After I had allowed the boy to be included in my service the ssenger conveyed a ssage directly sent from the queen that she wanted to enjoy the markets of the capital before moving back ho. They were two things that I could do about the whole situation one was I could declining her politely even though still I will manage to offender and the other was I could politely go to the market and select a few things then return back.

It was later inford to when I was going to pay for the item selected by that the queen was going to pay for them personally which ant that the items I was buying were to be paid by the pocket of the crown.

"Why is she doing this?" I hissed rilyn, "the kind of relationship she wants to establish that is of a mother and a daughter is not going to happen here. Does not understand that?!"

"Perhaps, she just wants your stay to be more comfortable. . . ."

"Comfortable through what? Making paynts for my purchase through the crown? She is clearly trying to woo by the riches and luxury that the crown possesses."

All of a sudden gasped and I looked at her who ca towards and whispered in my ear.

"I think I just saw her!"

"Her, who rilyn?" I sighed.

"Lara."

Hearing her na my heart stopped for a mont and so did I. Lara was here?

My eyes nervously search around to see the familiar faces and I found her imdiately. She had a basket in her hands and she was picking the vegetables in a full stop when she was done she handed them to the vendor who wait them down and then asked her for a price which she paid.

Nothing looked out of the ordinary for her. Not no one could tell that her brother was inside prison for last few nights or that he was now taken into hiding.

Her eyes t mine and and half heartedly I had expected her to turn away when haughtiness in her stance and arrogance towards what had been caused by but that did not happen instead she smiled brightly at even though she wearily I need the people who was standing behind .

I had almost raise my hand to wave at her but ended up giving her a small awkward smile.

She once again glanced at the man beside and then picked up her skirt and walked towards what I saw as a boutique for won only.

I glanced at Marilyn who knew what was happening and agreed to it. Lara was asking as for a et without the gaurds.

I nodded as well and started to towards it.

"My lady," the ssenger ca forward, "we cannot enter there." He pointed to wear it was clearly written that only won were allowed to enter.

"Yes, so?" I aksed in return with nonchalant look on my face, "I just wanted to buy a dress, perhaps do you want to not?"

"No no," he shook his head, "We would be waiting outside."

In other words we would be waiting for you out her since we are asked to do so by the queen.

I nodded and stepped inside where a body imdiately collided into .

"I missed you!" Lara said loudly as she hugged tightly. I did want to hug her, it was like hugging Catherine. So, I wrapped my hands around her as well.

Letting go, I did not waste ti any further. "How is your brother? Is he will now? Does he need sothing from the healers I could contribute—"

"Sh, sh," Lara giggled as she shushed making creatine down by glancing here and there is soone noticed my slight dramatic care. "My brother is alright. He often behaves like a small princess who wants the attention of both of my parents, so yes, I’d say he is fine now."

Claoing my eyes, I laughed at that while slightly bowing my head. It was a big relief to know that he was all right now and even more that he was throwing tantrums. It certainly ant that he was alright now and he was enjoying the care given to him.

But did not lessen the burden I carried in my heart. The guilt weighed down almost every mont that I thought of the man. "He must be in pain."

She felt quiet at that. "Yes," she said quietly. "But they injured him very much so it is a given that he would be in pain. The dicines are working well so half of the ti he is sleeping."

That was better. At least, in that way, he won’t be feeling the pain.

"Do you wan to buy a dress?" I aksed ehr instead. She was not angry with and was talking to as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened which is why I wanted to to keep this friendship for as long as it was possible.

She shook her head and gakcned around at us. The shop was really busy which is why they was no one who was paying attention to two young girls gossiping in a corner.

"You should visit him. My brother would be pleased if you ca to visit him even once before going back to the neighbouring country." She whispered as if it was a small secret that no one was supposed to know about.

I gulped and rilyn shifted uncomfortably. "Lara, it would not be easy for us to get out of the castle and et with your brother."

"Castle?" She frowned and caught onto quickly. "You must be a relative!" She went to courtesy but I stopped her.

"It is not about that but in general I don’t think I could get out of the castle in ti. Also my return is approaching quickly."

"Please!" She begeed and joined her hands in front of . "Please! Do it! It just has to be for a few monts and after that we will never ask you again until you are comfortable with it."

My heart couldn’t be persuaded any more and I agreed readily which is why I moved to behind the exit of the shop.

"Where are we goi—Ah!"

The last thing I rember depart from question in Laura was so force hitting against my head and falling down to the ground.
