Elsie said, "I haven’t forgotten. That’s why I wanted to ask you how they are doing now."

Soone said, "Not long after you transferred schools, they also transferred. Apparently, they beca too arrogant and offended the neighborhood hooligans. The hooligans almost crippled them and even sent them death threats. The Fantastic Four were terrified and cowardly and didn’t want to stay at our school anymore. As for where they went, we’re not too sure." After a mont of silence, Elsie smiled. "That’s good. They finally got what they deserved."

"Co on, let’s drink."

She poured herself wine, lively again. However, soone kept sending Elsie calls and ssages throughout dinner.

Everyone teased her, and soone shouted, "Don’t tell you’re already taken! If you are, call your family over, and let’s see what kind of man is pursuing our beautiful host."

"No." Elsie shook her head. "It’s just my mother urging to go ho."

Soone replied in shock, "You’re an adult now. Why is your mother still so strict?" Everyone laughed. "It’s only ten o’clock, and she’s calling you non-stop. You must be having a tough ti." Elsie smiled bitterly. "Yes, I’m happy to be ho and bitter about this."

The class reunion lasted until the mall closed.

Elsie drank a little too much, but she didn’t let her classmates escort her ho. "My mother will fly into a rage when she sees drunk like this. You’ll definitely get scolded if you escort ho."

Hence, no one dared to escort her ho but called her a cab instead.

Half an hour later.

As soon as Elsie entered the complex, she saw her mother waiting at the entrance to the building. When she saw Elsie, she scolded, "Why are you back so late? Why do you sll of alcohol? Did you bump into so hooligans and get forced to drink with them?" Elsie said impatiently, "Didn’t I tell you? It was just a class reunion. I drank a few more glasses than I should have."

She covered her ears and walked around her mother to get into the elevator. "I’m very sleepy right now. Don’t nag at . I just want to get so sleep."

After entering the apartnt, Elsie put down her bag and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

"I called her so many tis tonight, but she only replied once," Kerise muttered unhappily to herself. "Don’t tell she was drinking with so man."

At the thought of this, Kerise opened her daughter’s bag, took out her phone, and entered the password.

Elsie had changed the password again.

Kerise was furious and felt that her daughter did not trust her. However, she didn’t want to quarrel with Elsie over such a small matter, so she put the phone back in the bag.

Elsie was tired and sleepy, so half an hour later, she fell asleep on the bed.

Only then did Kerise tiptoe into her room. She picked up Elsie’s phone with one hand and her daughter’s index finger with the other.

She pressed Elsie’s finger on the phone to unlock it.

The phone finally unlocked, and Kerise expertly checked her daughter’s calls, ssages, and issage. Everything looked quite normal.

It wasn’t until Kerise clicked on her daughter’s Facebook that she saw a post with a few photos of a man. The photos were accompanied by many "sad" and "excited" emojis, along with a single sentence: [Today, I finally t him. He’s still so righteous and handso. I believe this is my chance to make up for what I did...]

Kerise was angry because this Facebook post was private and set to "only visible to ."

This ant that the man in the photo was an important person in Elsie’s life.

Kerise mumbled to herself, "You’re only 25 years old. It wasn’t easy for you to transfer from Dichester to WEBC to beco the anchor and host of the most popular variety show in the country. You can’t let an incompetent man co between your career." She clicked on the photos and studied the man in them.

Horror flashed across her eyes. Her pupils suddenly constricted. "Zayn?"

"I will never forget this face!" Kerise’s voice trembled, and her expression was a mixture of anger and fear.

"It really is Zayn. This man is back and pestering Elsie again? You’re quite persistent. It’s not enough that you almost destroyed Elsie back then, but now you want to get close to her again. You really don’t know when to quit!" She couldn’t help but mutter to herself, "He’s wearing a military uniform? Could he be a soldier?"

"That’s impossible. How can such a bad guy who had the nerve to stab his classmate in high school beco a soldier?"

She zood in on the photo and observed it. Then, she saw a humanoid logo in the corner and the words "Boundary Strike releasing soon."

Then she rembered. "Wasn’t Elsie attending a movie premiere tonight? Was it Boundary Strike? Does this an that Zayn acted in this movie? He does have quite the deceiving look..."

At the thought of this, Kerise frowned angrily and cursed, "How dare you make a move on my daughter! You were the reason my daughter’s grades dropped in high school. She almost couldn’t get into a good university. Now, you want to seduce her? I won’t let you have your way..."

"It’s so noisy..." Elsie, who was half-asleep, turned over and grumbled unhappily.

Kerise knew that Elsie hated it when her mother looked through her phone. She quickly shut her mouth and put the phone back on the bedside table before leaving Elsie’s room. She had to plan carefully and co up with a way to chase Zayn away.

On the other side of the city, Avery had already returned to the villa. She was taking a shower while listening to the news on her phone.

"The third season of Resilient Queens is about to start airing. The host of the previous two seasons, Corvette Simpson, has taken maternity leave. Elsie will be our temporary host..." Avery was surprised. She looked at her phone and saw a clip of Elsie hosting the show.

Resilient Queens was the most popular variety show of the mont. It had a lot of viewers and touched on various topics. The first two seasons made many female celebrities popular.

Many unpopular female artists who were nearing the end of their pri years in the entertainnt industry tried their best to be a part of the show, hoping to make a coback. Even Luna once joked, "If I don’t make a coback this year, I might have to participate in Resilient Queens next year."

Similarly, the host had to be a popular and famous top host in the industry to be chosen.

Avery muttered as she watched, "It’s a small world indeed. We may end up in different places but still find each other in the end.

"Zayn doesn’t want to see her, but she’s so obsessed with him. The two of them are in the sa city and social circle. What an ill-fated relationship..."

Before Elsie and Zayn got the chance to et again, Avery did not expect to visit the mysterious and extrely dangerous Moran family estate to et Alexander’s "family."
