Lory didn’t think it was a bad idea, but she needed to talk to Victor about it. "Let call you back," she hung up and walked over to Victor.
"There is a way to save you from all this, but keep in mind it will be risky. But I think you can trust my word more than Arlo Chawthorne’s, don’t you think?"
"Not only but all my subordinates are affected by this cursed device, right?" This is what Victor hoped for though he didn’t show it in his face.
"Obviously?" Lory replied firmly.
Victor lowered his gaze, even though this was the best option for them, it would still be a risky move to challenge Luxemborough. However, he could not trust a country that used undermining tricks to force them to submit.
The choice is clear, Victor raised his gaze "So what’s the plan?"
Lory sat on the chair across from them, she crossed her legs and said in a calm and clear tone, "I have soone who has in-depth knowledge of the device in your head so he will help you find a way to remove it from your head, but it will take ti and you need to find a reasonable excuse to avoid suspicion from Luxemborough spies and the underground Guild" Lory said honestly.
Victor appreciated the mysterious girl’s honesty but sothing was still bothering him. He still didn’t know who the woman was.
"Since we are being honest here how about you tell who you are, at least I need to know the na of the person I made a deal with"
Lory chuckled "If I tell you then not only are you risking your life but also the fate of the World Guild Association, are you sure about that" There’s a warning hinted in her voice.
Victor could feel cold sweat running down his back, but he had no plans of backing down he rather knew what was coming to him, "I think I’ve already risked everything by eting you guys here, I have nothing more to fear..."
Fred smiled in vague amusent as if he was about to watch a show. Lory fixed her sitting posture suddenly clapped her hands and cheerfully said "Well, if you say so..."
Lory lowered her hoodie then pulled her long blue hair out of the robe and let it fall naturally on her shoulders then she took off her mask afterward a pair of beautiful purple eyes darted towards Victor and his subordinates.
"I don’t think I need to introduce myself, right?" she grinned.
Victor and his subordinates were dumbstricken, their jaws dropped to their chest and their eyes bulged wide as if they were about to jump out of their sockets.
Lory extended her hand to Victor and smiled, "This will be a pleasant collaboration, Mr. Kross"
"Aaa..." Victor was paralyzed by shock, he couldn’t speak.
Fred chuckles lightly "Give him a ti, Your Highness"
"Oh?... Okay," Lory kindly waited.

A fierce battle between a human and a ferocious Belgrion continued. Two types of fire clashed and exploded, naturally lting the surrounding volcanic rocks, and the temperature in the cave rose rapidly.
Belgrion flew in the air while flapping its wide wings and letting out a nacing roar at Zhao Li Xin before it dived abruptly at lightning speed like a giant torpedo. Zhao Li Xin swiftly jumped into the air and then kicked the scattered rocks that floating in the air because of the heavy impact.
Belgrion montarily flinched at the continuous hits from the rock, and that was when Zhao Li Xin took the opportunity to swing his sword at the beast and managed to scare it face.
Blood flowed down from the face of the beast which then caused its rage to erupt like molten lava. Belgrion twisted its giant body and then swung its tail at Zhao Li Xin.
Zhao Li Xin could feel a heavy blow coming from the front, he imdiately took a step back and then pressed his foot down deeply into the ground before he lunged like a catapult and slashed the beast’s tail, although he failed to cut it but he managed to injure the tail quite a lot that the beast lost its balance and fell to the ground but then the beast spat out a fire breath at him.
Zhao Li Xin took a long backflip to avoid the fire breath, once he landed on his feet he examined the state of Belgrion carefully, he knew the beast was getting weaker so he focused his qi on his sword, and before the fire launched another attack he strikes first.
From a distance Fargo witnessed the fight with sparkling eyes, the corners of his lips curved into an exciting grin when the fight between Zhao Li Xin and Belgrion beca more intense he could feel the sweat drip from his neck and back because of the intense heat even though he already used the Fire resistant charm.
Fargo swung the giant sword to his shoulder while behind him nurous beasts scattered in pieces all over the places covered with fresh blood oozing from their dead body.
