"Where’s all this nonsense coming from!" He stretched out his small hand, kissed Lu Beichen’s face, and then ran away.
With his head down and lips pouting, his eyes still exuded sweetness, but he managed to hold it in.
Lu Beichen smiled lightly, pretending nothing happened, and continued to look at the docunt.
"Alright, alright, let’s redo!" He went back to watch, "Why is it another girl? This ti I choose truth!"
He pouted in grievance, frowned, and glanced at Lu Beichen, unwilling to kiss him again!
"Truth, huh!" Ji Niandong bent down and lifted him to sit beside her, "If it’s truth, Sister Tongtong will ask the question, okay?"
"Ask away!" His face was still puffed up.
"You just t and already like Sister Tongtong so much. Sister Tongtong can see you obviously like your dad. Why pretend not to like him?" Ji Niandong seriously asked.
"I’m not pretending not to like him; I just don’t like him!" Lu Sinian slipped off the stool, "Sister Tongtong, you’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?"
"How could I be?" Ji Niandong quickly squatted down to comfort him, "We’re just playing a ga. Didn’t I follow your rules after I lost? We’ve just t, so I can only ask about your dad!"
"I’m not playing anymore!" He turned away, clearly upset.

Ji Niandong indeed felt sowhat at a loss, maybe too eager, not considering a child’s capacity for understanding.

"I never asked you to like !" He said indifferently, seemingly unconcerned, making Lu Sinian pout even more fiercely.
Lu Beichen directly ignored him, placed one hand on Ji Niandong’s shoulder, "It’s getting late, you’ve been busy all day and should take a rest. You’ve been caught up with him without a mont to yourself!"
Ji Niandong shook her head, "I’m fine, really good!"
She rubbed the child’s hair behind her. The soft short hair was extrely comforting to touch.
"Alright, Lu Sinian, it’s almost ti to sleep, hurry and get ready for a bath!" Lu Beichen turned back to the sofa.
"Sister Tongtong, let’s play again tomorrow!" Lu Sinian emphasized, wriggled his little behind towards the sofa, and said to Lu Beichen, "Mr. Lu, give a bath!"
His tone wasn’t great. Lu Beichen, crossing his legs, looked at the docunt in his hand, speaking slowly, "Did Dad ever tell you that when asking others for help, you should learn to be polite and courteous?"
"If you don’t mind washing myself not clean, I don’t need help!" He retorted.
Lu Beichen put down the docunt, looked at him, with a faint smile on his face, "So?"
Lu Sinian knew his look ant he was angry, but he was reluctant to yield, standing there silent.
Ji Niandong sensed the heavy atmosphere again, hurried over saying, "Nian Nian, how about Sister Tongtong helps you with your bath?"
"No need, no need, you’re a girl!" He waved his hand repeatedly, feeling both shy and embarrassed, retreated to Lu Beichen’s side, pulled his arm, "Mr. Lu, please help with the bath, I can’t wash clean myself!"
