This is the post-finale note.

First, thank you to all the readers who stayed with until the end and gave this story their love.

The story began with a simple thought: What would happen if I twisted the common “betrayal and exile” cliche?

I worried about whether it would do well, or if I could even finish it properly, but before I knew it, here I am, writing a post-finale note.

The redemption arcs of the supporting characters ran smoothly, and even the Demon King, who marked both the beginning and end of the story, received a fairly dignified send-off.

I’ve always liked the idea that every villain has a reason they couldn’t help but turn out the way they did.

Looking back now as I stand here at the finale, it feels like, in my own way, I managed to stay true to that intent.

That said, there were definitely parts I wasn’t satisfied with, due to the nature of a live serialization without much in reserve.

The rough structure of the early chapters, so unnecessary episodes, and even the imbalance in the screen ti of so supporting characters all co to mind.

Especially the harem tag, it was difficult to push that boldly due to the nature of the character Dian.

Dian is a free spirit who hates being tied down.

He ran away from the capital in the prologue, always said he hadn’t thought about marriage yet, and even ran away again in the final chapter.

Included in what Dian avoids are human relationships that cross the line and beco excessively close.

That’s why, despite being the closest of friends, he always kept a proper distance from Linus.

When needed, he becos a social butterfly, but by default, he’s soone who prefers the comfort of being ho alone.

Because Dian’s personality was a key part of the story’s foundation, it wasn’t easy to push beyond the phase of saving each heroine.

Especially since most of the heroines were harboring unrequited love for Dian without him realizing it.

And so, during his second escape, he only brought Isra, the one relationship that had beco clearly defined.

Still, I can guess that many readers were quite disappointed by this.
