Ji Niandong slightly lowered her head, then looked up and smiled at him, "Of course I have to say it, my husband loves so much, I must say it!"
Lu Beichen let out an almost inaudible sigh, "As long as Mrs. Lu is happy!"

"Not telling you!" She turned around and slipped into the bed. Then lay on her side facing away.
Lu Beichen watched her curl up in the bed, a small bundle, and couldn’t help but smile and shake his head. He turned off the light and slipped in as well.
As he reached out to wrap his arm around the small woman’s waist, he felt her noticeably tremble. Lu Beichen whispered in her ear, "You’re not feeling well today, I won’t bother you. Goodnight, Mrs. Lu!"
He held her a bit tighter in his arms before finally slowly falling asleep.
The night seed exceptionally quiet, exceptionally dark. Hearing the breathing behind her gradually even out, Ji Niandong slowly opened her eyes, and icy tears flowed down the corners of her eyes.

Ji Niandong watched his little back, her smile slightly stiffening.
When the al was ready and the two of them sat down at the table, Little Bun face took one bite and praised, "Sister Tongtong’s cooking is still the best, haven’t had it in a long ti. Dad obviously isn’t that good at cooking, yet he insists on showing off every day."
Ji Niandong chuckled, "If you say that, your dad will be sad!"
Little Bun face stuck out his tongue, feeling proud.
The two got along very well, and Ji Niandong hesitated for a mont before asking, "Nian Nian, you know that Sister Tongtong loves you very much, right?"
It’s not just liking, but love!
Hearing her say this out of the blue, Lu Sinian’s little face blushed, then he awkwardly asked, "Sister Tongtong, why are you saying this all of a sudden?"
