In short, he charged wherever the demons were thinnest, staying as far away as possible from high-ranking demons and Demon Lords.

The general direction was toward the devil's defensive line.

"Fight!!!" Lying atop the Soul Furnace, David's claws ceaselessly scraped ear-piercing sparks across the battlefield of Avernus.

Weapons from the lower planes, so exquisite and others crude, lay scattered nearby. They began to lt together with the viscous blood, finally coalescing under David's twin claws. Two Abyssal Iron Greatswords, each four ters long, took shape, and he abruptly rose to his feet.

Steering a chariot already caked with a layer of blood scabs and harnessing its imnse inertial force, he was like Lü Bu from 'Three Kingdoms Unmatched' riding Red Hare with his ultimate skill active. One sweep of his sword was like a scythe through a neat field of leeks; he was invincible.

This air of [Arrogance], a deanor that treated the bloody battle as insignificant, imdiately caught the attention of Dagos, known by the moniker 'Pride and Contempt.'

"Which devil general commands such a fierce warrior, so brave and valiant?"

So much so that the other dragons, also fighting desperately, paled in comparison.

Seeing an Abyssal Demon charging madly toward the train, White Dragon Mofei nearly wet himself for the second ti. He unleashed a blast of Frost Dragon's Breath that, like a premature discharge, splattered all over his own face.

"If your Dragon Breath is weak, don't spew it straight ahead, idiot!" Alfonse, who was also hit, cursed. He and his Black Dragon sister, Viola, then continued to spew acid breath to either side.

Under the protection of her father, Attilicia, the young dragoness Tania conserved her Magic Power, using precisely aid spells to help David deal with demons he couldn't attend to.

At this mont, the Succubus Yolanda, the Drow Hiatt, and the Barbarian Rosinde, who excelled only at lee combat, found themselves in an awkward position. They could only deal with the vulture-headed Flomo demons that had climbed onto the train or were diving at them.

But soon, Dagos realized sothing was amiss. Judging by their route, they weren't there to join the battle at all but were rely using the Blood War battlefield as a thoroughfare, attempting to charge through the temporary defensive line constructed by his own troops. He was instantly consud by rage and ordered in a deep voice, "Red Dragon warrior intruding upon the Blood War battlefield! In the na of Dagos, Commander of the Sixth Legion of Barto Hell and one of the Eight Devil Commanders of Hell, I requisition your Soul Train! I command you to imdiately leave my defensive line and charge northeast! Detonate the Soul Train and destroy the tunnel from which the Abyssal Demons are swarming! Once this is done, by my Authority as a Devil Commander, I shall elevate your soul and transform you into a Pit Fiend!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the battlefield fell montarily silent. All the devils cast incredulous, envious, and jealous glances.

A Pit Fiend!

That was theoretically the ultimate form any devil could aspire to!

And such a teoric opportunity had chanced upon a Dragon whelp?

However, completing that unbelievable mission was as difficult as scaling the heavens.

Yet David rely gave this so-called Devil Commander a look one might give an idiot and continued resolutely charging toward the devil's defensive line.

If I don't get out of here, I'm going to die! Am I stupid, or just plain dumb, to listen to him at a ti like this?

This disregard, bordering on [Arrogance], instantly brought Dagos's rage to a boiling point.

"Charging the Devil Army's defensive line is a death sentence."

As the Soul Train drew ever closer, Dagos resolutely ordered, "Target, the Soul Train! Magic salvo!

"Fire!"

In an instant, a multitude of hellish, destructive spells rained down on the Soul Train carrying David and his allies.

Under the watchful eyes of all devils and demons, the Red Dragon raised his head to face the sky full of spells, clenching his dragon claws.

As David made this gesture, all the spells fired at them in a volley astonishingly dissipated in an invisible ripple, and the surrounding demons were flung in all directions like scattered fireworks.

Ninth-level Force Magic—[Shackle Release Spell].

Seeing that the devil commander was about to order another attack, David gave him a profound look, then yanked the control lever, turning the train ninety degrees.

"Dagos, right? You damn well wait for !"

[Wrath]

Dagos was sowhat amused watching the foolish Red Dragon move away from the defensive line, but gradually, his smile faded.

Because the dragon was not heading northeast.

It was speeding due east.

Toward the eastern horizon.

There lay the coursing Styx River.
