Koko's face lit up with joy, her clear eyes filled with excitent as she opened her arms for a hug.

Ye Feng stood there, his body stiff, looking at the little girl nad Koko.

It wasn't the first ti he'd seen her, and the impression was deeply ingrained.

The first ti was when he accompanied Luo Yan to school, on the playground below the high school teacher's dormitory.

That was the first ti he saw her, and she caught him and called him "Dad." He was amused by this adorable little girl.

That brief encounter didn't leave much of an impression on Ye Feng; he just thought the little girl had mistaken him for soone else.

The second ti was when he accompanied Luo Yan to the ngsi costics brand store in Liancheng Mall.

The little girl was as adorable as ever, repeatedly calling Ye Feng "Dad."

He rembered that he had given her a large scarf, which was now draped around the little girl's neck.

He never would have thought that this cute and amusing little girl in front of him was actually Liu Yingying's daughter.

Yes!

She was already married, and it was perfectly normal for her to have a daughter.

Originally, he thought he had let go of his feelings, especially those from the past.

A quick look at tinyurl/2p9emv8w will leave you more fulfilled.

But thinking about his forr lover, now soone else's wife, and having a lovely daughter.

At this thought, a sharp pain mixed with sadness and regret surged in Ye Feng's heart.

At this mont, Ye Feng felt like a puppet unable to think, overwheld by the scene before him.

Although he felt sad about Liu Yingying's marriage, seeing this scene, especially her child with soone else, was a huge shock to him, second only to the mont he learned of his mother's death.

If Ye Feng were still clear-headed, he might have seen through the situation upon careful thought.

But he couldn't bring himself to ponder Liu Yingying's past years, nor did he consider that Koko might be his daughter.

Back then, things happened so suddenly, and he didn't know that Liu Yingying was already pregnant.

At this mont, a trace of panic flashed across Liu Yingying's face, but she quickly concealed it.

She never expected to run into Ye Feng here, despite her efforts to avoid him.

If Koko weren't with her, she wouldn't have shown any weakness, but with Koko by her side, she couldn't stay calm.

She had long been disappointed in this man and had made up her mind never to forgive him or let Koko acknowledge him.

He wasn't fit to be Koko's father and would only have a negative influence on her.

It wasn't Liu Yingying's fault; just the fact that Ye Feng had a criminal record was enough.

If others found out that Koko's father was a murderer, she would be ridiculed wherever she went.

It would be an irreparable harm to Koko's young mind.

The mont she saw Ye Feng, Liu Yingying froze for a mont, then instinctively wanted to take Koko and walk away.

She wanted to avoid this man and was determined not to let Koko see him.

But before she could move, Koko's cry of "Dad" left her at a loss.

She had to abandon her plan to escape; the more she avoided, the more suspicious he might beco.

She raised her hand to hold Koko's little head, took a deep breath, and said softly, "Koko, don't call out randomly. Your dad hasn't co back yet!"

"But..."

"No nonsense!"

Koko wanted to turn her head to see the dad she had missed for so long, but Liu Yingying stopped her.

Hearing her mother's words, Koko pouted, wanting to look back again, but Liu Yingying gently stroked her head to prevent her from turning.

Liu Yingying's mind was in turmoil, her soul trembling, her brain feeling like it was filled with mush.

She was, after all, a seasoned businesswoman, and after a brief mont of distraction, she quickly regained her composure.

Her beautiful eyes scrutinized the man in front of her, whom she hated to the core, and he hadn't changed much from before.

He was still as calm and gentle as ever, exuding a warm and approachable aura.

But Liu Yingying was no longer the naive girl she once was and wouldn't be fooled by his superficial facade.

Given everything that had happened, she had no good feelings toward Ye Feng and directly asked, "Ye Feng, what are you doing here?"

If it was a coincidence, Liu Yingying was skeptical.

She was more inclined to believe that he had been following her since they last t.

Had he found out where she lived and waited here?

Ye Feng heard her words and smiled bitterly.

Could ti really wash away the feelings between people?

What happened back then was sudden and beyond his control.

Even if she was married with children, did it warrant such a deep-seated resentnt toward him?

Ye Feng's expression darkened, feeling wronged, not knowing what had angered Liu Yingying.

But given the situation, he had no intention of blaming Liu Yingying. After all, he had been imprisoned, with no news for years.

Neither alive nor dead!

Her choices were only natural; he could only bla fate for not favoring him.

Frad by the Ye family, he had no doubt placed the bla on them once again.

Facing Liu Yingying's words, Ye Feng was equally flustered, unsure of how to respond.

After a long pause, his gaze fell on Koko, and he forced a gentle smile, answering irrelevantly, "I've t your daughter; she's very cute!"

Liu Yingying's heart trembled at his words, and she instinctively held Koko tighter, watching Ye Feng warily.

Afraid that he would take Koko away from her, her eyes showed a defensive look.

She thought to herself, did this despicable man see through sothing?

No, she couldn't let him see any clues. Based on her understanding of Ye Feng, he would never give up.

Spending even a minute longer with him gave her a sense of being exposed.

Liu Yingying's face fell again, and she said, "Ye Feng, we're from different worlds now. There's nothing more to say between us."

"And besides, no matter how cute she is, she's my daughter."

Koko wanted to speak, but her mother wouldn't let her, so she buried her head in Liu Yingying's shoulder.

Several tis she wanted to turn her head to see the dad she longed for.

But Liu Yingying gently guided her little head back, and though the little one was eager, she gradually quieted down.

Liu Yingying's mood to take her daughter out for fun was completely ruined by Ye Feng's appearance.

She quickened her pace, turning to run into the residential area.

"Yingying, let's have a al together!"

Ye Feng called out urgently from behind.

Liu Yingying paused, thought for a mont, and said impatiently, "Ye Feng, is it appropriate for us to have a al together?"

"We'd better not et again!"

"Don't focus on anymore; don't you have a bunch of won around you?"

Liu Yingying almost said it all in one breath, especially the last sentence, which she nearly spat out through gritted teeth.

Ye Feng couldn't see her gritted expression from behind and remained silent.

After Liu Yingying finished speaking, she ran into the residential gate without looking back, with the little one lying on her shoulder, her big, shiny eyes blinking at Ye Feng.

A bit mischievous and cute, a bit longing.
