Chapter 125: Land and Sky I
The skies cried out with glory.
Glory!
Blue flas of terrifying intensity joined the transformation, sacred fire rging with the golden light of the Simba Lineage and the white radiance of the Wings of the Radiant Dawn. Three powers that should never have existed within the sa body combined into sothing unprecedented, sothing that had never occurred in the history of the Lands of Stone.
His form began to change.
Bones cracked and reford painfully, enlarging unfathomably.
Muscles tore and reconstituted into new configurations.
His skin stretched and covered with fur the color of captured sunlight, golden strands that seed to glow with inner radiance. His body expanded, growing larger and larger until he towered over the space where he had stood as a human!
A massive lion took shape where Damian Vakochev had been.
Nine tails erupted from his lower back, each one crackling with golden Mana that left trails of light in the air behind them. They moved with independent purpose, whipping and curling and striking at nothing as if testing their existence.
A mane ford around his head and neck, but this was no ordinary mane.
Blue flas composed it entirely, sacred fire from the Primordial Tongue burning in place of hair. The flas roared around his leonine features without scorching them, casting everything nearby in brilliant blue-gold radiance that pushed back the crimson corruption of the demon’s domain.
And from his back, wings spread wide.
Radiant white-gold feathers extended outward, each one defined with precision that spoke of power beyond mortal comprehension!
Oh!
Oh!!
They stretched dozens of ters in either direction, catching currents of Mana rather than wind, keeping his massive form aloft.
His eyes remained winged pupils, but now they crackled with tendrils of blue fla that leaked from their corners like tears of sacred fire. They saw everything. They perceived flows of Mana and corruption and reality itself with clarity that his human eyes could never have achieved.
The transformation completed!
And Damian roared!
The sound was nothing human.
It was the declaration of a king reclaiming his throne. It was the fury of a predator facing sothing that dared to threaten what was his. It was the defiance of a young man who had lost everything and refused to lose anything more!
The roar carried power.
Winds of blue and gold and white began to gather around him, currents of energy responding to his presence as if he had always been ant to command them. The winds swirled and condensed and then shot forward toward the corrupted region ahead.
Where they touched the crimson light, the corruption lted.
The toxic energies that had seed so overwhelming monts ago began to dissolve before the combined power of three sources that predated demonkind itself!
Sacred fla. Noble sovereignty. Radiant dawn. Together, they pushed back against corruption that had consud everything else!
Damian felt the transformation from inside.
Above him, rivers of Mana surged in from every direction, pouring into this new form and filling every aspect of it with power that seed limitless. His concentrations of energy increased tens of tis over, reserves expanding to accommodate a body that was fundantally different from the human shell he had worn monts ago.
It was so surreal he couldn’t even explain it.
He felt like he could control the wind in the skies. The currents responded to his thoughts, bending and shifting according to his will without conscious effort. He thought about them moving, and they moved. Simple as breathing.
Land and Sky Physique.
Land. Sky! Many did not truly understand what these simple words ant!
He felt like he could conjure flas from his mane. The sacred fire that composed it wasn’t rely decorative. It was a weapon waiting to be unleashed, an endless reservoir of blue destruction that could be shaped and directed however he desired.
He felt like his chest burned like a forge that wanted to breathe out destructive flas and other terrifying wonders. Sothing ancient lived within his ribcage now, power accumulated across generations of the Simba Lineage combining with the Primordial Tongue into sothing that begged to be released.
He could sense the land below responding to his presence, stone and soil and the bones of the earth itself recognizing him as sothing they should obey.
He could feel the sky above welcoming him, air and wind and the vast expanse of the heavens acknowledging him as a creature that belonged among them.
He felt so many things all at once that it was overwhelming.
But overwhelming was exactly what he needed right now!
---
Masamuk looked at the transformation of Damian in utter shock.
For a mont, just a single heartbeat of ti, he thought Tiaret’s father had appeared in the skies as he was scared shitless.
If that guy knew what he had been upto with his daughter...he was very scared of him!
That massive golden form. Those nine tails crackling with sovereign power. That mane of... well, the mane was blue flas rather than golden fire, but everything else was unmistakable. The proportions. The bearing. The sheer weight of presence that pressed down upon everything nearby.
This was the form of the rare Noble Simba Lineage, and even more than that.
Among all the Beast Lords and Noble Beasts that populated the Sacred Mountains, the Simba Lineage stood apart. They were not rely powerful. They were royalty royalty!
When the ancient wars against demonkind had raged across the Lands of Stone, it was the Simba Lineage that had led the charge. When the boundaries of the River of The World had been established, it was the Simba Lineage that had stood at the forefront among others.
And Masamuk knew their forms intimately.
Because the man who had told him to stop giving his daughter foolish dreams wore exactly this shape when he wanted to intimidate.
The form Damian took was identical to Tiaret’s father.
Those sa proportions. That sa golden radiance. That sa overwhelming sense of sovereignty that made lesser beings want to kneel simply by existing in its presence.
The only thing the Tokoloshe was missing right now was...
ROOOAAARRR!
Damian roared again, and the skies answered.
Golden winds erupted into existence, currents of Mana-saturated air that swirled and condensed above the battlefield. Golden clouds ford from nothing, massive accumulations of power that blocked out the crimson corruption the demon had spread.
The heavens themselves were being reshaped by the will of a being that had been human re monts ago.
And in his roaring, sothing else descended.
Crackling golden tendrils of lightning as thick as Ancestral Pillars plunged from those golden clouds toward the Kishi Demon. They were not ordinary lightning. They burned with the sa sovereign radiance as Damian’s transford body, carrying judgnt and destruction in equal asure.
The demon looked up incredulously!
