"Why don’t you show the way to the kitchens?" I neared her before looking around to see if anyone was looking at us.

Once I was sure that no one was present here, I nodded to her. "Lead the way."

Rula nodded and in a hurry like , started to walk quicker. Since she had been in the palace for a long period of ti as compared to she definitely knew where she was going. Once we were in the the servants hallway, I breathed a sigh of relief because this ant that almost half of the plan was complete for tonight.

"What are you all going to eat tonight?" I needed to know about which dish was I going to put the contents of the small bottle in.

"A lot of things but most of them are bloody," rula tsked, "there is no way that whatever you mix in them would be nearly enough to kill all of them." She spat with disgust and I almost flinched.

Killing was not exactly what I intended for but I did not know what the contents in the bottle could do either.

"If not the food then what else are you serving tonight?"

Rula stopped for a brief second before she continued walking. "Blood. There is blood which is going to be mixed with the amount of alcohol, sothing that they have provided us with."

"Yes," my eyes lowered to the ground, "that would be good." That would be the only way for to mix sothing and not having them realise it.

The hustle and bustle started to grow louder and it was obvious that we were nearing the kitchens that were preparing for the feast tonight even if it was a bloody one.

A servant hot had hold and reach for Rula’s hand, "Stop."

Her frowning face ca into my view. "Why? What is it?"

I pointed to the dress that I was wearing. If my face was not enough then the dress certainly conveyed the ssage. "How am I supposed to go into the kitchen wearing this dress and go unnoticed?"

If I was going to get noticed that it was going to be very difficult for to pour sothing into the drinks in bulk.

She hissed and closed her eyes. "That is true."

I looked around in the small hallway where we stood. There was no way that we would be able to go unnoticed and I could not stay here for a long ti because soone would definitely use this hallway at one point of ti and they would find standing here.

The small bottle felt heavier with the course of ti that kept on increasing. I was not sure how long I could carry it for. It needed to be done now.

"How about," I thought of sothing, "how about I walk in and talk with the head chef about the night and you slip in the contents of the bottle into the wine?"

"It would be easier for you to do so because the attention will be on ."

That was the best of what I could co up with in this situation. Why I would be talking to everyone in the kitchen, Rula could easily walk in sothing into the giant bucket where I hoped they kept their wine like they did in my country when it was to be served in a large quantity.

"I think that would work." She nodded. "It should." She added in a whisper.

Great, she was just as nervous about it as I was and that certainly did not help.

Turning around and away from her, I pulled up my skirts and retrieved the bottle before handing it to her. "Pour the entire bottle." I instructed before handing it to her.

She nodded and took it from . "Alright, are you ready?"

I nodded and she opened the door. The noise flooded into the hallway louder than they had ever been. Even though I had not yet stepped in and I could see people running around to get things done.

Rula walked in first and I followed right after her.

At first no one noticed . It was after one of them asked Rula to move did they notice soone standing in a giant red dress.

"Your highness!"

"Your grace!"

"Oh lord!"

Different voices rang out in the kitchen by different people, none of them really sure on how to greet a royal in the kitchen when there was no notice about it.

"How are all of you?" I stepped in the middle, giving ample space to Rula. "Are you all prepared for tonight?"

"Ye-yes," the chef cleared his throat and repeated, "we are well prepared, your highness."

"Great," I smiled and my eyes glanced to where my partner in cri was standing before I looked back at everyone. "I understand that this will not be a normal feast but whatever shall be left, can be cooked for your consumption."

I could see this relief on the face of The chef as he bowed his head slightly. "Thank you your, highness.’

Rula now stood over the edge of the bucket and I continued the conversation,

"I have my faith in you. You must have hosted many balls in the rule of the previous queen and I am sure that you will do well here too." I smiled at everyone. "Just rember to be careful."

Rula stepped away from the huge bucket and I waved to all of them, "I have to go back to the ballroom. Excuse ."

All of them bowed and I smiled for the last ti before going to the sa way that I had ca into the kitchen from.

I heard footsteps behind and an Instinct flinched and turned only to find a breathless Rula catching up to .

"It’s done," she nodded to and smiled with a dazed look in her eyes, "it’s done."

I nodded back before turning around to find my way out.
