Ji Niandong walked out in a daze. There were many people auditioning here, and she wasn’t the only one walking out like this, so no one paid any attention to her.
Before she squeezed through the crowd, soone gently tapped her on the back. Ji Niandong turned around to see a girl with wide, innocent eyes looking at her, then excitedly grabbing her hand, "Tongtong, is it really you? I thought I saw wrong. You’re also here to audition?"
The girl had long hair, was tall, and looked the part of a well-behaved girl with a refined, artistic deanor.
Ji Niandong imdiately recognized her, "Zhou Yiqing? Qingqing?"
"You still rember !" Zhou Yiqing looked moved and excited, glanced to the side, and pulled her to a deserted window ledge, "Tongtong, I haven’t seen you for five years. Sister Judy said you went to France, when did you co back? Why did you break off contact with us after going abroad?!"
"I didn’t go abroad!" Ji Niandong quickly explained, with a bit of a sigh, "I had a car accident five years ago and have been recovering at ho. Eventually, I just stayed at ho."
"You had a car accident?!" Zhou Yiqing looked her over, "Are you alright now? Sister Judy lied to us that you went abroad. They also said you hit it big and didn’t care about us. I knew you wouldn’t do that. You’ve had such a hard ti, why didn’t you tell us?"
As Zhou Yiqing spoke, her eyes turned red.
Zhou Yiqing was a friend she t five years ago during the Banana Entertainnt new star selection, and Judy was the agent who later beca thoroughly disappointed in her.
Later, she was simply disappointed in herself too and bid farewell to the entertainnt industry, so she didn’t keep in contact with them.
Ji Niandong sighed and patted Zhou Yiqing’s arm, "Don’t be sad, what’s past is past. Judy probably didn’t want you guys worrying about , which is why she said I went abroad!" She changed the subject and asked, "Are you still with Banana Entertainnt? Are you with Judy?"
"Yes!" Zhou Yiqing nodded, "Previously, I wanted to ask Shen Congjun about you, but Linda and Judy are now at each other’s throats, and our artists generally don’t talk much."
She grabbed Ji Niandong’s arm and asked, "Tongtong, you’re here to audition, right? Which company are you with now?"
"I... I’ve stayed ho for five years, so I’m clueless about everything. I think I ssed up the audition just now and don’t know what to do now!" She felt quite dejected and upset.
Zhou Yiqing’s expression changed, and she beca anxious, "You ssed up, then I’m in worse trouble! I was auditioning secretly from Sister Judy! You know what? Sister Judy is now the star agent at Banana Entertainnt, and among the people she’s taken on, I’m the worst. I’m still playing so crappy roles; I feel like Sister Judy doesn’t want to manage anymore, so I snuck out to audition, hoping for so luck."
"Don’t say that!" Ji Niandong patiently comforted her, "You’ve learned a lot from Judy over ti. You’ll definitely be fine!"
"Sister Judy says my acting is terrible and told to enroll in a class!" Zhou Yiqing sighed, her furrowed brows slightly relaxing, "Tongtong, let’s exchange contact info. After this audition, I need to hurry back to avoid Judy noticing. Next ti, I’ll set a date so we can have a good catch-up."
"Sure!" Ji Niandong took out her phone for her, and they exchanged numbers before reluctantly
