Ethan lies weakly on the steel bed covered with a thin mattress which makes sleeping very uncomfortable, especially for a rich kid like him, however, Ethan can only bla his stupidity for putting himself in this situation.
Ethan tried to get up but his whole body was weak and his vision was blurry, all because of the dicine Elena injected him with. He had no idea why he would think he could convince Elena to stop all this and do the right thing, not only he was a fool to trust her Elena even dared to imprison him in this place when he said he refused to work for the Aeon.
Now he was in this condition he was scared they would use him again to blackmail his family, Ethan kept cursing himself as an idiot, Lilly was right, even though he was smarter than most people but he was a pathetic simp when it ca to relationships.
Ethan could already imagine Lilly’s mocking smile when she heard what happened to him. Ethan cover his face and groan in frustration.
Out of nowhere, Ethan heard scuffling sound outside the door then a minute later the door was open and a woman with straight black hair and a face like soone from Xiya country entered the room. The woman was wearing a lab coat so Ethan feel apprehensive, he clenched his fist as the woman walk towards him.
"Brown curly hair, dark brown eyes, you must be Ethan Hamilton" Lory holsters her gun so as not to scare Ethan, Lory smile broadly and starts to introduce herself "My na is Raven Jane, your father asked to look for you, what a coincidence I found you here, you are such a lucky guy~"
"Ho...How could I trust you?" Ethan refused to believed Lory easily.
Lory tilted her head and say: "Well, That’s hard to prove, we don’t have signal down here so i cannot called your father, oh by the way I am also quite close with your younger sister, Lilly"
Ethan give sarcastic smile "Ha, yeah right!"
What kind of girl was Lilly, how could a spoiled girl who only spent her ti shopping and hanging out in High-end restaurant with other rich kids would want to be friends with soone like her.
"As if you would have interesting conversation with mys sister" Ethan quipped.
Lory chuckled "Yeah, she has an interesting hobby, I didn’t expect her to have a human sized pillow of King Lucas"
Ethan eyes buldged widely "You are Lilly friend!" he sounds relief and ecstatic
"That what I said" Lory roll her eyes then snatch another bead from her bracelet, "Here take this, this is a health potion" Lory shoved the bead into Ethan’s mouth.
Ethan blushed at the sudden intimate interaction, while Lory on the other hand was just impatient at how slow Ethan was. Soon the beads lted and he gradually regained his strength, not only that, but his head beca much lighter.
"You okay now? we need to get out of here soon!" Lory prompt him to get up from the bed.
"Ye - Yes!" Ethan jump from the bed.
"By the way, where are the others? I checked the other rooms and they’re all empty." Lory frowned in deep concern.
"Are they...? oh no..." Ethan was dumbfounded, after that, his gaze beca tense with guilt "So...no one left"
"What happened with them?" Lory ask.
Ethan shakes his head "I’m not sure, I think they were transferred from other places then they were moved to sowhere else, but I don’t know where...though I can only guess it got sothing to do with that diabolical experint"
"Do you know who are the other prisoners?" Lory asks.
"They were Healers from the S.A.I.N.T. organization. I heard them screaming about their identities and asking why they did this to them." Ethan’s voice trembles as if he rembered their desperate screams.
After everything she knew about the experints conducted by Aeon Lory could already guess what would happen to all those prisoners, anger boiled in her heart, unfortunately, she didn’t have ti for this because now she had to focus on her current mission, which was to save Ethan Hamilton, "Let’s go, we have to leave this place, move!" Lory gestured for Ethan to follow her.
"O - Okay!" Ethan obediently followed Lory, even though he felt a little awkward following a girl who was half a head shorter than him.

Elsewhere, a private jet landed at the airport, the door opened then a man in a dark suit ca down the stairs, his face was hidden behind a long hooded coat but anyone could guess the handso figure wrapped in the coat but the cold aura he gave off made no one dare to approach him.
"Thank you for flying with our airline," said the flight attendant who served Zhao Li Xin.
Zhao Li Xin left with his backpack without saying a word.
The flight attendant puffed her cheeks in relief as she could feel the tension that had been weighing her down finally release, this flight felt much longer thually was. She had served many rich people before but she had never t a rich person with such an overbearing aura like Mr. Zhao.
The man was utterly gorgeous like an ancient god in a painting but his aura was colder than an iceberg! She couldn’t even breathe if she was too close to him, therefore even though there were three flight attendants on the plane, but the task of serving Mr. Zhao was given to her alone as the most senior flight attendant, but the truth is the other junior was already afraid by the man aura.
A silver sports sedan car suddenly stopped in front of Zhao Li Xin, a second later a man with black suit got out of the car then walk toward Zhao Li Xin and bowed his head courteously before he handed the car card key to Zhao Li Xin.
"It’s a gift from Mr.Covington" the man said.
Zhao Li Xin accepted the card key and then gave a faint nod to the man, "Send my regards to Mr. Covington"
"Safe travel, Sir" the man give polite nod.
Zhao Li Xin threw his backpack on the passenger seat as he entered the car, after which he checked his phone to see if there were any ssages from Lory but instead he was greeted by a news notification on his phone.
He clicked on the news and a female reporter reported the news "...An attack occurred at the Aeon institution building, it is estimated that this is a terrorist attack, many of the—"
Zhao Li xin turned off the news and took a heavy sigh "Lory..."
The situation seed worse than what Lory dared to tell him, his wife lied to him again, just see if he found her injured, he wouldn’t let her get away so easily again! Zhao Li Xin started the engine and stepped on the gas pedal.

A mont later his phone rang. Hadius picked up his cell phone, then spoke in a businesslike tone, "Bellerophon, how can I help you?"
A familiar voice answered, "You did, I appreciate the information."
"Glad I could help... but I’m surprised you ca to Brinwell," Hadius said.
"Yes, we are investigating sothing very important, by the way do you have any information about Aeon?" Jay asked
Hadius startled "You want to investigate Aeon?"
"Yes, do you have any important information you can share?"
Hadius paused then a knowing smile spread across his face then subconsciously muttered "It’s amazing how fate works..."
"Hadius?" Jay was confused.
"...I know why you want to investigate Aeon, it’s about Bael right?" Hadius guessed.
"Yes" Jay replied.
"Forget that, there are more important things in Aeon" Hadius said in a firm voice, "There’s a group of people has infiltrated the Aeon for the sa reason you are, among them is a woman nad Raven Jane, find her and protect her at all costs"
Jay exchanged questioning glances with Clift "It’s unusual for you to care about people outside of your family and Lucient..."
"She is a family..." Hadius voice was gentle and shrouded with a hint of lancholy.
Jay Frown "She’s from Alvette’s family?"
Hadius turn his eyes back to the big screen in front of him, "Right now there’s an attack on the Aeon institution building, and she and her group are involved with it"
"The terrorist?" Jay said in a playful tone.
A faint tremor of amusent spread across Hadius’s face "She’s a lot of things, but terorrist is not one of them"
"Since you valued her so much, we will help her, just curious, do you think she would have important information for us?" this ti Clift is the one that brought up the question.
"Yes, and so much more..." Hadius voice deepened.
Clift felt Hadius was hiding sothing but he did not force him to reveal it because he believed Hadius would not do sothing that would hurt the Lucient family.
"Alright, send us information about the group, we will protect it"
"Just be hurry" Hadius stare at the explosion in Aeon and his expression hardened "Don’t be late this ti"
