Chapter 1856: 922 Grand Wedding (two taels combined into one)_2

Gu Changqing looked at him coldly.

He shrank his neck and awkwardly changed the subject, “Brother, didn’t we agree to go to Bishui Alley today? That girl has been back for two days already, resting.”

The implication was that they could now go visit.

Gu Changqing raised his eyebrows and suddenly said with a bit of pride, “I saw Jiaojiao yesterday.”

Gu Chengfeng’s eyes widened, “What? Didn’t we agree to go today? You actually went behind my back—”

Gu Changqing said, “Who asked you not to go when Grandfather called you into the palace? I went with Grandfather and happened to et her when we returned.”

Gu Chengfeng felt like he missed a billion-dollar opportunity and was completely at a loss!

Especially since his brother was still flaunting it.

Really!

Brother, are you this childish!

Gu Changqing glanced at his brother, proudly walked away.

Gu Chengfeng gritted his teeth and went back to his courtyard.

As he was packing, Gu Chenglin ca over.

“Why are you up so early today? Are you going to school?” he asked.

Gu Chenglin scratched his head, “It’s a holiday today.”

“Oh, then Gu Yan is on holiday too.” He said, opening the cabinet and stuffing more things into his bundle, “I don’t know if the Guozijian has off too.”

“They have off too,” Gu Chenglin said.

Gu Chengfeng forgot to ask how he knew, and continued to pack more things into his bundle, “Later I’m going out with big brother, you stay at ho and study.”

“Oh.” Gu Chenglin lowered his head.

“What’s wrong?” Gu Chengfeng noticed sothing off in his brother’s mood.

Gu Chenglin hesitated before speaking, “…Nothing, I’m going to study.”

“Strange.” Gu Chengfeng watched his brother’s retreating back, finished packing the ornate box, and went to et his brother at the main gate.

It was rare for Xiaojingkong to have a day off, so Xuanyuan Qi and Liao Chen also ca over.

Liao Chen was dragged over by his dad, otherwise, he didn’t want to face that little monk who was better at reciting scriptures than even the abbot.

Xuanyuan Qi was teaching three little boys martial arts in the backyard, while Liao Chen lounged on a vine chair nearby.

Gu Xiaobao was taken by Yu Yaya to find Granny Zhou’s little grandson, and Gu Jiao went to the dical Hall.

The Yao Family was in the kitchen making snacks for the children.

Xuanyuan Qi was teaching a basic introductory boxing technique, demonstrating it once, and then teaching each move one by one.

Xiaojingkong learned the fastest, followed by Gu Xiaoshun, and Gu Yan was the slowest, almost not learning it at all.

Xuanyuan Qi saw that all three kids were sweating profusely and knew it was enough for today.

Xiaojingkong’s talent surprised him; Xiaoliu really left an excellent descendant for the Xuanyuan Family.

The two brothers ca to the backyard, greeted Xuanyuan Qi and his son, then greeted Gu Xiaoshun and the others, and finally went to the kitchen to pay respects to the Yao Family.

“Big brother, big brother! Look at doing my boxing!”

Xiaojingkong couldn’t wait to show Gu Changqing his newly learned boxing technique.

Both Gu Changqing and Lord Xuanping had taught Xiaojingkong so martial arts in the past, so he learned a wide variety, but practiced each one very well.

He was a diligent kid.

He perford smoothly and skillfully.

“Wow, not bad,” Gu Chengfeng exaggerated.

Xiaojingkong nodded like a chick pecking rice, “Yes, yes! I learned the best!”

Gu Xiaoshun wasn’t very familiar with a few movents, and practiced silently on the side, while Xuanyuan Qi occasionally corrected him.

Only Gu Yan sulked and went back to the room.

Gu Changqing followed, and sympathetically said from behind him, “Actually, I also know this boxing technique, I can teach you.”

Gu Yan turned his head away, snorting, “Who wants to learn?”

The moves earlier didn’t require much space, so Gu Changqing demonstrated them right in the room.

Even though Gu Yan initially pretended not to care, he gradually beca interested.

“Try it,” Gu Changqing said to him.

“I’m not trying,” Gu Yan refused to embarrass himself in front of Gu Changqing.

Gu Changqing smiled gently, lifted Gu Yan’s arm, helping him into the starting position.

“I said I’m not practicing…”

“Tighten your waist and abdon.” His long fingers touched Gu Yan’s soft belly, while the other hand touched his slim back.

Gu Yan involuntarily took a deep breath.

“Like this.” Gu Changqing moved behind him, grabbing his arm, guiding him through the first move.

He leaned in his brother’s embrace, feeling the details of each move, “Is that how it’s done?”

When he watched, he could only see either the front or the back and always found it hard to piece together. But being guided through it by Gu Changqing, he had a sudden mont of clarity.
