Isadora bit her bottom lip, she had said the words before she could stop herself and how frightened she was about his advances.

That word was what her friend Serena called it back at the brothel. She explained it is called that when two people engage in sexual activities that don’t involve coming to a brothel.

"You an fuck." Kraven chuckled. "Unfortunately if I do that right now you won’t survive it."

He took his hands off her the very instant and took a step back.

Isadora spun to him, noting how he had put a good distance between them. Her body tensed seeing the crazed look in his eyes, she couldn’t tell if he stared at her with desire or just plain bloodlust.

She took a step back instinctively causing Kraven to tilt his head to the side, an inhumane action.

He took one closer and she took one back.

Kraven chuckled as he swiped his tongue over his lips. "Go to the bath, love, get cleaned up, keep your dagger close too."

Isadora didn’t hesitate as she turned on her heels and hurried to the place, eager to put more distance between them.

His aura was no longer calm.

"Good girl," Kraven murmured, before a frown took over, a ringing sound to his ears followed.

He exhaled sharply and turned his back, hands placed on the cold wall. His teeth clenched as they itched to take his dagger from his holster, but he kept it pinned on the wall, using it as a substitute.

His thirst hit him so hard he thought he would collapse from it, it seed the more he tried to surpress it, the more difficult it was to keep it in.

A presence ca forth, forged from the dark weaves erging from his back and forming a standing figure with the sa build as him.

A coil of weaves taking the shape of a hand, rested on his shoulders, like a reminder of a part of himself he couldn’t escape.

Kill.

Kraven’s teeth grinded more together, as the impulse tugged at the depths of his mind, forcing their way through to get what it desired.

Isadora.

Kraven released a low, lethal breath and pushed off the wall, he grabbed his dagger and eyed the entrance of the bathhouse where the strong scent of herbal infusion slipped through.

A smirk tugged on Kraven’s lips as he gracefully walked to the bathhouse. He stood at the entrance, his eerily silver eyes zoning through the fog that covered the place because of the hot water.

Isadora was dipped inside the bath, her eyes fixed on the entrance with a dagger close to her chest, but she couldn’t see him because of the fog.

He could hear her thundering heartbeat as her erratic eyes searched for any movent.

"You should’ve left," she said to herself. "But the bath you went." She gulped. "Its not like he could have let leave anyway."

She released a low shaky breath. "Don’t worry, Isa, he can control it, there’s no need to be on alert. He could have killed you a number of tis but he didn’t."

Kraven narrowed his eyes at her words, the presence ca behind him and whispered to his ear.

Kill her.

"He won’t hurt you," Isadora voiced, clearly uncertain but for so reason she chose to believe.

Kraven sighed as he stared hungrily at her, not in desire but pure bloodlust. Her words had sohow stalled his movents, even as his vision played on him to urge him to do the needful and relinquish in the sight of a desired kill.

Isadora was already dead, her body floating beautifully on the water stained with her blood.

Kill.

Kill.

Kill.

Kill.

KILL!

Kraven forced his eyes away, as he walked back to the bed chamber but the voices only got louder until the rest of the world deafened.

To silence the chaos wanting to explode his head he buried his dagger deep in his lap like a walk-up call from his mind.

Kraven didn’t flinch from the impact because pain was nonexistent for him.

"Don’t worry you’ll have your kill," Kraven said, removing the dagger as his blood spilled onto the floor. But he drove it again right into that sa spot. "But not her."

Isadora’s bare feet tapped against the cold floor, she wore only her tunic because it was the only thing wearable, her pants were ruined.

Her fist clenched around the dagger as she made her way to the bed chamber. It took everything in her to leave the safety of that bath. It wasn’t much for a safe spot from soone like Kraven.

But it did ease her a bit.

As ti passed she got worried, she knew how much control it took—fighting sothing as big as his thirst was unimaginable. It was a burden that only he could handle.

She needed to know if he was okay.

Isadora’s eyes skimd through the empty room, there was no sight of him but her eyes caught the blood trail on the floor.

A sharp exhale escaped her as she hurriedly followed it to the opening path where the sunlight slipped through.

Isadora found herself at the familiar place with large windows, following the peak view of the clouds and the sun but unlike the first ti she was here she wasn’t srized by the sight.

Her eyes locked on Kraven sitting close to the window, a table beside him, where the sll of thick smoke ca from.

It ca from a smoke pipe he held, bringing it to his lips and sipped from it, letting the smoke curl from his lips as he took his head backward, eyes pinned on the ceiling.

Isadora’s lips parted as she took in the sight of him, but that was only briefly because her eyes descended to his bleeding leg, blood already pooling on the floor around him.

Her legs moved before she could stop herself, the desperate need to get him overwheld her entire body.

"Co any closer, Isadora, and I can’t guarantee you’ll leave here alive."
