The History of the Tianjian Xun & White Cloud Star!

White Cloud Star didn't follow a normal calendar.

It followed a system of Eras.

Each Era lasted ten thousand years.

When Su Xiaobai left, it was Year 5024 of the era of "Dawn Age"—five thousand years since the end of the last era — "The Great Epoch".

And in that Great Epoch, things were different.

There were no Guardian Walls.

Wuxia Province was not the strongest power.

The world was ruled by Hunters.

And it was then—that a single man changed everything.

Tianjian Xun.

A legend.

Born in the small "Linshui Clan" in Wuxia Province—he rose like no one before him.

With his companions, he built the Guardian Walls, the very thing that shielded Wuxia Province from destruction.

And alongside him?

— The Dragon Lord, current patriarch of the Azure Dragon Clan, and father of Long Lifen.

— The Immortal Emperor, ruler of the Sun Dynasty.

— And Immortal Emperor's son—Sun Liang, Immortal Sun. The man Su Xiaobai wanted dead.

They were all still alive.

Except for Tianjian Xun.

He disappeared at the end of the Great Epoch.

And so—the last Era was nad after him.

"The Era of Tianjian."

To have an Era nad after you, It was the greatest honor, reserved only for those who had shaped the world itself.

With Yue Xi's words, Su Xiaobai could finally see the picture more clearly.

The Spiritual Tablets weren't just so lost relics.

They were the foundation of Tianjian Xun's power.

If he had truly collected them all, then his rise to Human Immortal Realm and beyond made perfect sense.

And yet—

Sowhere along the way, he had failed.

Or rather—he had fallen.

His ascent wasn't glorious.

It was a crash landing into Immortal Rain Valley, the last remnants of his legend buried in a foreign world.

A hero who built everything—only to lose it all.

And with his disappearance, the Great Epoch ended.

But his legacy didn't die.

His na was still whispered across White Cloud Star, his deeds passed down like scripture.

Even Su Xiaobai had grown up hearing his tales.

The Linshui Clan that birthed him?

It had long since fractured.

One faction rose as the Azure Dragon Clan.

Another beca the Sun Dynasty.

Both were led by his forr comrades—and were now the undisputed rulers of White Cloud Star.

That was why rooting them out wasn't as simple as killing them.

Even if Su Xiaobai slaughtered them all, Wuxia Province wouldn't accept it. If he wanted vengeance, it wasn't enough to spill their blood.

He had to crush the entire Province beneath his feet.

Su Xiaobai exhaled, his mind spinning.

"So, the Holy Mother of Jade Nation... she was one of Tianjian Xun's old allies too."

It was the only explanation.

She must have aided him during his journey, lending him the Light Tab, which they worshiped as the Light God Spirit.

To them, the Light Tab was not just a tool—It was their Light God's Spirit.

A divine protection against the Hunters that plagued their land.

But Tianjian Xun never returned it.

Wuxia Province rose.

Jade Nation fell.

Without its treasure, it had been left to rot, shrinking, surviving only by begging for scraps.

Tens of thousands of years later—

Their anger had never faded.

Their vengeance never wavered.

They had been robbed of their survival.

They had hidden. They had planned. They had waited.

And now, Yue Xiuying had stolen back their lost relic. It made perfect sense why the she would spend thousands of years plotting to take it back.

She would chase this debt across the stars if she had to.

And now—

If she safely returned, she would beco one of the most powerful forces in White Cloud Star.

Su Xiaobai could already imagine it.

The mont she crossed back into her holand, the entire white cloud star power dynamics would be flipped upside down.

Su Xiaobai chuckled.

"Hahaha..."

Even after leaving White Cloud Star, its shadows still followed him.

It was as if fate had wrapped its fingers around his throat, refusing to let go.

"Are you done?"

Yue Xi's voice echoed , wary and tense.

She wasn't the confident #1 Inner Court disciple anymore. She wasn't standing above him, looking down.

Right now—she was anxious. This mission wasn't just hers. It was the life and death of an entire nation.

