Chapter 59: Chapter 59 – It’s true, its Matilda

"Gentlen, please excuse

for a minute,"

Robin said and stood up without waiting for a response. By his own rules, no one was supposed to answer his or her phone since this was a brainstorming eting. His executive mbers looked on bewildered whiles he entered his inner office. Then he dialed Daniel’s number.

"Are you sure about what you are saying?" Robin did not believe that Sabrina would go on a romantic date with Martin. It was normal to have lunch or supper together but not what Daniel had sent via text ssage.

"Yes. The spy tipped one of her employees who was there when Devin and Martin arrived at Sabrina’s office. She was asked to leave but eavesdropped on their conversation. She said that Sabrina thanked Martin for helping out a friend and he asked for a real date in return," Daniel inford, Robin could feel his blood boil before it suddenly cooled and he asked,

"Did it an that their relationship was also fake?"

"That is what it seems but I think Martin wants to move fast. He is doing everything possible to win her heart. This is just my thought anyway, there is no proof to it," Daniel clarified, just in case Robin began to ask him for proof.

"Send

the location," Robin said hastily since he had to return to the eting.

"It’s not until the weekend," Daniel said calmly but Robin insisted,

"Still send it together with the date and ti."

"Alright but what do you intend to do?" Daniel asked out of curiosity and to also know how to offer his help but Robin only said and asked,

"If you want to know? You could co but have you made progress with Lizzy?"

There was a second pause on the line before Robin said, "Well, after the fa you gave both their companies, the sisters are quite busy. I want to wait till the pressure reduces."

"Alright. I have to go back to my eting."

Back at the office, Sabrina was so excited when Devin ca to pick her from the office. "You are sure that Tilda is in your house?" She asked again.

Devin smiled and responded, "I haven’t seen her myself but yes, so I was told as well and since I gave the spy my code, I believe it."

Sabrina frowned, her excitent dying instantly at the explanation. "How can you say that? What if it’s a prank?" She asked seriously.

"Well, I have a picture of her in my house," Devin confird with a smile but it was still too hard for Sabrina to believe it so she requested,

"Can I see it?"

"No," Devin refused before they both walked to the car with Sabrina frowning all through.

"You are driving too slow," Sabrina observed and uttered by how Devin was driving as if he did not want them to reach the house early. She could not believe that Devin would do this at the ti that she was so much in a hurry.

"That is good. Don’t forget what they say that speed kills," Devin nodded his head and continued to drive slowly, watching his sister almost bursting from anger, which he was sure would soon disappear.

"Not in this situation," Sabrina objected but Devin did not still make a move to increase the speed so she said,

"Devin, if you won’t step harder on the accelerator, then let

drive."

Devin smiled, as amusent showed in his eyes. "When was the last ti you drove a car?" He asked jokingly, Sabrina frowned a little before she responded,

"A day before I got married to Robin but it does not an I have forgotten how to do it."

"Take the wheels then," Devin said to her shock. Sabrina could not believe he was doing this to her. Devin ant to tease her and it was working very well.

"You are letting

drive?" Sabrina asked from awe but Devin only shrugged and replied casually,

"You said I was too slow."

Sabrina bit her lips to gain so calmness before she said, "I haven’t driven for a long ti and I have not renewed my driver’s license too. Fine, just drive."

She endured the snail’s pace at which Devin drove the car, everything in her cursing the brother she loved so much. He surprised her and was now testing her patience. How unthoughtful of him? Sabrina tried to think of exciting things to pass the ti but nothing seed to co to mind at the mont since all she could think about was Matilda.

As soon as they arrived at the penthouse, she alighted from the car and ran towards the house. Unfortunately, the door was locked when she reached the entrance and she had not picked her card. Her nails were digging into her palms due to the anxiety and she wanted Devin to co and open the door quickly.

Graciously, he did not keep her waiting this ti. "Aside from the card, there is also a pin number which happens to be your birthday," Devin said behind her.

Sabrina was biting her lips in agitation to not have known this before. Quickly, she entered the pin and when the door opened, they were both encased in the aroma of delicious grilled chicken and stead rice.

"Who is cooking?" Devin asked, confused upon recalling he had ordered food for the spy to give to Matilda. Not only that, they also heard the sound of music coming from the kitchen. It was not too loud but they could hear it.

The siblings exchanged worried looks before they began to walk together towards the kitchen and with her back turned to them, was a woman with long brunette hair reaching her butts who was dancing and cooking. With such long hair, they could both tell that she had not had a hair cut in a long ti or had any form of makeover.

Tilda used to be a fan of short hair. Sabrina felt moisture on her face as she said, "It’s true, it’s Matilda."
