Bradley, the director, chuckled and looked at Jaden before he whispered to Avery, "It’s all thanks to your brother, Jaden."

Avery didn’t understand what Bradley was trying to imply. "What does it have to do with Jaden?"

Bradley explained, "I’ve asked Mr. Jackson before about how Luna was able to act like a young girl in his movie. He told that as long as Jaden was on set, Luna would naturally beco more youthful, including her gaze and microexpressions." Avery was still trying to take in what Bradley had just said, but sothing seed off.

Bradley then smiled and said, "That’s why I asked Jaden to help . All I want him to do is to be present on set when Luna is filming school and everyday scenes, like what is happening now. It works incredibly well."

Lockwood had a distinct dual personality in the TV series. She was a female university student with outstanding grades and was a little silly and dorky, which didn’t make her soone extraordinary compared to her peers. However, she was also a calm, smart, sharp, and resolute female detective, nothing like an ordinary university student.

For example, after Lockwood found out that the popular guy in school she liked had tried to murder his ex-girlfriend, she did not hesitate to tackle him and call the police.

Avery looked at Jaden and then at Luna, who looked like a 19-year-old girl on cara. She sohow understood what was going on between those two. "I see," she murmured, "That’s good."

Standing next to Jaden was her other brother, Zayn. Zayn knew he lacked acting skills. He would stand at the side and observe how others acted whenever he was free on set. Sotis, he would be so engrossed in it that he would even mimic the expressions and gestures of the character as if he were him. Usually, when that happened, no one would interrupt him.

Very soon, Luna’s scene was done. Bradley stood up and gave her a thumbs-up. "That’s an excellent take. We’re done with this scene."

Luna walked over and said politely, "Thanks, Mr. Moore." Then, she greeted Avery and Josie, "Avery, Josie. It’s cold today. Be careful not to catch a cold."

Josie jumped around excitedly. "Luna, you acted so well that I almost didn’t recognize you."

"Thank you, Josie." Luna was very happy. "When the others praise , it might be out of friendship, but if you praise , it is definitely true."

Josie raised her hand and said, "Today is my sixth birthday. I am holding a party tonight. Luna, do you want to join us?"

Luna’s eyes lit up. She pointed at herself and was flattered. "Really? Can I really attend your birthday party?" She was very familiar with the Carter family but had never been to the Carter family’s ho in the city. She wondered if they treated her as one of their own since they invited her over now.

Luna was secretly delighted and glanced at Jaden. Jaden happened to be looking at her too. There was admiration and sothing else in his eyes. When their eyes t, it was as if a breeze blew across a lake, causing emotions to ripple out in their chests. They quickly looked away as if they had never looked at each other.

"Yes, you can co." Josie nodded and made a gesture with her arms. "Mom has made a lot of delicious food. I love it very much. You will like it too."

"Then it’s settled." Luna was in high spirits. She said to the director, "Mr. Moore, let’s hurry up and film the next scene, shall we?"

Bradley looked at Zayn. Zayn nodded and replied, "I’m ready. We can start filming anyti."

In the next scene, Zayn would act as the police detective who cos to the school to take the physical evidence that Lockwood has found. Lockwood was watching the handso senior play against the champion basketball team when she found out he had a new girlfriend.

The scene was fild in the gym. Josie followed Avery and stood beside the cara to watch too. During halfti, Josie said softly, "Alaric is still the best at basketball."

Bradley teased, "How good is your brother, kiddo?"

Josie said proudly, "Alaric is a senior at the University of Technology. He used to be a basketball player, but now he’s a tennis player. He’s super handso."

Bradley’s interest was piqued. "How handso is he? More handso than Zayn?"

Josie thought for a mont and said seriously, "They’re equally handso." She took out her child’s phone and showed a photo to Bradley. "Look. This is a photo of Alaric playing basketball."

Bradley’s eyes lit up when he saw the photo. He slapped his thigh and said, "Wow. He really should be an actor." He had wanted to say "What a pity," but then rembered Alaric was a professional athlete, which was as good as an actor too.

Hence, he changed his tune. "It would be a pity if he doesn’t co to our show and film a few scenes of him playing basketball."

"Samira." Bradley was always very polite to Avery, even though she was more than 20 years younger than him. "Can you get Alaric to make a guest appearance for a few minutes?"

Avery said, "As long as he’s willing."

She was going to reach for her phone but Jaden said, "I’ll call him."

Jaden walked out of the crowd and went to a corner before calling Alaric. "There’s a basketball scene now. The student I found previously has a cold and isn’t at his best. Josie recomnded you to the director. Mr. Moore is very satisfied with your photo and wants to invite you over to make a guest appearance for a few minutes."

When Alaric heard this, he was overjoyed. "It’s just for a few minutes. Sure, I’ll be right there."

Jaden hung up the phone and nodded at the female students who greeted him. However, his gaze suddenly focused on the face of a girl not far away. The girl had pulled down her mask to drink water, revealing her face.

When he saw the girl’s face, he was stunned. He could not move or look away. He looked straight at her, trying to see her clearly.

Joy was drinking water when she suddenly felt an intense and sharp gaze on her, making her go on alert instantly. However, she did not imdiately try to find out who was looking at her. Instead, she used her water bottle to cover her face and quietly observed her surroundings.

She imdiately noticed Jaden and t his gaze. Her heart skipped a beat. Jaden was not easy to fool. She had to leave now.

She put down the water bottle and turned to ask a boy passing by, "Hello. I’m not a student from your school. I snuck in to watch Luna film. I’m a little hungry now. Can you take to your school’s canteen to eat sothing? It’s my treat."

No boy could refuse her. The boy was imdiately flattered and said, "Of course. I’ll bring you there now."

Jaden saw Joy leave and imdiately chased after her. Unfortunately, there were too many people in the gym. By the ti he ran out, Joy was already gone.

"She’s so similar..." He stood in the wind and muttered softly, "Her gaze is almost identical..."
