The Celestial Inscriber.

Su Xiaobai's reward from Emperor Tian Yu's cave.

The mont it appeared—The entire arena trembled.

"That's—"

Before anyone could react—

A green light flickered.

A tiny ethereal figure—

The sword spirit of Bai Yujian's White Jade Sword—suddenly appeared on its own, staring at the golden pen in absolute disbelief.

"How…?!"

Even a re artifact spirit should have recognized the terrifying power of the Celestial Inscriber—or so they thought. But Yingying's expression wasn't one of shock at witnessing a divine artifact.

No.

It was the look of soone who had just seen her dead husband rise from the coffin. Or a child whose long-lost father returned after twenty years carrying milk.

And then—

Before the stunned eyes of thousands—

It grew.

WHOOSH!

The pen expanded.

Ten ters.

Twenty ters.

Fifty ters—

Until it was as wide as ten towering pillars, its tip gleaming like the edge of a divine spear.

"BOOOOOOOOM!"

It slamd down.

A force of heavens' judgnt, its sheer impact cracking the entire battlefield.

Yue Xi's eyes widened.

Her instincts scread.

She leaped back—

But Su Xiaobai didn't let her escape.

"Where do you think you're going?"

The Celestial Inscriber shrunk in an instant, returning to the size of a small pillar, then—

SLAM!

It smashed directly into her!

Yue Xi's arms crossed, her swords flaring with defensive light—

CRACK!

She blocked it—barely.

Her feet dug into the ground, her entire body trembling under the force.

"AGH…!"

Blood dripped from the corner of her lips.

Su Xiaobai let out a low whistle. "Damn." He had honestly expected her to collapse on impact.

But no—

She held her ground.

Her knees bent, her arms shaking, her breath ragged—but she didn't fall.

"This woman…" Su Xiaobai's grin widened. "You're making want to go all out."

The Celestial Inscriber—

A weapon unlike any other. Unlike normal artifacts, soul weapons could be controlled like an extension of one's own body.

And this one… had more secrets to reveal.

Size manipulation was only the beginning. The longer the fight dragged, the more Su Xiaobai understood its potential.

A weapon that could grow as large as a mountain…Or shrink into a dagger sharp enough to carve through fate itself.

"Haaa.. haaa.."

Far beyond the blood-soaked arena, deep within the wilderness, a pale figure flickered through the mountains like a dying candle in the wind.

Liu Chenfu was running.

Through the forests, over the valleys, past abandoned spirit beast dens—his body moved on instinct, through the landscape like a phantom. His only thought was survival.

First, Liu Zhenhai had been exposed and slaughtered like a stray dog.

Second, Su Xiaobai had risen to untouchable heights, and with this montum, it was only a matter of ti before he sought revenge.

Liu Chenfu had no doubts—if he stayed, he would be next.

"Disappear... Vanish… Lay low for a few years, then return," he muttered under his breath, his voice hoarse from suppressed panic.

He moved faster.

But no matter how far he ran—

A cold, suffocating presence followed.

And then—

A voice, soft as drifting snow, yet carrying the weight of mountains.

"Old man, you're going the wrong way."

Liu Chenfu froze. His heart nearly seized, he twisted mid-air, his body tensing—And found himself face to face with a woman who should not be here.

Floating effortlessly above the treetops, her white robes fluttering like clouds in a midnight sky, stood Yue Xiuying.

The Celestial Peak Lord.

Her expression was calm, indifferent—but in her gaze was amusent, as if watching a trapped animal struggle in vain.

Liu Chenfu forced a stiff smile, though his fingers inched toward his spatial ring.

"Peak Lord Yue Xiuying," he said carefully, "I don't believe there's any grievance between us. Why are you here?"

Had she been watching him this whole ti?

Was she here to stop him? Kill him?

She rely tilted her head slightly, the moonlight casting an eerie glow over her delicate features.

"I said," she repeated slowly, as if speaking to a dull-witted child—"You're going the wrong way."

Liu Chenfu's muscles tensed, his heartbeat pounding against his ribs.

And then—

She raised a single, delicate finger and pointed eastward.

"Beast Peak."

Liu Chenfu's eyes flickered with confusion.

"What about it?"

Yue Xiuying's lips curled slightly, though it was impossible to tell if it was amusent or mockery.

"Go there," she said softly.

"Release the untad beasts inside. Let them tear through the arena. In that chaos, you'll have enough ti to escape."

Liu Chenfu's pupils shrank.

Was she serious?

This had to be a trap.

His mind shook, calculating every possible scenario.

"Escape? Who's running away?" he scoffed, trying to maintain his composure.

But Yue Xiuying simply laughed softly.A light chuckle, yet it sent a crawling dread down his spine.

"Then stay and get caught," she said lightly.

And then—She moved.

For the first ti since she appeared, she descended slowly, her figure drifting like a falling petal, yet her presence pressing down like an avalanche.

Liu Chenfu's breath stilled.

Her movents were not towards him.

She was blocking soone else.

SWOOSH!

A golden net of divine light shot through the darkness, spiraling toward Liu Chenfu like an unbreakable cage—

But before it could reach him—

BOOM!

Yue Xiuying flicked her sleeve.

An invisible wave of celestial force crashed into the golden net, sending it off-course, colliding into the trees below and reducing them to dust.

Liu Chenfu's mind went blank.

What…?

Before he could even comprehend the situation—

A deep chuckle echoed through the night.

"Well, well, well…"

From the shadows erged a towering figure, his robe adorned with royal purple embroidery, his aura like an unshaken mountain, heavy and suffocating.

Xu Tianran.

Sect Alchemist. Supre Hunter. A walking death sentence.

His dark eyes glinted with amusent as he gazed at Yue Xiuying, his posture relaxed, yet filled with restrained violence.

"Buying ti for a traitor?" he mused, cracking his knuckles. "Now, that's unexpected."

He lifted a hand, his fingers twitching with suppressed force.

"One blow should be enough," he said casually, and without hesitation—

He struck.

BOOOOOOM!

The space shattered from the sheer force, golden light bursting forth like a descending divine hamr—

But then—

CLASH!

Yue Xiuying's palm t his fist.

And for the first ti, Xu Tianran's expression changed.

His feet skidded back in midair, his breath caught between surprise and amusent.

"…Oh?"

A single word, his wrist rolled lazily, fingers flexing as if testing, "So you weren't all bark after all."

His gaze sharpened, battle intent surging like a tide beneath a crimson moon.

"What's your ga, Yue Xiuying? I never thought anyone could slip past my eyes… but it seems this old man was blind. A thousand years, and not once did I see through your true self. Your strength, your motives—you fooled everyone."

Yue Xiuying smiled, slow and knowing. "Oh? And tell , Xu Tianran… am I the only one who wears a mask?"
