I scoffed silently. I rembered sothing from the training that I had once secretly watched. I raised my hand foward and brought it back quickly elbowing The Prince in the stomach making him take a few steps back in pain.

I turned around and glared at the prince. "I took you for a prince that is arrogant and short-tempered but you have proved yourself to be much worse than what I thought of you. The royal family of Lethoris kidnapping won all over the world, what a well-known rumour which now has been proved right in front of my eyes."

"Mind that tongue!" He roared making jump as his eyes raged in anger. "I will not have a princess of a dying country tell what to do and what are the sayings of my country. If I want, I can have a fraction of my army capture the whole Kingdom of yours!"

The insult made look away. We were not good enough and I knew it. He threw that very conveniently in my face.

When I looked at him again I realised that this was going to take us nowhere. Both of us were being arrogant and hard-headed to understand what they are the opposite wanted and in this case, I was supposed to make sure that I knew why this man had abducted . After all, he was an arrogant and short-tempered man who could not even think twice before raising a knife to soone’s throat.

"Prince Lysar," instead of shrieking as I had done previously, I spoke in a calm and collected voice that I always talked with. "I do not understand your need to abduct in the middle of nowhere by five well-built n who could have taken advantage of without your knowledge and could have even killed in the entire process." My eyes burned slighty with tears as the harsh truth.

His expressions did not change. "My n know better than that. They know that if they ever do sothing that is beyond the command given, their head would be cut off from the body within monts."

I smiled in mockery, shaking my head as I replied, "I thought very highly of you too and look at where we are. n cannot be assured of about anything." I shook my head. "Kindly tell the reason why you have had brought here, forcefully so. After that, please send back to the end that you had brought from."

He closed his eyes and sighed in resignation. I assud his deanour changed to sothing calm but this fellow made think uncertain for him.

I was weary of his actions now. From having abducted, he had also raised a knife to my throat which only made think that he was unreliable and could do anything in the spur of the mont.

Which ant that I always had to be weary of him and I could never trust him fully. For a fleeting mont, silver eyes flashed into my mind and I imdiately compared him to the man in front of . I was alone in a carriage with him for days but not a mont had passed where he had ever shown behaviour where I could conclude to not trust him for the best. Tristan had always maintained a good amount of distance in between us in a small carriage and he had never tried to touch or even start a conversation where I did not want to participate.

I gulped as I watched him pace around the chambers making realise that I was alone with one man in them.

Scandalous for soone who was to be married.

"You did not co for ?" He pointed at himself.

"What?!" My brows shot up faster than an arrow. "What do you an by those words?!" I was beyond shocked at his thinking.

He blinked back in shock as well. "I saw you at the port. You did not travel in your royal carriage and were without any permission and it led to believe that you have co here to et ."

How in the world could one man be so self-centred to have a woman abducted because he thought that she had co to et him?

"No," I spoke loud and clear with certainty as much as I could. My expressions must have been comical because I was shocked, disgusted and angry in one. "I did not co to et with you and in fact, I did not even have any intention regarding you when I entered the country, without permission, yes."

He blinked and stepped back before turning around and pacing the room. "What?" He said without looking at him. "But I am sure that I made an impression on you."

Ah, "I am sure you did. But it was the one that I did not like." I told him frankly and he took a double look at because of it.

He stopped and bridged the gap between us, leaving only a re step in between. "If you did not co to et with what is it that you have co here for? Without permission entering any country as a Royal will get you in big trouble, princess. So much so that you may be branded as a traitor to this country or your own."

I nodded in earnest. "Yes, I am aware of that," I told him in all seriousness. "But that did not deter from coming here for myself and finding out for myself if the rumours about the wolf and the abductions were true or not."

He stopped and stared at . I for a mont seat in as well before becoming self-conscious in taking a step back.

"You?" He questioned and then scoffed. "A princess who has barely left the castle walls, the one who has been seen by no one wants to find out about its abductions and wolves?" He gave out a loud laugh.

My cheeks burned and I gasped at his words. "Prince Lysar, mind the words. I can very much help and investigate the matters like any other."

He smiled and stepped closer as mirth danced in those eyes. Well, then I must give you a room to sleep in as from tomorrow, you will help ." He smiled and I narrowed my eyes at him. His words held a hidden aning.
