I really didn’t understand how Jones was able to finish his work abroad and co back in such a short ti. I was gobsmacked when I saw him at the hospital.

I chuckled "What could possibly be going on between Damon and ? If Ariel wasn’t always in my face. I doubt Damon and I would even cross paths"
Ariel was a bit dim in this regard. She was always trying to one-up , to show she’d won. But all she did was bring Damon around more.

April pulled aside and whispered, "Eliana, I want to ask you a question. Do you know if Ariel is in this hospital?"
"Why on earth are you looking for her?" I asked, surprised
April pouted, "I want to see her. I haven’t t her yet. I don’t get what’s so great about her that Damon is so hung up on her"
I was silent. April was clueless about Catherine’s situation. She probably thought Ariel was Damon’s true love, just like I used to.
"Spit it out, Eliana" April nudged .
"April, I suggest you give up on Damon and go back to abroad" I advised her gently.
"No way! I won’t give up until I et Ariel" April replied, her eyes wide.
I knew which hospital Ariel was in, but if I told April, she’d definitely go locking for Ariel. And if things went south, she’d be blad.
She was just smitten with Damon and ant no harm. I didn’t want her to get in trouble because of this.
So I told April I didn’t know where Ariel was, bid her goodbye, and drove my mom ho.
But I’d underestimated April’s determination. She found the hospital where Ariel was and even managed to piss off Damon.
That’s what Luna told "Mitch is at the hospital right now. I’m thinking of going over April is too nice to be a match for Ariel," Luna said worriedly over the phone
"You’re pregnant You should stay ho "I sighed, "T’ll go and try to get April to go ho?"
"No, you shouldn’t go. Damon’s there too." Luna replied
"April’s dad and my dad are close. It would be even worse if I didn’t go. You just rest," I said, hanging up and heading for the hospital.
Ariel’s room was buzzing when I arrived. Ariel was lying in bed, her eyes red, while April was furing.
Mitch, seeing , ca over and whispered, "Eliana, you need to talk so sense into Damon He’s pissed because April ca looking for Ariel"
Damon had been working with April’s family for three years. The fact that he was angry with April over Ariel, it was because Ariel ant a lot to him.
My heart sank. Then what was all that talk with about? Was he playing ?
While I had no expectations for him and wasn’t stupid enough to expect him to give up Ariel, it was funny to suddenly find out that what he said and what he did was different.
"Why did you tell April I was here? You know my situation..." Ariel looked at tearfully, her voice full of accusation.
"Ariel"rDamon frowned. He glared at Ariel, his expression one of irritation.
Startled, Ariel’s tears started flowing, as if she couldn’t believe Damon was angry at her.
Ignoring the two of them, I went over to April, "Let’s go. You’re driving back to your place tonight"
"Ariel, you’ve got it all wrong. Eliana didn’t tell you were here. Are you trying to fra her? Is this the kind of woman you like, Damon?" April shouted, refusing to leave
Ariel was stung by her words and started crying." That’s not what I ant. You said you’d asked Eliana, so I thought she’d told you..."
"I said Eliana didn’t tell . Now you’re twisting my words" April, just as straightforward as Luna, was far from pleased, "Damon, I thought you were smarter than this. To think you’d fall for a woman like this, I was a fool to have liked you!"
After April finished speaking, she pulled to leave.
"I,I″ Ariel was panting, as if she was having difficulty breathing.
I noticed that Damon was ready to leave with us, but Ariel appeared to be unwell, so he had to stay where he was.
In the elevator, April was silent and downcast. She looked really bumd..
I knew this experience would shatter her dreams.
Her personality was too straightforward. She’s no match for Ariel. Besides, Damon didn’t even like her. How could he possibly be biased toward her?
"Eliana, where did I go wrong?" April asked , puzzled, as we sat in the car on the way back to her place. "What the hell is going on in Damon’s head? Luna was right, that Ariel is a real bitch, I can’t stand being alone with her!"
"All you have to do is give up on Damon. There’re plenty of good guys out there, why do you have to pick a jerk?" I smiled and said, standing at the car door. April gave a strange look behind and awkwardly said, "Eliana, the jerk is here."
