"What are you doing!" She protested in a coquettish voice.
Lu Beichen lowered his head and chuckled, "You prepared the bathwater for , isn’t it for a playful couple’s bath together?"
"No way!" Ji Niandong puffed her cheeks while lowering her head, a little gesture that Lu Beichen found adorably silly.
As he was pondering, the little woman was already pulling him toward the bathtub. Lu Beichen lost his balance for a mont and fell right on top of her, causing water to splash everywhere.
Her clothes instantly got soaked, her whole body imrsed in the water, shimring as if surrounded by light.
Lu Beichen reached out and held her waist, his voice hoarse as he said, "Mrs. Lu has been so enthusiastic lately, are you trying to squeeze the energy out of an older man?"
She hooked her arms around his neck and whispered, "I rember my husband once said that older n have even more energy!"
Ji Niandong felt that staying at ho too long would really make one beco lazy, since even walking was sothing taken care of in his embrace.
After drying her hair, he even made her a cup of milk to help her sleep.
This life of having a wife to wait on him every day, to cuddle with while sleeping, was truly enjoyable. To the point where Lu Beichen rembered he seed to have promised his son sothing, but also felt like there was no such thing, he really seed to be becoming a muddle-headed monarch.
Waking up the next morning, the little woman was still sound asleep. After giving her a kiss, he got up to wash up and go out.
As he stepped out of the bedroom, Little Bun eagerly ran over. Lu Beichen was a bit surprised, "Why are you up so early? Aren’t you usually too lazy to get up for school?"
"It’s the weekend today!" Little Bun puffed his cheeks, "Don’t you rember the promise you made to ?"
"What promise?" Lu Beichen asked as he approached the fridge to get sothing for breakfast.
"I knew you’d forget, today Sister Xiyao is being discharged from the hospital!" Little Bun glared at him, "She’s so pitiful, and you don’t rember at all."
Lu Beichen’s expression changed slightly, "She will naturally have Uncle Ning to pick her up when she’s discharged, you don’t need to worry about this much."
"But you promised that since I’ve been behaved lately, you’d agree to sothing for !"
"But not this!" Lu Beichen refused. "Since it’s the weekend, stay ho and keep Sister Tongtong company."
He really wasn’t going!
Lu Sinian frowned, "Sister Xiyao finally gets discharged, doesn’t she? Sister Tongtong I can keep company tomorrow, or later! Besides, Sister Xiyao said she has sothing to give you, she says it’s a wedding gift from her mom for you and Sister Tongtong, you can’t have soone send you a wedding gift and have receive it on your behalf, right?"
Lu Beichen paused, suddenly recalling that the day Gu Xiyao returned, she did ntion her mother had sothing to give to Tongtong.
He pondered for a mont, then replied, "Then hurry up and brush your teeth and wash your face. We’ll go now, but don’t tell Sister Tongtong."
"Got it! I’ve been ready for a long ti, I’m good to go anyti!"
Lu Beichen finally noticed his son had indeed changed his clothes, frowned slightly, and put down what he was holding.
