One morning Fargo suddenly burst into the King’s study room in hasted he even forgot to knock, Fredhardt who was accompanying Lory at the office turn his head at Fargo with a reproachful look, "Soone needs to learn so manners again" Fredhardt scolded.
Fargo raised his hands in surrender "Sorry - sorry, but you guys have to see this!" He shove the tablet on front of Lory.
Fredhardt and Lory exchanged puzzle looks, after which Lory put down the docunts and took the tablet from Fargo’s hands, "What happened, Fargy?" Lory looked at the tablet containing a video image.
"Do you rember you told the digital forensics departnt to fix your friend Garrof’s video footage?"
Lory narrowed her eyes "Yes, is there a problem?"
Fargo’s expression turned heavy "Big ti, just play the video"
Lory swiped her index finger on the tablet screen, and then the image from the tablet screen floated into the air into a hologram screen for everyone to see. Fargo then got behind her and tapped the screen for a few seconds "Let enlarge the screen...that’s it"
In the video, a man fight with a group of n in black uniforms alone. However, even though the man was alone, he easily defeated dozens of n in black uniforms in a very short ti possibly not even breaking a sweat.
The man’s face was not shown clearly and only his back was visible, plus the video was a bit blurry and quite dark because it was taken at night in the alley, even so, they imdiately recognized the man’s back.
"Wait a minute... isn’t that..." Lory gasped while pointing her finger at the screen.
"Damm*t old man, what did you do?!" Fredhardt scowled.
"Uncle Stevie!" Lory exclaid.
"Thank goodness you all saw the sa thing as I did, for a mont I thought my eyes were playing tricks on " Fargo took a deep breath then put his hands on his hips "At least we know who taken Serena Shawn now"
"Bu... but why?" Lory was perplexed.
"Let’s just ask!" Fredhardt reached into his pocket then took out his cell phone and pressed the call button. Fredhardt impatiently waited , alas, he was answered by a female robot voice soon after Fred cursed angrily"That sneaky old man still doesn’t pick up!"
"Well, it doesn’t seem like Serena was kidnapped by force, My guess is Serena was chased by those n in black, do you think they are Argus agents?" At least Lory could say that for sure.
"Yes, most likely so, we know Serena is still on Dolza and Luxemborough’s wanted list" Fredhardt also had the sa conclusion as Lory.
Fargo thought for a mont then said, "Do you have any idea why your father took Serena Shawn or where they are now?"
Fredhard clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Beats , you know he never turns on his phone when on missions and neither do the people around him. But they are Noxcra agents so as Archknights, we have the authority to get their location through the tracking devices on their bodies, right?"
Fargo narrowed his eyes and nodded, "Hm, you’re right, I’ll check their location, right now!" Fargo took long strides towards the door while making the call, his boisterous steps moving away, the room beco quiet again.
Lory turns at Fredhardt. "Why do you think Uncle Stevie wants from Serena?"
Lory turned to Fredhardt. "What do you think Uncle Stevie wants from Serena?" Fredhardt crossed his arms over his chest, staring at the floor. "I don’t know, but she must have sothing really important that he had to pick her up personally."
Lory propped her chin with both hands and said: "Regardless, I’m glad Serena is with Uncle Stevie, at least I know she’s not in danger whatsoever."
"That’s what we know for sure," Fredhardt knew Lory considered Serena as one of her people, so it was understandable for her to be concerned for Serena’s safety.
"I still wonder what Uncle Stevie is up to, I’m guessing it’s sothing very dangerous, so much so he even hiding it from you." Lory was now worried about Stephan’s safety.
"Too dangerous...for us?" Fredhardt points to him while giving a ’are you serious’ look at Lory
Lory tilted her head and pouted, "Have you forgotten what it was like before I ca along? You were all stressed and overwheld with Lucas’s dire situation at the sa ti trying to run the country. Maybe Uncle Stevie thinks you all have enough on your plate and he doesn’t want to add another problem. After all, he is your Father"
Fredhardt curled his lips downward but didn’t refute it. "I don’t know, maybe..." Fredhardt strangely refused to acknowledged Stephan’s fatherly love.
"So stubborn, like father - like son" Lory teased.
Fredhardt rolls his eyes. "Anyway, I managed to move the plenary eting back, and it will be held tomorrow morning, Are you ready?"
Lory leaned back in her chair and opened her arms casually as she said: "I just need to show up, right?"
Fredhardt Couldn’t wait to see everyone’s faces when they saw Lory alive and well, so people were making unnecessary fuss about Lory’s identity and where she had been all this ti but that was a small matter, after all, Lucient’s authority was absolute and the Archknigts would make sure of that.
"Yes, don’t forget to dressed to killed." Fred walked towards the door while waving his hand, he added, "And make sure, there’s chocolate between your teeth."
"WHAT?!" Lory imdiately took the pocket mirror to check her teeth, then realized that she was lied by Fredhardt.
"That’s not nice, Fred!" Lory shouted angrly, then she hear Fredhardt’s laughter burst before gradually fading away.
Lory was secretly relieved that Fredhardt’s mood had improved a lot compared to when she first arrived and not only Fredhardt, Fargo, Jay, and Clift had also cald down after they assured Lucas could be saved.
They all thanked her, but Lory knew full well that this wouldn’t have happened without Zhao Li Xin’s help. It was truly a blessing for her to et Zhao Li Xin because the man had helped her solve all her problems since the day they t, furthermore, he had changed her fate.
Lory suddenly missed her handso husband, she checked the watch on her wrist then she got up from her chair and strides of the Royal Study.
Zhao Li Xin had returned to the Cryo room right after it was repaired to continue cultivating and after two days he decided to take a break and let his Qi flow naturally.
However, this world was different from the cultivator world where spiritual energy was denser. In fact, the most ideal place was inside the mystical realm inside his spatial ring.
However, he had changed the inside of the ring to maintain Lucas’ condition, so it was not ideal for him to cultivate there for the ti being.
When he ca out of the Cryo room, Lory coincidentally just ca while holding a towel for him.
Zhao Li Xin’s cold expression instantly lted like a hot spring, "You’ve finished your work?"
The truth is he felt sorry seeing how busy Lory was every day. No wonder she always avoided Hei Shen sect matters unless absolutely necessary. Maybe Lory knew that only in that world could she live a carefree life without burden. Unfortunately, in this world, she could not escape her responsibilities and obligations as a royal family.

