Lu Sinian sat in the passenger seat, sulking as usual, and when Lu Beichen helped him with the seatbelt, he turned his face away without looking at him.
Lu Beichen was already accustod to his son’s moods, although lately Lu Sinian had been performing really well. But this behavior was not uncommon, so he simply ignored him, letting him stew in his own frustration.
The two remained in a stalemate for a long ti, and just as the car was about to reach ho, Little Bun couldn’t hold back anymore and asked, "You went to pick up Sister Xiyao just to get sothing?"
"You were the one who helped relay the ssage for to go and get it," he stated matter-of-factly.
Little Bun was grinding his teeth in anger, "Since you went, why didn’t you stay a little longer?"
"Why stay? Uncle Ning is there to take care of her," Lu Beichen answered calmly.
Little Bun glared at him directly, "Why did you want to marry her off to Uncle Ning? I don’t think Uncle Ning likes her at all."
Lu Beichen glanced at him, "What do kids know about liking or not liking soone."
"I just feel that way," Little Bun said with certainty.
"Then do you feel that I like soone else?" Lu Beichen asked back, and Little Bun was at a loss for words.
Anyone could see clearly that he liked Sister Tongtong.
"Sister Xiyao is so nice, why don’t you like her?" Little Bun seed to be talking to himself, with a bit of a sullen mood. Then he sighed, turned his head, and looked at the box in the car, "What did Sister Xiyao give you? I want to see."
"This is a wedding gift for and your Sister Tongtong," Lu Beichen emphasized, aning there’s no need for you to see it.
Little Bun felt that his dad was really being unlikable again.
"Of course, if you don’t tell your Sister Tongtong that soone gave us a wedding gift, I don’t mind letting you take a look." Lu Beichen seed to be negotiating with him.
His little eyebrows raised slightly, "Why can’t I tell Sister Tongtong? Is it because it was given by Sister Xiyao?"
"Just consider it like that!"
Little Bun frowned, finding the adult world complicated and won’s thoughts even harder to understand, "Fine, I won’t say anything, just let take a look."
Lu Beichen handed over the box, and Little Bun excitedly opened it, "Huh, why is it a broken bracelet? It’s broken, how can you wear it? Did you break it accidentally?"
Lu Beichen’s brow furrowed, as if he realized sothing, he took the bracelet and said plainly, "Since it’s broken, it’s even less necessary to tell your Sister Tongtong."

She jumped up from the sofa and imdiately opened WeChat to send Lu Beichen a ssage, "Husband, what are you doing right now?"
Lu Beichen received this ssage while driving, knowing that the little woman had been quite bored at ho recently, and occasionally would send him a WeChat asking if he was busy.
So he replied while driving with one hand, "On the way ho."
Ji Niandong pursed her lips and asked again, "Not at work?"
"Taking Nian Nian ho to see grandpa and grandma, lately Dad has been wanting to see his grandson," Lu Beichen sent, then turned to his son beside him and said, "Rember today we went ho to see grandpa and grandma; we can’t let your Sister Tongtong know we went to pick Xi Yao up from the hospital."
"I know. That’s why I got up so early," Little Bun glanced at him, "It’s all your fault for being a playboy, making Sister Tongtong and Sister Xiyao upset."
"Don’t talk nonsense," Lu Beichen replied coldly.
