Over the past six months, David had acquired an additional title out of thin air in most of Skanis's Northland: 'Friend of the She-Dragons'.

In fact, if David were to join forces with his Silver Dragon father, Attilicia, to develop a 'Dragon Protector Suit'—a project not very difficult to accomplish—he might be promoted by the she-dragons directly from 'Friend of the She-Dragons' to an absurd title like 'Shield of the She-Dragons'.

But if he really dared to take such a bold risk, he would probably be snatched up by Tiamat and taken to Barto Hell to beco a literal lantern in the sky before any custors could co knocking.

As a result, David had imdiately sealed away that dangerous money-making idea as soon as it had popped into his head.

However, nearing the end of his tour visiting neighbors and preparing to return with the thirteen varicolored Dragon Whelps, David noticed that the Green Dragon beside him seed hesitant as they passed through an exceptionally dense forest.

The forest before them was extraordinarily dense, with a mutated World Tree sapling rising over a thousand ters at its center. Having visited so many Dragon Nests already, David could tell at a glance that this was likely another Green Dragon Nest.

Yet Nifadora, who had been leading them on this path, oddly remained silent about its existence.

If I can't guess the reason by now, I might as well find a vine on a tree and hang myself, David thought. So, with genuine curiosity, he asked, "Is this your holand, Nifadora?"

At his words, Nifadora stiffened. "Yes, this is my mother Serubelia's nest," she replied, her gaze sowhat evasive. "But she was already an old dragon when she laid the clutch of Dragon Eggs that included , so I'm probably from her last brood. I've also been living independently for nearly thirty years, so I'm not sure if I should take you to et her, especially since we've already spent so much ti on our journey."

Or perhaps she was worried I wouldn't gain any benefits from this visit? David mused, then imdiately said with a smile, "Having co all this way, how could eting a Legendary Green Dragon be considered a waste of ti?"

Hearing David say this, the once apprehensive female Green Dragon bead with joy, but in the blink of an eye, she seed to beco shy and nervous again, as if sothing had occurred to her.

Soon, David no longer paid attention to her. As they neared the canopy, the sheer density of the leaves and branches made it impossible to continue flying. Upon landing on a branch of the mutated World Tree sapling, David felt the environnt around him subtly change. The surrounding branches grew taller, the foliage denser, and sunlight could barely penetrate. The usual animal sounds had ceased, as if everything was hiding in fear of sothing.

It was as if he had entered another world entirely.

A world built entirely within the forest canopy.

This was the nest of a Legendary Dragon.

For a mont, David even thought it rivaled his mother Pafila's Katjana Volcano in grandeur.

Soon, as they approached an open area near the center of the canopy, they saw a massive stone monunt standing proudly. It was covered with moss and vines. Atop it was the statue of a Green Dragon, its eyes seeming to shimr with light.

David suddenly felt a powerful surge of magical energy erupt from the monunt. The Green Dragon statue on it began to morph, eventually transforming into a real Green Dragon. She spread her wings, nearly covering the entire sky above the canopy, her eyes twinkling with a sly and profound brilliance.

The Green Dragon's voice echoed through the canopy: "Welco to my domain. I hope your arrival isn't ant as a challenge!"

"...Who is this?" David asked, looking silently at Nifadora, who was practically trying to bury her head in the foliage.

"My clutch sister... Shadila."

"TCH, how dull." The enormous, illusion-like Green Dragon rapidly shrank to Nifadora's size, flying towards the depths of the canopy do while shouting loudly,

"Mom!"

"Mom, you were right!"

"Sister Nifadora is back!"

"And she's brought a young red male Dragon to see you!"

David was speechless.

Incensed, Nifadora imdiately roared, "Shut your mouth, Shadila! Believe it or not, tonight I'll make sure your throat can never utter another word!"

David, who had initially been sowhat taken aback, couldn't help but chuckle.

It seed the family atmosphere of Nifadora's Green Dragon clutch was surprisingly 'warm and harmonious' for Chromatic Dragons, he thought.