After a while, Lory suddenly breaks the news, "Xin...I will attend the plenary eting tomorrow,"
"Are you nervous?" Zhao Li Xin could see the anxiety in her eyes.
Lory tilted her head and looked at him curiously, "You can tell?"

They got into the elevator and went straight to the floor where Lory’s chamber was. After showering and changing into a comfortable dark blue sweater and khaki pants, Zhao Li Xin joined Lory on the balcony.
"I’m not good at brewing tea, but I have many kinds of tea collection. I don’t know if you like this one. it’s Earl Grey tea" Lory slowly pushed the tea cup in front of Zhao Li Xin.
Imdiately the scent of flowers wafted into his nose, "If it’s good enough for you, it’s good enough for ." Zhao Li Xin sat across from Lory and began to sip his tea. "Not bad," he comnted before taking another sip.
Lory wasn’t sure if Zhao Li Xin said that to please her, then again, Zhao Li Xin always went along with everything she did unless it involved her safety.
Zhao Li Xin knew Lory was thinking about sothing, so he put down his teacup before speaking seriously. "So, what’s your problem, my wife?"
Lory used to be tough in front of everyone because she understood her position as a royal family, but in front of Zhao Li Xin, she could show her weak and vulnerable side.
"I... I don’t know what they will think of , not that I care about their opinions, but I’m afraid that with Lucas’ absence, their loyalty will be shaken and everything will beco a ss, if that happens, I don’t know how to explain this to Luc when he wakes up."
"I don’t think your brother would bla you" Zhao Li Xin had heard about Lucas from the conversation with Fargo so more or less he knew what kind of man Lucas was so he didn’t worried.
"Perhaps..." Lory beca disquiet and her shoulders slumped beside him.
Zhao Li Xin could see that Lory was still worried about it. "What is still bothering you?"

"I think you can use this as an opportunity to remove the rotten seed growing in your kingdom before its roots spread further and ruin your garden. If that happens, it will be even more troubleso..." Zhao Li Xin spoke in a cold and calm tone.
Even though it sounds heartless and cold, Lory knows that what Zhao Li Xin said makes sense and she was assured Fredhardt would agree with Zhao Li Xin’s opinion, and as the leader of the country, Lory must get rid of her sentints and emotion to make a right decision.
"Many of them have served my father and brother, so it would be hard for if they turn out to be not the people I expected..." Lory said with a heavy heart.
"People can change Lory and for those who hold on to their morals and principles, they are the ones you must protect at all costs, and if you doubt yourself you can turn to your brothers and for help," Zhao Li Xin smile was soothing her heart like a cold wind on a hot sumr day.
Lory felt better after letting out her frustrations and squeezed Zhao Li Xin’s hand, "I understand, thank you Li Xin"
