her hand to shake Sandra’s, but Sandra remained rooted in place, unmoving.

Sandra was well acquainted with Minerva from her years in high society, where she knew almost everyone. However, her focus shifted when she beca captivated by Hera and chose her as her muse. Sandra started following Hera closely, becoming one of her dedicated fans who supported her through the variety show and participated actively in her endeavors during the show. It was during this ti that Sandra observed firsthand the troubles that Minerva and Alice often caused for Hera.

She couldn’t ignore the condescending glances Minerva aid at Hera. While Hera hadn’t openly revealed her connection with the Averys beyond Sasha’s brief introduction, Sandra and her ntor knew to respect Hera’s discretion. This only deepened Sandra’s admiration for Hera’s down-to-earth humility, especially considering her imnse wealth. In contrast, Minerva appeared small-minded and petty next to Hera’s dignified presence.

Sandra exhaled to compose herself. "Hello. I’m sorry, I have an appointnt today." She briefly dismissed Minerva and led Hera upstairs to her personal styling room, with Logan quietly following behind. As he followed behind, the young man with Minerva and Alice recognized Logan, noticing he hadn’t changed his clothes since leaving campus earlier.

"Logan?! What are you doing here?" He asked accusatorily, eyeing Logan and then Hera.

Hera, Sandra, and Logan all stopped in their track when they just stamped into the stairs to ascend. Logan remained silent, nervously pursing his lips and shrinking slightly behind Hera like a scared mouse. Hera noticed his deanor change and raised an eyebrow as she addressed the young man before her.

"Are you Logan’s friend?"

"Yes, I’m Lucas Freed, Logan’s best friend, senior!" Lucas flashed Hera his most charming smile, his eyes simultaneously dreamy and calculating as he awaited her response.

"Nice to et you. We didn’t get a chance to talk earlier. Are you with them?" Hera inquired, subtly probing Lucas for information.

"Yes, they’ve just beco my seniors!" Lucas boasted cheerfully, giving Logan a sidelong glance.

"Seniors? Weren’t they also freshn at the sa university? Or am I mistaken?" Hera asked, a hint of confusion coloring her tone.

"No, Miss Briley just signed up as their new artist singer in her brother’s company, and they ca with for the styling," Lucas said proudly, directing his boasting towards Logan, who appeared visibly upset for so reason. It wasn’t that Logan was unhappy about Lucas’s success, but there seed to be another cause for his distress.

"Congratulations! That’s wonderful news," Hera said warmly, genuinely pleased for Lucas. Her curiosity piqued, she wondered if Lucas’s talents surpassed Logan’s, given Logan’s already impressive skills. Recalling the musical genius who assisted Alice in the novel, she asked, "Are you also into composing?"

"Yes, senior. My best buddy can testify to how good my work is!" Lucas said confidently, shooting Logan a smug smile before continuing. "Did you hire Logan as an assistant?"

"Hmm," Hera responded noncommittally. She didn’t feel inclined to continue the conversation with Lucas any further. He seed too much like Minerva in many ways, and it was no surprise they got along. Hera now realized that the genius singer-composer ntioned in the novel had ended up in their company’s hands just like what it was ntioned in the novel.

If Lucas was the genius singer-composer in the novel, was Logan his supposed rival, driven by a fierce desire to outshine Lucas and win music awards? Did Logan resort to plagiarizing one of Lucas’s songs, a scandal that ultimately ruined his career and relegated him to obscurity despite his talent?

If that’s the situation, Hera resolved to prevent Logan from facing such a downfall and making mistakes that could ruin his career. His talent deserved recognition and success, not to be forgotten in the annals of music history.

Hera chose not to elaborate further or dwell on their assumptions about Logan. The thought had dampened her mood considerably, prompting her to move on without offering any clarifications.

Hera, Sandra, and Logan ascended the stairs, leaving Minerva and Alice simring with frustration at being sidelined. anwhile, Lucas watched Hera with intense, inscrutable eyes, his emotions hidden from view. As Logan walked away, Lucas cast him a final glance that betrayed no friendship but rather hinted at a deeper animosity. To an observer, it would seem they were bitter enemies, judging by Lucas’s gaze fixed on Logan’s retreating figure.

When the three reached Sandra’s personal styling room, Hera refrained from pressuring Logan to explain further. Instead, she directed him to join Sandra, not wanting to add to his evident stress.

She also didn’t want to burden herself with overthinking, particularly since Alice had secured a character from the novel who played a significant supportive role. While Logan and Sandra were occupied inside the room, she texted Athena for confirmation.

[Hera: Athena, do you rember the na of the singer-composer Alice recruited in the novel, who also supported her in the entertainnt industry and beca one of her admirers?]

[Athena: Hmmmm...]

[Athena: Let think. There are so many characters that my mory is becoming jumbled.]

[Athena: But I rember his na starts with L.]

[Hera: Lucas Freed?]

[Athena: Yes! That’s right!!]

[Hera: Then, was his rival nad Logan Walker?]

[Athena:!!!]

[Athena: Don’t tell you’ve already t them? Did you secure Lucas, at least?!]

[Hera: (。•́︿•̀。)]

[Hera: I didn’t, he sounded like a jerk though.]

[Athena: That doesn’t quite fit. Lucas Freed was supposed to be a cool, charming man who exuded sensuality along with his charm.]

[Athena: Perhaps it’s because his rise to fa was supposed to happen a few years later, after he had already won several awards and beco a world-renowned singer, helping Alice in the entertainnt industry afterward.]
