"I don't understand, my light… it fades."

The Old One died confused, even in the end, Serathis' hold never left him, and he could not see nor comprehend the poison that was sapping him of his soul essence, draining him dry like he had done with countless dinsions in the past.

With his death, a cry rippled across all of reality, and Rowan knew that in many dinsions, they had just been notified that an Old One had perished. Before he had reached the fifth-dinsional level and his understanding of space had beco extrely powerful, this profound ripple that happened would have been easily missed, and if he had not beco an Eclipsed Creator, he would not have instinctively known that this cry of Drakul was heard by two other Old Ones, the last holders of his mory.

If he wanted to truly ensure that Drakul was going to die, then he would have to kill these two Old Ones, and then to ensure they died he would have to kill everyone who knew them, and so on and so forth, otherwise, slowly and surely, all of the Old Ones would return. Rowan was finally acknowledging the reason for a prison like the Great Desert, killing Old Ones was nearly an impossible task.

Perhaps if he finally fully activated his Origin Land and the powers of his new Origin bloodlines then he would have a thod to silence the Old One once and for all.

Despite all of this, Rowan knew that everything was changing, faster than what any immortals were used to, and Rowan was at the center of it all, and there was no other place he would rather be.

At the spot where the Old One perished, sothing started to ripple out from reality; it was barely discernible and was already fading, but Rowan's sight had caught it, and he stretched out his arm, his body blurring forward, and he seized it. Whatever it was struggled to escape from his grip, but Rowan only exerted more force until it gave. Opening his palm, he saw that it was a small piece of red armor that resembled a red tallic spider with dozens of legs that had been crushed by his grip; it was still waving them around and letting out tiny squeaks as if it were in pain.

"Bloodmort… Hmm, it seems that Drakul was far closer to success than I gave him credit for. Well, he no longer needs this armor, but I do, another bonus by the side to sweeten the pot is a good deal."

Even if Drakul was awakened in the future, his powers would be weakened, and if he dared respond to the Call of another Old One, he might have to be their slave for who knows how long; how could the pride of an Old One allow them to beco slaves? Gothra'Inul had chosen an unknown Fate under Rowan to beco the slave of a fragnt of a Primordial.

Satisfied with the ability of Serathis, Rowan left his dinsional soul to deal with the remnants of the battle inside here while he headed to see his children and appraise them of the next part of his plan.

The death of Drakul necessitates that he proceed more quickly; ti is running out.

Staff was pacing around, her white hair dancing under an invisible current, and she stopped and suddenly spoke aloud,

"Is it okay if we are sitting around like this? It's not been more than a few monts; barely a minute has gone by; I think we should join him in battle; any assistance that we can make may just be what he needs to win. I can't just sit here and let him fight all alone." Staff was looking at the Lady of Shadows whose head was bowed in thought, looking up, Eva distractedly replied to the concerned woman, "Oh, he would be fine, he knows how to take care of these things by now. I am more curious about this eting he is calling for and what it would an for all of us going forward; I can no longer anticipate his plan. Don't worry Staff, he will handle the Old One, and I bet in far less ti than you think." "Handle?!" Staff blurted out, outage in her face, "This is an Old One; I know that Rowan has faced them in the past, but that was not so long ago; surely he would need ti to recover; who knows how much resources he has already spent to win that last battle? I don't think we should leave him alone at a ti like this. Vraegar, Andar, what do you say?" The Dragon simply yawned and looked away, a haunting look in his eyes and Andar holding Cloudy in his hands who had shrunk down to be the size of a kitten so that he could pet him, shrugged, his eyes downcasted as he focused on healing any injuries that may be left behind inside the body of his companion, but he had long discovered that there was nothing, instead Cloudy who should have lost a trendous amount of Essence was thriving, better than before, as if Rowan in an instant not only solved the issue of the Old One's possession, he had strengthened the Cloud Whale further.

Andar patted the head of Cloudy while replying to Staff,

"As much as I hate to say it, I think we are out of our league, going after him would cause more harm than good, I know you think we may have a chance in a battle that he is fighting, seeing as he is on the sa dinsional level like and you, but that is far from the truth."

Andar looked at the dissatisfaction in the eyes of Staff and he sighed, "I can tell you that in the instant he transported himself and that Old One to another dinsion, he moved them so far away that it would take three months to get there, and for you, it would take you at least a century. Tell , Staff, even if I decide to help him, how can we get there in ti? Even his most powerful Angels would take a few days to reach that place. How can we fight a battle that we cannot reach?"

Staff looked shaken, "But you… your dinsions… your speed is supposed to be unrivaled. "

"My speed is nothing before him," Andar whispered to himself, "We are all nothing." Vraegar by the side suddenly burst into laughter, "So you now understand how it feels, wonder boy; you have your fancy tower and your many worlds, but then you see that mountain in front of you…"

The voice of the dragon went low as if his thought had been taken far away, his fangs were bared, "You see that mountain and you think, this is sothing that would take the most of my life for to reach for the top, it would be extrely difficult, the chance of failing along the way would be monuntal, but if I get to the top, then everything would be perfect, then I can stand beside him, to see what he sees, then you get to the mountain and the sight is vast, better than your imagination could ever have made it, but he is not there. You look to the heavens, and he is not there; you look outside the heavens, and he is not there. He has gone beyond your comprehension, there is nothing you can see, nothing you can do, no path ahead that can ever take you on his road, you cannot even admire his strength from afar, because you don't understand that strength, you understand nothing, you know nothing, hahaha… how does it feel brother, to stand under the light of our father and know that we are not worthy of his na."
