When Lu Sinian finished his shower in the evening, he sohow found a fairy tale book, hugged it in his arms, and climbed directly onto Ji Niandong’s bed.
Seeing this, Lu Beichen said as he walked in, "Lu Sinian, you’re not young anymore. You should start sleeping by yourself!"
He was originally thinking about how to move back in and share a room with Ji Niandong, but his son’s plan seed to be to monopolize her every day.
Ji Niandong was in the shower and, hearing the commotion outside, turned off the showerhead, feeling sowhat at a loss. She quickly turned the water on full blast so she couldn’t hear the noise outside, reassuring herself that they couldn’t hear her either.
"I can’t sleep. I want Sister Tongtong to tell a story!" Lu Sinian burrowed under the covers, clearly intent on camping out here.
Lu Beichen picked up the fairy tale book and flipped through it, "I rember this is sothing you bought when you were two. You said such childish things weren’t suitable for you!"
"I think it’s quite interesting now!" he replied with a shaless air.
Lu Beichen pressed his eyebrows, suddenly feeling that if he kept this kid at ho, he’d never get any peace.
He sat at the edge of the bed and gently said, "If you go back to your own room and sleep quietly every day, you can have a nice relationship with your Sister Tongtong. Otherwise, I’ve heard that little girl is still in France. Don’t you think she’s your mom? I could send you over there so you can spend so quality ti together. Of course, if she’s willing!"
This was a threat!
Lu Sinian would never believe he would really let them reunite.
But now, he had no way to confront this Great Demon!
After thinking it over, he suddenly burst into loud sobs, as if he’d been beaten.
Before Lu Beichen could stop him, Ji Niandong ca running out, wrapped in a robe. Lu Sinian quickly scrambled off the bed and rushed to hug her.
Her hair was wet, still dripping, and her face was pure and white, flushed slightly red from the steam. Clearly, she had rushed out, her lips opening and closing to catch her breath. Lu Beichen’s heart tensed at the thought of her cute appearance in a short skirt.
He resisted the urge to throw his son out, turned his face away, and didn’t look at her.
Ji Niandong gently patted Lu Sinian’s back and softly asked, "What’s wrong?"
"Sister Tongtong, I want to sleep with you and have you tell a story, but the Great Demon won’t let and even said he would send away!" Lu Sinian began to complain.
"Send you away? To where?" Ji Niandong glanced at Lu Beichen, who remained sitting, elegant and composed, as if nothing had happened.
"To Paris! He said my mom is there, but he’s lying!" Lu Sinian cried even harder, with snot running down. When Ji Niandong wasn’t looking, he hurriedly wiped it on her bathrobe.
Paris?
Ji Niandong suddenly recalled that when she first t Lu Beichen, he had ntioned Paris when he rescued her and brought her ho.
She asked quietly, "Nian Nian, have you ever seen your mom?"
He shook his head, "The Great Demon won’t let us et!"
Wasn’t it said outside that Lu Sinian’s mom was Gu Xiyao, and they t occasionally? What’s true and what’s false? Who really is Lu Sinian’s mom?
Ji Niandong shook her head. Why care so much? When she married him, she already knew he had a son with another woman. Why worry about it?
"Your dad was just joking with you, probably thinks you’re grown up and should be a little more independent!" Ji Niandong comforted him.
"That’s right! If you really want to hear a story, I can tell you one!" Lu Beichen finally looked at them, speaking calmly.
