When Ji Niandong woke up, she found herself sleeping in Lu Beichen’s arms. She thought she was dreaming and instinctively retreated a bit.
Lu Beichen was awakened by her movent. He opened his eyes slightly and asked in a hoarse voice, "Awake?"
He continued to hold her waist without letting go. The warm touch made Ji Niandong realize this wasn’t a dream. How was he here?
Rembering that she drove him out of the room yesterday, she felt a vague sense of guilt and embarrassnt, unsure of what to say.
Lu Beichen pulled her into his embrace, "It’s cold, snuggle up for warmth."
"Husband, when did you co over to sleep?" she asked quietly, feeling imnsely guilty.
Lu Beichen rested his chin on her head and replied, "Ca over in the middle of the night. Couldn’t sleep without my wife next to ."
He ca over in the middle of the night to check on her. She must have cried herself to sleep, just lying on top of the blanket with tear marks still on her face. If he hadn’t co, she might have caught a cold.
Lu Beichen pulled her into the bed, and he got in as well. Fortunately, the little woman instinctively snuggled into his arms quite naturally.
Hearing him say this, Ji Niandong hugged him and softly said, "Husband, I’m sorry about yesterday."
"It’s already today, why bring up yesterday? It was my fault for not being good enough, which led you to overthink." He bent down to give her a peck, "I’ll definitely do better in the future."
His words reassured her, and he didn’t bla her at all. Ji Niandong smiled and leaned in to give him a peck, "Husband~"
She sweetly called out, her nasal voice carried a tone of coquettishness that tickled Beichen’s heart.
Lu Beichen flipped over, pressing her beneath him, his dark eyes gleaming with a dazzling light, "Mrs. Lu, your husband is here."
He lowered his head to kiss her, his hand sliding up her thigh, effortlessly pushing her nightgown up to her neck and finally pulling away the only layer of covering.
As he kissed her, his hands road all over her, quickly heightening the passion, then wrapped one arm around her while reaching to open the drawer with the other.
The sound was particularly distinct, Ji Niandong opened her eyes and grabbed his hand, "What are you doing?"
"Taking precautions to avoid getting kicked off the bed," he said, clearly joking in a teasingly lighthearted tone.
Ji Niandong beca more serious, "There’s no need, husband. Last night, I thought about it for a long ti by myself. Although I initially wanted a child because I minded Gu Xiyao, but... mm."
He must have quickly put it on, unable to hold back as he pushed in.
This sudden burst of passion overwheld Ji Niandong. All the words she wanted to say were swallowed in her throat as she allowed him to guide her through the motions.
"Husband, I..." As soon as she opened her mouth, he captured her again with his wandering hands, not giving an inch.

Ji Niandong lay in bed, panting heavily, glancing at the box beside her. Several pieces were used up.
"Mrs. Lu, I’m the one doing the hard work. Why are you so tired?" Lu Beichen chuckled, "Looking at like that, still not satisfied?"
Before she could react, he held her across in his arms, and instinctively she wrapped her arms around his neck, "No, not again!"
Lu Beichen didn’t say a word, just chuckled and carried her to the bathroom, "The couple’s bath we missed last night, we’ll make up for it this morning."
He closed the bathroom door with his foot and turned to press her against it, starting again!
