She has said it such intensity that for a second felt my knees buckle. But I kept myself strong even though now I slightly felt like crying. Who was she to say no to ?
"What?" I asked as my eyes widened slightly in shock. "But why would you say that? I am not doing anything wrong rather contributing to my efforts in this pro-"
"If we want those efforts, we would ask. However, right now, we do not need them which is why, I am prioritising your health." She raised her hand and placed it on my cheek, "Not as a queen of a country but as soone who never had a daughter, I would not let you take part in any of this."
She stepped back and moved to the door but heard her say instead of walking out. "The king is not yet aware of your presence in the kingdom. I and Prince want it to continue which is why since you are not going to be involved anymore in this investigation I would like to have you sent back with the royal guard."
"Sent back?" I whispered and just repeated her last words. I was tongue tied in front of the woman because I was aware that in front of the royal command of the queen of the country that I was in I did not an anything unless I had my crown over my head.
"You cannot do that, you must not. The problems you have will eventually co to my country—"
"No, they would not." She cut off imdiately with a sharp look. She did not like ntioning anything about it. She did not like ntioning about the creatures. "Whether or not that problem cos to you it should be the least of your concerns and if it does we would rember to send you help."
I scoffed at her. "How can you take such problems lighty?"
"Rest well," she said instead. "Shiv aur princes you will always have the luxury of sleeping properly for stop I think you have not slept well for today tonight so why don’t you have a late morning tomorrow. Also your maid has been shifted to new chambers, you will be escorted there." She opened the door and from what I could tell a lady in waiting was already standing there.
The queen left of the that. He did not wait for any more of my opinions rather gave her Royal command and left leaving thinking about what to do.
"My lady," the man; ssenger, ca in again, "allow to escort you back to your chambers."
Of course I thought it was a given that the queen would go forward and make show there was soone who has caught back to the chambers. And now I was sure of the fact that there was also going to be soone who would watch out for .
She was not going to take any chances for running away when she had really told to go back with the Royal guard itself.
The gaurd followed to different chambers this ti. I was not staying with the prince in his chambers but in proper chambers given to a guest of the royal family. The queen did not treat as a stranger. I’m sure that the prince must have had a word or two about his treatnt for if he had been entirely honest about it.
Walking inside the room, I imdiately saw rilyn inside who was facing while in the room as she was waiting for and now that she had seen she finally released a sigh of relief and her shoulders shagged.
"There you are," she ran to and pulled main into her arms, hugging close. "I was so scared." She tightened her arms around more.
At first I did not hug her that happened a lot of tis that whenever rryland was likely upset she becos seeking comfort from . Not every ti I hugged her back but this ti I felt overwheld which is why I wrapped my hands around her equally as tight if not more just as she had done.
The night it had barely began when I had reached down to tristan’s cell and now I knew that it was far from the end now that the queen had told that you wanted to send back.
What was all of this? I sighed.
"Are you alright, Princess?" She pulled back and stood in front of with her hands clasped in front of a full stop the standard pose for a lady in waiting.
She waited for my answer. As I tried to collect my thoughts which were scattered all around the place I did not know how to proceed. Why should I frankly begin from?
"It. . " I sighed and she turned around to walk sowhere fullstop I heard water being poured into a glass and she appeared in front of with that. She did not let drink water standing instead pulled to the bed made said and then went down on the floor in front of and started to massage my feet.
I sipped it with patience and then when I was done, I answered her.
"I did not et with the prince. It was not him who had called but his mother instead." I revealed and her eyes went wide from shock.
"What?" She gapsed. "Queen Emalia had called you!" She placed her head on my knee. "Oh god, this is not good. Not good, it is." She kept on mumbling.
I would usually comfort rilyn, but at this mont I was in a similar predicant is well which is why I try to sort out my thoughts first.
She knew everything and she did not make any more delays in sending back to my ho which ant that the proposal was going to co soon. My only concern here was that my father was not aware of this which ant that I could be grave trouble.
"She told to go back to my country. She would have escorted by the royal cards and then, well, that wasafter she told that she would like to have my hand in marriage for his son—Ah!" I yelled out of pain. "rilyn!"
"Sorry." She whispered. She had banged her head against my knee. "I am too tensed right now. What must we do? We have to go back now that she knows." She whimpered. "Would she kill us?"
"No!" I snapped. "Am I dead?"
"I don’t know, it could be a ghost." She mumbles under her breath. "After all my whole life I have been around you so it’s only natural for you to co to as a ghost after you are dead."
"Shut up."
"Yes, your grace." She bowed her head. "Are we leaving imdiately?"
"Tomorrow?" I spoke thoughtfully, "perhaps. . Well . .I am not sure. But I think the sooner we lives displays the better it would be for hair fall stop the sweating sickness as an excuse for not work for much longer and I believe the Prince would also be asking for my health."
"But. . .what about," she gulped and glance at once before taking her eyes off of and pointing them downwards, "Tristan?" She whispered.
My eyes closed at the tone she had used to address Tristan. She has spoken out his na like it was nothing but if it in word which was never ant to be said out loud.
"I do not know." I told her honesty because I will you did not know what was going to happen next ti I was not expecting to et him ever again. "Maybe," I thought about it, "If I take a chance, I could et him again but I think that would be only once."
She nodded understandingly, "I think you should. When we leave the country I don’t think there would ever be a chance of eting him can which only makes it one last chance."
I nodded and shifted onto the bed. "Let us sleep, I am very tired." With a sigh, I just closed my eyes.
*******
"He is not well." The woman hissed in anger. "They all literally injured him to the end of life he had."
The man along side her nodded. "Do not worry, sister. He will be fine. He had to be, the throne is his after all."
"How does it matter is there is a throne for him or not when he is not alive in the first place?!" The woman agruwd. "Have you thought of that?!"
"I have." The man lazily drawled out as if not with the conversation. "Which is why, the ti has co."
The ti was sothing that was talked about afternoon this family which is why the womam undertood it. "No! Not now!"
"Yes, now," The man stated calmly, "The brink of death it is to be. The right ti is here."
