I just stared at the door. It would not take Tristan long to figure out the keywords in the books that I had given to sir Walter. But would he pay attention to sothing so small?

I bit my lip nervously. Why! Why! Why! I pald my entire face.

Now I wondered why I would even do this! What if he found out?

I knew I had to talk to estelle. If I had to decide where I had to go with Tristan’s proposal, then I had to decide after knowing where Estelle stood.

She was family. I had to do this for her.

The door opened and I watched it as I held my breath.

"Your highness,"

Relief flooded inside once I realised that it was Sir Walter. Thank you God.

I nodded for him to step forward.

He entered and placed the books that I had asked him over the small table beside my bed.

I glanced back at the door. No one was standing inside but I was sure that they were keeping an ear out for what was happening inside.

He placed the books there with a small thud and he had also placed a small Quill there as he showed .

Sir Walter fixed his jacket and revealed a small ink pot and the hope inside was ignited. I had idli snatched it from him and placed it under the blanket near my legs.

"If that is all, your grace?" He bowed once again.

"That’s all," I nodded and said further, "you can co tomorrow evening and take one of the books away. I shall provide you with more."

He nodded and walked out.

I let out another breath of relief. I think sir Walter had brought the books as soon as he could because it was still not the evening which ant Marilyn was not going to co check up on and it was not going to be the ti for dinner soon.

I picked out a book at random and almost let out a laugh out at what I saw. Sir Walter head cut pieces of paper that could be kept inside the book without anyone knowing. There were many pieces inside so I could write as much as I wanted to.

I picked up the quill from the other book that it was kept inside. I carefully took out the inkpot and slowly turned its cap. I dipped the end of the Quill and waited to have it pick up the ink.

It felt Dangerous. I was glancing at the door repeatedly because anyone could co in at any ti.

I let out a breath once the ink was done and placed it back after closing the cap.

I plucked out the first piece of paper and kept it on the back of the book. It made my mind rember the first ti Tristan had bought a book for telling how it was sothing new.

’Estelle,

I am writing back to you in good health and hope that you are healthy too. Your letter has reached and I am very happy to hear from you. I hope that this letter reaches you as quickly as possible.’

I picked up another paper and placed this one back.

’estelle whatever you have heard is true. The royal family stonebow has been overthrown but the creatures of night. Howeve. .’

I tutted. The ink was finished. I glanced at the door. I kept my eyes trained on the door as it reached back to the end and dipped my quill in it.

My heart was beating very loudly and I knew that I had to calm it down otherwise soone would know. Marilyn had told about my change in breathing.

I took in deep breaths. God, I wanted to cry. I placed the inkpot back under the blankets after fastening its cap so that the ink would not flow out.

’er. . Due to certain turn of events I can actually provide their help to you. They are more powerful than any army we have ever seen is still and I think we should give him a chance to stand for us against father and Augustus.

We can fight the war for us and I will take care of everything else. I hope to hear from you soon.

Ginn. .’

I sighed and placed the quill down. The ink had finished once again but no matter. Most of the letter was complete.

I process it before I heard. The door opened and I slamd the book shut before pushing the quill into the quilt.

Tristan entered and he stood beside the door. He was watching as I stared at him. He knew. He knew.

"Are you in any pain?" He asked and I stared at him.

"What?" I muttered under my breath. What did he say?

He stepped inside, "are you in any kind of pain? Your cheeks were flushed and so is your skin. Your heart beat is increased as well. Are you unwell?"

He didn’t know, exactly at least.

"No, I am fine." I whispered as I gulped. The book was in my hand but the papers written were with the Quill and I knew by now they were crumbled.

He slowly stepped closer and sat beside my legs and before I knew it he had snatched the book from my lap.

I gasped. "Tristan!" I glared at him and held my hand out. "Give it back." There was still many paper inside.

My heart almost stopped when I saw him looking at the book and flipping the pages before focusing on one hand he started to read the contents out.

"He—oh," Tristan glanced at as a teasing smile ca to his face and his eyes twinkled after a long ti, "well, I have to read this,"

"He was magnificent. If I thought that it was the soldiers that for a well built man I was completely wrong as I looked at the prince. . ."

My eyes widened.

"He stood naked in front . He was lean and did not have a berry like any other villages—"

"Give it!" I scread and moved to him but he turned.

"The phallus stood tall and proud. I was scared now. How would it fit inside ? There was it supposed to go?—"

"Tristan," I scread in embarrassnt andoved before my knee slipped from the side of the bed and I tumbled down onto the floor.