To make sure no one interferes with Zhao Li Xin’s fight, Fargo clears out the other monsters that co. However, while enjoying Zhao Li Xin’s fight with Belgrion, he hears heavy footsteps slowly approaching from behind.
Fargo turned around then saw a giant beast with an ugly flat face and body covered with a scale like a plate. The beast huffed and puffed as its eyes fixed on Fargo’s figures.
"Tsk, pest!" He snorted in annoyance, "Don’t disturb my brother-in-law having fun, you ugly pest!"
As if it understood Fargo chided the beast letting out an angry roar then without further ado the beast ramd toward him. Fargo swung his sword and then lunged at the beast, "Party Poopers!" Fargo hit the Beast right on his giant head with his sword.
While Fargo was busy entertaining the uninvited Beast, Zhao Li Xin continued to fight Belgrion and they both released fire at the sa ti. Belgrion spat out fire breath while Zhao Li Xin released immortal fire from his palm and both fires exploded in the air.
Zhao Li Xin moved zigzag to shorten the distance between them but the Beast swung its wings at him although Zhao Li Xin managed to block it with his barrier still he was thrown violently to the ground, but he quickly stuck his sword into the ground to control his falling after that he spun to the air and landed a hard kick on the Beast head.
The Beast’s body twisted from the blow but the resilient Beast refused to give up, he swung his tail however, and this ti Zhao Li Xin transferred all his Qi onto his sword then he moved swiftly like an elegant crane, in a second he cut the Beast’s tail cleanly and the Beast let out an excruciating howl.
Without it, the beast lost its balance but still tried to stand up straight, of course, Zhao Li Xin would not give the beast a chance to recover. Zhao Li Xin landed on the ground smoothly then stuck his sword into the ground to give it a break then he raised his arm and opened wide soon after his entire body was engulfed in blazing dark purplish flas.
Zhao Li Xin control the fla then the flas were sucked into his palms as if his hand is a vacuum then he clenched his fists tightly when it done.
He let out a long exhale then he opened his palms soon after thousands of fire petals flew out spinning like a tornado then shot like teors and pierced through Belgrion’s wings.
It didn’t take long for the giant wings to be torn apart and the sll of burning perated the air anwhile, the beast flapped its wings frantically trying to extinguish the fire that devoured its wings but it was in vain, instead, it burned faster and faster until more than half of the giant wings were burned and the beast fell heavily to the ground.
When the stubborn beast tried to get up again, all of a sudden its entire body was wrapped by fiery strings that erged from the ground. The beast roared as it struggled to free itself, but the strings that held it only beca tighter and tighter to the point it sank into the beast’s thick scales. The beast groaned in pain and blood poured out profusely from its body after so much resistance the beast finally stopped moving and collapsed weakly, exhausted, like a fly trapped in a spider’s web.
Zhao Li Xin stands with his hands clasped behind his back, he looks down at his prey with indifference anwhile the beast whimpers, breathing heavily.
"You are indeed a powerful beast" Zhao Li Xin knelt on one knee in front of the beast. "Your death will not be in vain, your power will beco a part of ."
Zhao Li Xin closed his eyes then the reddish aura ca out of the beast’s body slowly absorbed by Zhao Li Xin at the sa ti the energy around Zhao Li Xin grew and strengthened every second even Fargo who was in the distance could feel it.
Fargo watched from afar right after he managed to kill the annoying beast. He looked at Zhao Li Xin then shook his head and muttered in a half-joking tone, "Lory - Lory - Lory, what kind of monster did you bring back again this ti"
Belgrion’s fire essence matched the Blazing Fire Wolf Essence so it took Zhao Li Xin half an hour to absorb all the creature’s power. After it was done, of course, Belgrion died and Zhao Li Xin imdiately started ditating to regulate the chaotic energy in his body.
Fargo went to Zhao Li Xin to check on his condition once he saw his face covered in sweat and pale Fargo beca worried but he didn’t dare to disturb him for fear of making things worse. Fargo then planted a protective barrier around Zhao Li Xin so no one would disturb him after that he turned towards a rock that was flat enough for him to sit on, Fargo dropped his butt on the rock then waited for Zhao Li Xin.
