[SICARIO]
"…Fr three hundred years after the great war was won, you stayed away, and now you show up and expect to run into your arms? I waited for you for so long as you weren't even bothered by my absence.
"And now when everything is okay, when I finally learn to move on, and when I finally accept that no one would ever want like I wanted you, you show up. You show up like this is so ga for you.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" Hudhayfah asked angrily. He had been nursing a broken heart for over a thousand years and now this man was showing up for him right now when they had other things to work on.
This was the cruelest thing he had ever experienced and there was no denying that fate was truly a son of a bitch for this. What the fuck was Hudhayfah even supposed to make of this right now?
"I'm sorry, baby. I'm sorry I'm late. I won't leave, never again, I swear it," Trey said as he stepped forward, closing the distance between him and the healer. Here and now, they were not a Russel and a pack healer, no.
Here, they were just Hudhayfah and Trey, two souls that had yearned for a mother for the longest ti. Two n who had wished for their reunion one too many tis, two people who had felt an attraction so deep that they hadn't been able to fight it.
Hell, even the universe hadn't been able to pull them apart.
It was what life had granted the both of them and boy was it crazy.
"No… I won't accept this," Hudhayfah mumbled as he took a step back, ever so slowly.
It was a tiny step, almost like he wasn't sure if he truly wanted to run away from Trey, or if he wanted to stay and be here in the arms of the man he had desired for the longest ti.
A thousand years was a lot of ti and there was nothing that would ever heal the ache that they both had had in that ti, save for themselves. Only they would be able to get out of this.
"I know, baby. I know. That's why I won't push, angel. I won't try to force you to accept , I won't try to make you change your mind about all of this, sweetheart. Your anger is justified. Your rage is justified. Your disappointnt is justified.
"I just hope you don't try to make unlove you because that will never happen, angel. I won't ever leave your side, no matter what happens. Even if you push away, I will work on earning your trust. I waited for so long, and I was selfish to make you wait.
"I looked for you and I should have looked harder. Hate , if you want, angel. Beat up, if you need to. Make suffer if that is all it takes, but please, don't… don't push away, please?" Trey said, his voice coming off in soft whimpers, as he looked at the beautiful man before him.
He loved Hudhayfah so much it hurt to breathe. He had tried his very best not to co to Sicario, but there was only so much that his heart could take on.
He had been patient, and in his apprentice, he had cost the love of his life so much more than he had ever thought. That was sothing that Trey would forever strive to work for, no matter how long it took.
He was a man in love and powers be damned, he wasn't going to let go.
"I hate you," Hudhayfah whispered, as he let the tears that had been brimming in his eyes flow for the first ti since the ti he had seen Trey years ago. He felt like this was unreal, like he was dreaming and there wasn't much he could do about it.
"I know, my beautiful angel. I know," Trey said, holding Hudhayfah's hands gently before lifting them to his lips for a gentle kiss like he was scared of hurting Hudhayfah even more than he had already hurt him.
"I could kill you this instant," Hudhayfah said earnestly when Trey lifted his head, cupping Hudhayfah's cheeks in the process. He loved how beautiful his mate was and he would do whatever it took to stay with him.
"And I'd die the happiest man, my Perihan. I'd rather die by your hands than anyone else's hands, baby. Like I told you, I don't mind dying here in front of you. I have already seen you and touched you.
"I wanted to let you know that I will love you in every lifeti. I know that sounds crazy seeing as it took twelve hundred years to co and finally be standing in front of you, but I promise in the next lifeti, you won't have to wait long, my love.

"I will fight and tell the goddess to let et you earlier to make up for all the ti I lost. I'm so sorry it took so long, love. I really am. I won't ask for much, Perihan, because I know I don't deserve to be standing in your presence, ever.
"But I love you. I have always loved you, and I will always, always love and choose you in every lifeti," Trey confessed earnestly as he leaned his head against Hudhayfah's so gently like he was scared he would hurt him even more.
He didn't want to cause him more pain, he couldn't live with himself if that happened again, not this ti. He would hate himself forever and that would ruin him. He never intended to cause Hudhayfah so much pain and it was obvious, but would that ever be enough?
"I don't love you," Hudhayfah mumbled defiantly, his lips shaking as he breathed in the caral scent from Trey.
He was staring into Trey's eyes when he said that and yet even then, Trey didn't even seem bothered by it. He didn't expect that Hudhayfah would co running into his arms just because of one confession.
"Whatever you say, baby," Trey whispered as he kissed the healer's cheeks gently, his lips lingering for a little longer than anyone would ever think. Trey didn't stop at that. He peppered kisses on Hudhayfah's face like this was the first ti he was seeing him.
"I'll kill you," Hudhayfah warned and Trey just chuckled.
"Dying at the hands of the man I love isn't as scary as dying without telling you how much I love you, Perihan. Whatever happens to henceforth, I will accept it. If this is the last ti I see you, then I hope you never forget that I love you.
"That I will always love you, in every lifeti, angel. You're everything to , Perihan, and I wouldn't trade you for anything," Trey admitted before he kissed the corners of Hudhayfah's lips.
He could feel the rapid breathing from the healer and he loved it. Hudhayfah may have hated him, but this was sothing that only the both of them knew of. A reality that would always exist between them no matter how hard everything got.
"Ngh…" Hudhayfah breathed when Trey pecked his lower lip. He felt hot, like his body was on fire. They both knew what that ant for the both of them, but damn was this a thing that Hudhayfah Karim had mustered for years on end.
He had lived in the shadows because he had no one who could stay for him other than his fellow warriors. His friend had always gotten love and he had nothing, but now, the man he had dread of was here and he didn't know what to do about it, truly.
"I'm going to kiss you now, angel," Trey whispered against Hudhayfah's ears, making the healer go red. He had never been kissed before. He had never been touched by anyone before.
This was the first ti anyone had ever managed to get this close to him and it scared the hell out of him, most of the people who always found their way to him were never love interests or anything, and Hudhayfah had never paid attention to them because none of them had been his mates.
"I— What?... I an you… can't? No?" Hudhayfah trailed off, his confusion amusing Trey even more. The healer, the man who could kill and heal at the sa ti, the man who had been known for his lethal antics, had never been touched like Trey was.
It was supposed to be strange, to be interesting enough to warrant his friend making fun of him later, but then here with Trey, Hudhayfah felt safe.
He had always been able to take care of himself, given he was a Savasci knight, but right now, it was like the world had finally stopped spinning to accommodate the both of them.
"Oh, my goodness," Trey breathed as he looked at Hudhayfah right into his eyes.
"I hate you," Hudhayfah mumbled but Trey was probably already used to it by now.
"You've never been kissed before, have you? You've never been with another? You're so pure, my bright moon," Trey said in realization and Hudhayfah tried to push Trey away, not sure he wanted everyone to know about his innocence.
"I have kissed a lot of people," Hudhayfah defended sheepishly.
"For soone who has been to thousands of wars and survived, you're so innocent."
"Yeah, well excuse for waiting for my mate," the healer grumbled.
"I'm here now, my angel, I'm here now," Trey said before hungrily smashing his lips against Hudhayfah.
The healer didn't fight him.
