"After the incident yesterday, I gave her a stern reprimand, and Sister Ada said I have the right to fire her!" Lazy Cat said while rolling his eyes at Shen Congling.
Shen Congling angrily shouted, "You can leave now!"
"Co over and take Sister Tong’s bags!" Lazy Cat continued to order.
Shen Congling pouted, picked up Ji Niandong’s two bags, and walked out.
Once in the car, she grabbed Ji Niandong and asked, "Sister Tongtong, what exactly happened between you and my brother last night?"
Ji Niandong closed her eyes, not wanting to bring up the matter again.
"Will the company punish my brother?"
"Can’t you see Sister Tong is resting?" Lazy Cat reminded her.
"Shut up, it’s already after work hours, you have no right to boss around!" She snapped at Lazy Cat and then quietly said to Ji Niandong, "Sister Tongtong, I really don’t even want to talk about my brother! When I get back, I’ll definitely criticize him. This ti you didn’t hold it against him, showing your generosity, but I think he really doesn’t want to stay in the entertainnt industry anymore!"
"Lingling, don’t say any more, I want to rest for a bit!" Ji Niandong understood her well.
Shen Congling pressed her lips together and whispered, "After all, he is my brother, I don’t want anything bad to happen to him!"
"Then you should really go back and talk so sense into him; talking to won’t help. Lingling, I’m also your sister!"
After she said that last sentence, Shen Congling’s eyes reddened, and she sat quietly without speaking further.
The car soon arrived at New City Villa, and as soon as they opened the entrance door, Lu Sinian rushed out, his face full of excitent.
"Sister Tongtong, you’re finally back. I waited for you so long last night and you didn’t co back. Mr. Lu didn’t co ho either. Did he take you away to keep you from seeing ?" He looked up at her with his chubby face, following her as he spoke.
Ji Niandong changed her shoes and hugged him as they went inside, "Didn’t Sister Tongtong tell you she was filming last night? Did you have dinner?"
"Sister Zhou ca to make dinner for ! There’s still a lot left. Sister Tongtong, did you eat? Do you want so? It’s really good!" He looked at her with expectant little eyes.
Ji Niandong asked, "Were you ho alone? Didn’t your dad co back?"
"No!" Lu Sinian’s little face showed so displeasure, "Sister Tongtong, isn’t it enough for you to have dinner with ? Why are you looking for Mr. Lu?"
"I’m just asking, not looking for him!" Ji Niandong smiled softly, "Co on, have dinner with Sister Tongtong!"
"Alright!" He followed her, hopping to the dining table.
Even though only Lu Sinian was ho, Sister Zhou prepared food for all three of them. The dishes on the table were still warm. They didn’t get back too early but not too late either. Ji Niandong served herself a bowl of rice and started eating.
She occasionally glanced at her phone on the table.
"Sister Tongtong, don’t you like the food Sister Zhou made?" The child keenly noticed her absent-mindedness.
Ji Niandong shook her head, took a couple of big bites, but found it a bit tasteless. However, she smiled at the chubby face in front of her.
"Sister Tongtong, is filming really tiring? Would you like to take next ti? I can give you a leg massage!"
He clenched his fist earnestly as he spoke, making Ji Niandong couldn’t help but laugh, "How’s your class going?"
"Mr. Lu said I can stop once I pass the exams. I’m almost done!" He wobbled his head, showing so pride.
"Why?"
"Playing the piano is such a small thing; it’s no trouble for at all!" The child spread his hands, looking very smug.
"Really? Want to compete with Sister Tongtong?" Ji Niandong raised an eyebrow and asked.
Lu Sinian looked thrilled, "Sister Tongtong, you can play the piano too?!"