Compared to that, a fight with Su Xiaobai?

She didn't even take it seriously.

"Hey, you arrived here far after the Celestial Peak Lord, Yue Xiuying, right?" Su Xiaobai's gaze turned sharper, drilling into Yue Xi like a blade.

"How did you do it? Do you people have a way to send soone between the two worlds without reaching Immortality?"

Yue Xi flinched. Because she knew exactly what he was asking. Her mind drifted—back to the crossing. Back to the thod they had used to slip between realms.

She had left a hundred years ago.

Her fellow sisters—those who followed Yue Xiuying—left even earlier.

And Yue Xiuying herself? She had been here for millennium.

Living in isolation, buried in a foreign world, plotting for a way ho. And now—that way ho was finally open again.

Her eyes turned montarily hazy, lost in thought.

"There is…" she admitted.

Then, her gaze flicked back to Su Xiaobai, serious and heavy.

"But you won't like it." Enjoy new adventures from My Virtual Library Empire

Su Xiaobai shrugged. "Doesn't matter. Just tell what it is."

Yue Xi's plump red lips smashed together.

"I haven't agreed yet." Her tone turned colder. "You'd have to ask—"

Then—

Her expression snapped into alarm.

"Wait!"

She was yanked backwards by an unseen force, her body shooting into the sky like a ragdoll caught in a hurricane.

BOOM!

Su Xiaobai moved on instinct, reaching out—Only for a thick white smoke to explode in his face, clogging his lungs like a poisonous cloud.

"Ghhk—! Hah… Fuck!"

He staggered, coughing violently. His throat burned as he choked, his body reacting instinctively, his [Invincible Domain] activating on reflex.

His grin twisted into a grimace, but even as he gasped for air, he still cursed through the wheezing.

"Damn… what did you eat to fart out this much smoke—"

And then—his instinctive activation of [Invincible Domain] saved his life.

Because the very next mont—

CRASH!

A roar of flas descended from the heavens, a scorching white inferno, so hot that the space itself ignited.

The smoke left behind combusted instantly, turning into a sea of fire. The heat ripped through the ground, lting stone, dirt, and everything in its path.

Everything within a kiloter radius—gone.

Reduced to ash in an instant.

If Su Xiaobai had hesitated even a breath longer—If his domain hadn't activated—He would have been vaporized before he even knew what hit him.

He stared at the destruction.

Then let out a sharp, breathless laugh.

"Pfft…! HAHAHA!"

He bent over, hands on his knees, still coughing up that damn smoke.

"Holy fuck…! I almost got sent straight to the afterlife…"

He wiped his mouth, his grin curling with amusent.

"Just like Liu Zhenhai."

His laughter echoed.

"A dog's death!"

Just as Su Xiaobai was still laughing, coughing up smoke and grinning like a lunatic—A pair of cold, piercing eyes stared down at him from above.

Hidden in the vast, dark sky, watching with a gaze that carried surprise… and then killing intent.

"He survived?"

Then, as if the initial shock was insignificant, the tone hardened.

"Hmph. It doesn't matter. You won't live for long."

The words weren't spoken loudly, yet they echoed like an execution order.

Su Xiaobai's grin froze.

His body stiffened.

His head slowly lifted, eyes scanning the sky—And for the first ti tonight, a genuine chill crawled down his spine.

"Who?"

His instincts scread.

That white smoke—That wasn't Yue Xi's doing. Then… who the hell set him up?

And more importantly—Why were they hunting him?

On the sky, two sharp eyes glared at Su Xiaobai, the sage like appearance, with the fiery red robe, even if the face was blurry due to vast distance between them, Su Xiaobai could understand who it was.

"Fire Peak Lord Huo?"

Su Xiaobai's frown deepened, his body tensing as he took a slow step forward.

His voice was calm—but his mind wasn't.

"Why did you attack ?"

Even though Su Xiaobai always felt this old bastard had ulterior motives, he never thought he'd be so blatant about it.

No sneaky sches. No behind-the-scenes plotting.

Just a straight-up execution attempt.
