Ji Niandong awoke with a start. She was trapped in a nightmare, feeling many scattered fragnts drifting in her mind, yet she couldn’t piece them together.
Uncomfortable, scared, uneasy... the pain made her feel like she was about to be devoured by the nightmare!
The nightmare of that initial violation had already tornted her for a long ti, and now the nightmare was becoming more intense. Could this be the part of her mory she lost back then? But she couldn’t recall it, couldn’t piece it together!
Ji Niandong slowly sat up and hamred her own head; it was just pain, nothing but pain!
Where is she?
Ji Niandong looked around. The room was large and beautiful, with décor and furnishings that were very retro, like things that were popular more than twenty years ago.
She slowly got out of bed, feeling her head getting heavy... Right, wasn’t that woman going to have a talk with her? Where is she? It felt like that mont she said many words, but she couldn’t hear a single one clearly!
She quickly walked to the door, ready to open it, only to find it had been locked from the outside!
Ji Niandong beca a bit more awake. What was going on?!
"Is anyone there? Why are you locking up? Let out!" She desperately tugged at the door handle, frantically pounding on the door, becoming increasingly restless and uneasy.
Her head hurt more and more, growing heavier, as if she couldn’t catch her breath. Why were they locking her up? Don’t lock her up!
"Stay there obediently!"
Who was that? Who was speaking? Ji Niandong felt the entire room spinning, dizzy to the point where she could barely stand!
"Open the door, open the door now!" She slamd the door with all her might; the next second, the door was suddenly pulled open, and Ji Niandong staggered and stumbled into the arms of the person who had co.
Without looking, she pushed the person away in front of her and then dashed out of the room, clutching the outside railing, gasping desperately for air.
"What’s going on?" Tong Songbai asked coldly.
"I don’t know, sir. We heard Miss Ji pounding on the door and imdiately notified you!" The servant beside him replied.
Tong Songbai watched her struggling to catch her breath, feeling a mont of distraction, "Afraid of being locked up?" he said lightly, "Your mother was so afraid too back then."
Ji Niandong suddenly looked up at him, the discomfort in her heart not yet dispersed.
"This is the room your mother lived in from childhood to adulthood, what’s wrong? Don’t you like it?" Tong Songbai turned and walked inside. The servant went over to support Ji Niandong, but Ji Niandong instinctively dodged, yet was still held and walked back inside with Tong Songbai.
"The furnishings in this room were arranged by your mother herself back then and haven’t changed in all these years. Now, this room, from now on, is yours!"
Tong Songbai had a hint of gentleness on his face, while still serious, it wasn’t to the point of being oppressive, "Can I call you ’Nian Nian’? I prefer this kind of address!"
Ji Niandong finally ca back to her senses, taking a deep breath, "Sir, what exactly do you want? Where is she?"
"You an your mother?" Tong Songbai asked in return, "I told her if she ever wanted to co here to see you or take you away, she could co at any ti! However, I think she probably won’t co. As for what I want to do..."
Tong Songbai turned to look at her, and the servant beside him sensibly left together, then closed the door. The sound of the door closing struck Ji Niandong’s heart like a sudden blow.
She beca a little flustered again. Tong Songbai asked lightly, "Over these years, how did Guo Qiang raise you to be so timid?"
"You know my dad?" Ji Niandong asked in surprise. Clearly, she wasn’t such a timid person, it was just a kind of internal resistance.
