Walking out of the kindergarten, Avery called Rufus and asked him to deal with the Pittman family’s pressure on the kindergarten. Then, she flew to school happily and saw a magical scene by the lake.

Archie hugged Gia, who was dressed like a young girl from the last century. The two of them leaned against an Aston Martin and whispered to each other. It felt like they were whole. Avery was curious. When did these two get together? But she didn’t find it strange at all.

Gia was delicate, beautiful, and a little talented and famous. It was normal for Archie to take a fancy to her.

Archie was better than Lucas in terms of looks, background, and wealth. He was also generous to his girlfriend. It was expected that Gia would like him. They were a match made in heaven. Avery sincerely hoped that they would stick to each other so no one else would be hard.

For this reason, she deliberately took a detour to the classroom so as not to disturb them.

Seeing her, the entire class was excited. They looked at her as if they were looking at a sponsor.

Soone said,

"Avery, you also know how boring the classes are. The professors are hard to understand. When you’re not around, we can’t even focus."

"Avery, you’re finally back. These are the problems that we failed to solve in the past two weeks. We’re waiting for you to solve them," another student said.

"Thank you for waiting for ." Avery did not know whether to laugh or cry. "I’ll treat the entire class tonight."

She and the class had an unwritten habit: every ti she disappeared for a long ti, she would treat the entire class to a al.

Everybody smiled.

"Avery, you’re the best in the entire school—no, the best student in the country."

5:30 P.M.

The entire class gathered in the campus cafeteria and enjoyed the delicious food Avery brought them.

Unknown to them, right above their heads, in a private room on the restaurant’s third floor, Elwood Hans, the director of their departnt; Gideon Kincaid, the vice principal of the school; and Oswald Larkspur, who was in charge of the city’s education, were dining with three guests.

The three guests were from the sa family: Konnor, dean of the National Music Academy; the internationally renowned singer Saanvi; and the famous singer Paityn.

In Paityn’s heavenly voice, the two parties chatted about cooperation while eating.

This collaboration was initiated by Oswald.

Konnor said that the National Music Academy would be happy to collaborate with Rosemont University. Rosemont could send outstanding students to the National Music Academy for exchange and study, and the academy could send its best teachers to Rosemont University from ti to ti. He and his partner could also serve as guest professors at Rosemont.

The Pittman family also planned to donate a batch of new instrunts to the Rosemont University Conservatory of Music. Although Rosemont was a famous school, its music academy was a weak departnt and not ranked nationally. It had therefore beco one of Rosemont University’s key departnts targeted for strengthening.

Gideon was overjoyed when he heard this. He thanked them repeatedly and kept toasting Konnor and his wife.

When the conversation was nearly over, Konnor put down his wine glass and looked worried.

"There’s just one thing that concerns Rosemont University’s reputation, but I don’t know if I should say it."

Gideon hurriedly responded,

"If it concerns Rosemont University’s reputation, please tell us."

Konnor sighed.

"The students from Rosemont University are all talented. They have a good reputation, but there are always exceptions.

"There’s a girl at your university who hasn’t been attending classes for a while and has been causing trouble outside of school. She even assaulted a six-year-old child. That’s terrible.

"If she is not severely punished, I’m afraid people will be disappointed in Rosemont University."

When Gideon heard this, he hurriedly asked,

"What’s her na? Which major is she in?"

Konnor said,

"Take a look at this video."

He showed Gideon and the others a video of Avery slapping Lola. The video had been taken by Lola’s driver and bodyguard.

This driver knew that Lola liked to lie. Every ti she had a conflict with soone, he would secretly record it on his phone so that he and the Pittman family could find out the truth and handle the situation accurately.

When Gideon saw the video, he slamd the table angrily.

"This girl is too arrogant! How can she hit a five- or six-year-old child?"

Oswald added seriously,

"No matter which school this girl is from, she must be severely punished!"

Elwood frowned and looked at the video carefully before saying,

"This girl seems to be Avery, from my faculty."

"She is Avery," Konnor said righteously. "My only granddaughter, Lola, was studying in the sa kindergarten as her sister, Josie. Josie’s wild cat scratched my granddaughter. My granddaughter argued with them. Then Avery slapped her." He held out a diagnosis. "This is from my granddaughter’s psychiatrist."

"After she was slapped by Avery in public, she developed severe post-traumatic stress disorder and social phobia. She’s unwilling to go to school or go out. She refuses to see anyone except her family."

Saanvi took out a handkerchief and wiped the corners of her eyes. She choked and said,

"When Lola was less than one year old, her mother was seriously injured in a performance accident and committed suicide because she couldn’t pursue her beloved dance career.

"Because of this, Lola was often mocked by children her age. She developed an inferiority complex and beca introverted. It was difficult for her to make friends.

"We had to send her to Rosemont City to study, and she finally beca a bit more outgoing. But now, after experiencing this, she hides at ho every day, trembling. Even in her sleep, she screams, ’Don’t hit .’ It’s heartbreaking for us."

Paityn watched them act in silence. She thought to herself,

They have more talent in acting than in music. They should be actors.

Gideon slamd the table.

"Mr. Pittman, Ms. Grant, don’t worry. I’ll investigate this matter tomorrow and give you an explanation."

"I know Avery," Elwood said, shaking his head in disbelief. "She’s a top student. Our school spent a lot of effort convincing her to enroll at Rosemont University..."

"No student has privileges!" Oswald said firmly. "This matter must be dealt with seriously, even though she is a top student."

Gideon knew that Oswald was here tonight to stand up for the Pittman family. So Avery must be punished severely.

He put on a righteous expression.

"Rosemont University’s good reputation can’t be ruined by Avery. Mr. Pittman, Ms. Grant—you are the families of the victim. How do you think we should punish Avery?"

Konnor’s expression was icy. He spoke each word deliberately:

"A student like her must be expelled. That’s the only way to deliver justice for Lola and the public."
