The car quickly arrived at the Li Family mansion; the courtyard was pitch black and very quiet.
Li Siru bent down, her head lowered, as she sneaked in. Just as she was about to rush to her own room, Lu Beiyao grabbed the back of her collar, "Everyone’s asleep, are you sneaking back to your own ho like a thief?"
"Shh! Keep your voice down, don’t wake everyone up! And, you should hurry back to your room too, we can’t let anyone catch us together." She whispered very quietly.
"What’s the matter with being with ?" Lu Beiyao seed completely unconcerned.
"Didn’t I tell you to keep your voice down? If you wake soone up, we’ll really be thieves!" She pushed Lu Beiyao’s hand, "Alright, let’s go back to our rooms?"
"You still haven’t told , what’s wrong with being with ?"
"I’ll tell, I’ll tell!" She signaled him to let go, but Lu Beiyao pretended not to see in the dark, unmoved.
Li Siru completely surrendered, "During the days you’re a guest at our house, Grandpa doesn’t want to appear in front of you, afraid I’ll embarrass my sister."
Lu Beiyao raised an eyebrow slightly, so that’s why Mr. Li got so angry when he saw them together this morning?
"So, about my work at YT International Hotel, let’s not tell Grandpa for now, what if he doesn’t let go?" It’s better to be cautious, what if Grandpa is afraid she’ll ss up?
Lu Beiyao, holding her collar, asked, "So you have to sneak around for your job at YT too, and you won’t et again?"
"In the Li Family, it’s better if we keep our distance!" She added another line, "At the hotel, you’re also my big boss."
Lu Beiyao pulled her directly into his arms, "You not only owe money, but also a favor. Now you’re asking to keep my distance, the second miss of the Li Family is really unreasonable?"
"Don’t, such a loud voice!"
His voice, tinged with anger, grew louder. Li Siru hurriedly covered his mouth, but the corridor’s motion-sensor lights still ca on.
"We’re done for!" Li Siru exclaid with her eyes closed.
"Sisi, what are you two doing here?" Li ngru asked, snapping Li Siru back to reality, and she quickly removed her hand from Lu Beiyao’s lips.
Her palm seed to still feel the warmth from his lips; with his slight movent, his thin lips tickled her palm twice.
Li Siru only felt her palm burning, and she put her hand behind her back, looking at Li ngru standing in front of her, like a child caught making a mistake.
Lu Beiyao also quickly released her collar when she withdrew her hand.
He stood casually to the side, lightly licking his lips, and said nothing.
Li ngru instinctively clutched the hem of her clothes and asked again, "Why are you up so late, did you go out?"
She scrutinized them both, and Li Siru quickly shook her head, "No..."
"Hmm!" Lu Beiyao said blandly, "I went back to the hotel to handle so things."
Li Siru glanced at him sideways, what is he doing?
"Well, sister, I didn’t go out, I just couldn’t sleep and went for a stroll, and unexpectedly ran into sis, and Mr. Lu just happened to co back, so I opened a door for him, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to get in."
What a bold, offhand lie!
Lu Beiyao glanced sideways at her, just as he was about to speak, Li Siru quickly said, "Sister, why are you still up so late?"
Li ngru looked down and chuckled, "Was chatting with cousin for a while, couldn’t sleep." She looked at Lu Beiyao, "You didn’t ntion going back to the hotel to handle things, I ssaged you but you didn’t reply. I heard the sound of a car outside, thought it might be you, ca to open the door, luckily it was. But fortunately, you bumped into Sisi again."
Li Siru smiled, "Coincidence, pure coincidence! Sister, I’ll head back to my room, you two chat slowly!"
Li Siru finished speaking and bolted!
