He brought the boy out and inside where as I talked to the healer. "I have a young boy with who need to be treated for severe wounds."
She nodded and leaned over to look at the boy, hissing as she got a good one. "Oh dear." She tsked. "He is very. ." Her voice died down and I could not hear anything else she said because she was busy examining his injuries with a horrifying expression.
"What happened to him?" She sniffed at the sight. "The poor boy looks like he was tortured." She looked at with accusing eyes which I did not bother of.
"He was." I murmured as I confird what she said. "I brought him from the market of flesh. Can he be treated?" I looked at the woman who glanced at . "I want to know if he should be treated, any further in hopes of becoming well one day. Otherwise I believe. . . Freeing him would be a better option than giving him more pain." I looked away as I said it.
Sad reality it was, but it was also true that the boy might not make it which is why I wanted to make sure that if he lived any longer he would be well and would be able to stand on his feet which he was unable to now.
She nodded, slowly so, but she did. "I think so. The instructions is sothing I would have to scrape the skin of but if he could survive as for so long with infected wounds and skin and new ones I am sure that he could survive the treatnt as well." She murmured and touched the wounds, lightly running her hands over it. "I have seen worst ones then this on the guards and people taken as prisoners which is why I can assure you that the boy will heal but it would take a lot of ti for it."
I nodded. For it was enough to know that the boy would be alright. That was the good news and I sighed in relief because of which.
"How much for now?" I asked and watched her gulp.
"His treatnt is going to be expensive and I cannot ascertain the cost of it now. But there will be a lot of materials involved." She inford and I nodded.
"I understand," I took to the pouch on the back of the dress and pulled out two golden coins along with one silver one. "This should be enough for the beginning. I will co and visit him every 2-3 days or at least once in a week and I will pay you every week. Is that okay with you?"
She looked at the money and nodded. "Is he soone important to you? No one would spend gold coins on a boy from the market of flash much less even buy him."
He was nobody to but for sure he was belonging to a family who were missing him. They were greiving for him and they might be thinking that he might have ended up dead. But if there was a slight chance that he could return to them at my expense that I would make sure of that happening.
"Yes. He is soone to ." I answered and smiled at her. "I will co and visit him after a few days. I want to see a few of his bones which are not infected a bit better." I told her my expectations. "Do not take a fool that if I am paying you every week you would just treat him once or twice. I can drop by anyti I want."
She bit back a smile and nodded. "Do not worry about that. I am honest in my living. I will make sure that this boy will be as good as he can be."
I nodded. That was enough for as assurance.
I moved out and the man followed .
"I would like to praise your efforts to save the boys life. But I do not think that would be possible." He said and I wanted to smack him. He was lucky that he was not rilyn. "The boy has too much of infected wounds and has no strength."
I nodded. "A young boy is what makes a brave soldier." I told him. "A young boy who would love to sing dance and play a is now a man who would drink and kill people for his country. Seems alike, does it not?"
He smiled and chuckled at what I had said. "Well said, your highness, very well said."
I smiled as I took one last look at the house where the boy was going to be treated and then I moved into the carriage and once again road to the market of flesh.
My heart was still 13 lovely against my chest as I could not forget when I looked down the fluid that was slightly covered in blood of the boy that was bleeding profusely. How could soone do that to another human being much less a child? Did No one have any morals or even a heart anymore or was money exceeding all of it?
The carriage stopped once again and I stepped outside. The prince was not here yet and I did not want to step inside which is why I stayed out.
What would Tristan be doing? I wondered.
I wanted to tell what I had found and do with it. The boy needed help and since I could provide help for one, I tried to do with him. The boy deserved the world coming to him.
When was the Prince coming? I stepped up on my toes to watch out but I saw nothing. How long was it going to take for him to ask around for a girl? I have told that he knew just a person to go to and it had been quite a while since I had said so.
Where was he? I hoped he would co him so good information.
