"What did you say?"

Chu Yan squeezed these words out through clenched teeth.

The cool phoenix eyes took on a dark hue, and a blood-red spiritual power erged around him, mixed with a terrible aura of brutality and death.

This aura spread throughout the entire villa, and the servants downstairs felt the ground shake.

"Say it again if you dare!"

His hand, cold as jade, suddenly grasped Nan Xian’s neck.

He couldn’t resist at all, since he was just an ordinary mortal now.

"You...!"

Nan Xian t those indifferent, chilling phoenix eyes, and his heart skipped a beat.

He struggled desperately to free himself from Chu Yan’s grip, "With such a temperant, you’re simply unsuitable for Qin Zhao."

Nan Xian thought for a mont and then felt sothing strange.

"No, the power emanating from you is sowhat different from before."

Hearing this, Chu Yan’s expression faltered.

Seeing Chu Yan distracted, Nan Xian quickly took out a communication talisman.

He shouted into the talisman, "Disciple, save ! Your husband is going to beat !"

"...."

Chu Yan hurriedly snatched the communication talisman from him and crushed it.

"Don’t tell Qin Zhao!"

His eyes darkly fixed on Nan Xian, he raised his hand.

Nan Xian was not at all frightened, arrogantly pointing to his own cheek.

"Hit then, right here! Hit hard! When Qin Zhao arrives, I’d like to see how you’ll explain yourself!"

"You...!"

Chu Yan was so infuriated that he couldn’t restrain himself from throwing a punch at his face.

Nan Xian grunted and fell to the ground.

Chu Yan looked down at Nan Xian from above, "This is the first ti I’ve ever encountered such a request."

"Holy crap, you really dared to hit ?"

Nan Xian, furious, got up ready to fight back.

The two fought for a while, and almost half the villa was demolished.

The servants thought it was an earthquake and had already fled in panic.

Chu Yan grabbed Nan Xian by the collar, with Nan Xian’s face showing many minor injuries.

However, they were just light wounds.

Chu Yan had always been considerate of Qin Zhao’s feelings and had not gone all out.

Otherwise, Nan Xian might have needed a new body.

Although Nan Xian couldn’t beat Chu Yan, he attacked relentlessly with verbal jabs.

Every word he said was like driving a knife into Chu Yan’s heart.

Nan Xian: "Why are you so agitated? Could it be that you are recalling past events? In our previous lives, she would rather die than be with you. Do you think it would be different in this lifeti?

Your temperant is more suited for a lonely life; don’t co causing trouble for our Zhaozhao!"

Chu Yan narrowed his eyes, "I don’t understand what you’re talking about with past and present lives, but in this life, she’s my wife. If not with , then who? Perhaps with you?"

Eh, he didn’t take the bait?

Actually, after noticing Chu Yan had grown stronger, Nan Xian wondered if he had regained his mory.

Qin Zhao didn’t know that in a past life, after her death, Chu Yan ascended to the Immortal Realm and had done many things to resurrect her.

Nan Xian was sowhat aware of this, so he also knew that there would co a day when Chu Yan would definitely regain his mory.

He saw that Qin Zhao really enjoyed her current life and didn’t want to tell her the cruel truth, as it would undoubtedly leave her not knowing how to face Chu Yan.

But today, Chu Yan suddenly ca to beat him.

Nan Xian noticed that the spiritual power in Chu Yan was off; it hadn’t been this strong previously.

Suddenly, a burst of power erupted from Nan Xian, allowing him to break free from Chu Yan.

He sneaked around the villa, observing secretly.

After a mont, Nan Xian shouted at Chu Yan, "Do you know why Qin Zhao committed suicide in her past life? If you apologize to , I might just tell you."

"Why?"

While Chu Yan had still been in the distance, he suddenly appeared behind Nan Xian.

A cold and beautiful face cast down a shadow, and there was an ominously dark and eerie feeling about it.

Nan Xian turned his head and saw him, jumping with fright.

He patted his chest, his face suddenly turning very serious.

"Chu Yan, you must have regained your mory! Otherwise, why would you care so much about this matter?"

His long, dark eyelashes slightly drooped, hiding the turbulent dark tide in his eyes.

Chu Yan chuckled lightly, "What mory? I’ve never felt that I was missing any mories."

"Why do you want to know then?"

"Can’t I be curious?"

"Heh."

Nan Xian returned his laughter with a cold sneer, then suddenly launched a surprise attack on him.

After all, having taken so many hits just a mont ago, it was ti to find an opportunity to hit back.

"Master!"

From afar, Chu Yan saw Qin Zhao riding his sword over.

He simply didn’t dodge, allowing Nan Xian’s attack to land on him.

With a loud bang, Chu Yan was sent flying.

"Master!"

Qin Zhao thought it was Nan Xian who had been sent flying and hurriedly rushed over to help him up.

"..." She paused for quite a while, "Chu Yan?"

"Zhaozhao."

Chu Yan, extrely weak, tugged at the corner of her robe, then his head tilted, and he fainted.

"Chu Yan!"

Qin Zhao quickly used her spiritual power to heal the injuries inside his body.

"Disciple, don’t worry about him. My bit of spiritual power couldn’t possibly hurt him."

Nan Xian walked over, mischievously kicked Chu Yan, but still, Chu Yan did not wake up.

Qin Zhao noticed the ss nearby and her expression slightly darkened.

"What are you two doing? Why are you fighting?"

"How would I know? He suddenly ca to my house and started hitting as soon as he entered!"

Nan Xian pointed to the wounds on his face, "These were all caused by him!"

He pondered for a mont, then pulled Qin Zhao away from Chu Yan.

"Disciple, I suspect he has regained his mory; he definitely wasn’t this strong before."

"How strong is he?"

"He couldn’t beat before, but now he can."

"But you knocked him out."

"He’s faking it!"

"..."

Seeing that Qin Zhao didn’t believe him, Nan Xian raised his hand and slapped Chu Yan.

With a crisp smack.

The sound was very sharp.

"Master! What are you doing!"

Qin Zhao looked at him disapprovingly.

"Eh? He’s still not waking up?"

Nan Xian stroked his chin, determined to expose Chu Yan’s true nature today!

If Chu Yan had regained his mory, he absolutely couldn’t allow him to stay by Qin Zhao’s side any longer; otherwise, it would still affect her heart of cultivation, preventing her from ascending to the Immortal Realm.

"Zhaozhao, let kiss you."

"You dare!"

Right after Nan Xian finished speaking, Chu Yan sprang to his feet.

He pushed Nan Xian far away, protectively pulling Qin Zhao behind him like a mother protecting her cub.

"See, I told you he was faking!"

Nan Xian almost fell over, barely managing to steady himself.

Qin Zhao folded her arms and looked at Chu Yan, then at Nan Xian.

The look Chu Yan gave Nan Xian was sinister, with a hint of murderous intent, as if he was about to slaughter him on the spot.

Qin Zhao’s expression faltered, and she asked him, "Chu Yan, have you rembered everything?"

Upon hearing this, Chu Yan’s heart tightened. He averted his gaze, looking at Qin Zhao beside him.

His phoenix eyes contained a hint of confusion, "Rember what?"

"Things from your past life."

"What past life matters."

Qin Zhao didn’t speak, her expression beca a bit complex.

Seeing this look on her, Chu Yan’s handso face turned deathly pale.

The hand hanging at his side also trembled slightly.

After a mont of thought, he said softly, "Zhaozhao, I feel a bit unwell. I ca here to see Master just now, and I even lashed out at him; I couldn’t control my own body at all.

It feels as though a ghost has possessed ."
