Chapter 404: Chapter 404 - They look just like the two of you

A few hours later, Sabrina woke up in a different room and imdiately panicked, looking around for her babies.

"Ro..."

"My queen, are you alright?" Robin asked from the left side of the bed where the baby cot was. Sabrina sighed with relief.

"I’m sorry. I was afraid because of you and Jacob’s story but where am I? The flowers are beautiful," Sabrina smiled admiringly at the nicely decorated VIP ward Robin had her moved to while she was sleeping.

He had bought so ti for it to be quickly decorated with the things Sabrina liked best to make it holy and comfortable for her.

"I’m glad you like them and I’m just wondering why you weren’t scared when you gave birth without my being there but rather afraid now that I am here and have seen both babies," Robin asked teasingly. Sabrina’s cheeks reddened with embarrassnt.

She was just happy that Robin was casual about it, not taking it to heart.

"You are right. There are a lot of people here, watching over us." She paused, caressed the cheek of the sleeping babies and panicked. "Why are they still sleeping? They haven’t nursed."

Robin chuckled, understanding his wife’s anxiety as a new mother. "Don’t worry, the nurse fed them because I told them not to disturb your sleep. You can begin nursing when they wake up again."

There were bags under Robin’s eyes and Sabrina could tell that he hadn’t slept. It ward her heart to know that he had been watching out for her and their babies.

"Thank you very much," she said with gratitude. Robin shook his head, rejecting her apology.

"I won’t accept it. They are my children too and you are my wife. Aside from the fact that I do it out of love, it’s also my responsibility."

Sabrina laughed as Robin added, "let

inform grandma that you are awake. She went ho to supervise the chef on what to prepare for you."

Sabrina’s eyes lit up at the ntion of grandma, wishing that the woman would not return to the old villa.

Sabrina was already used to her presence. However, she was also uneasy, seeing that her stomach looked as if she was five months pregnant and accused Robin.

"See? You haven’t spoken about the wedding ever since I recovered. Isn’t it because my stomach is big and I’m no longer attractive? I shouldn’t have signed those papers." A tear dropped from her eyes and before Robin could wipe it, she shoved him away.

"Or you are upset with

and hiding it because of the prank I pulled on you," Sabrina’s expression turned sorrowful, and Robin felt helpless.

He couldn’t imagine what was happening to her this ti, whether it was postpartum depression or anxiety. However, he was more eager to announce their wedding to the world than she even wanted.

"My queen, you know that if you are strong enough to walk down the aisle right now, it won’t take

more than an hour to arrange for our wedding," Robin said.

Sabrina smiled through tears at his kind words. From the look in his eyes, she could tell that it was true.

Besides, she needed to shed so weight for her dream gown to fit, and it had been less than 24 hours since she delivered the twins.

"I’m just waiting for you to get better. Weren’t you the one who said that you wanted to look a certain way in your wedding gown, which is why you didn’t want to get married while pregnant?" Robin leaned closer and asked, his gaze admiringly fixed on hers.

Sabrina was left speechless. She was just trying to test his reaction, but he took it seriously.

However, she still did not reveal that she was joking, as she was eager to have her wedding announced to the world.

The test he passed doubled her love for him, making her desperate to be announced as his wife once again. It wasn’t long before a knock was heard on the door.

"Co in," Robin said, away from the cot so as not to wake the sleeping babies. Sabrina was expecting Matilda or Lizzy, but was surprised by the person wheeling a trolley inside her ward.

"Congratulations, Mrs. Jewel," the chef said as he wheeled a trolley with different kinds of foods, including soups, into the room.

Sabrina was already salivating. After all, pushing out two babies was no joke. "Thank you, Jas," she said with appreciation when grandma entered the ward behind the chef.

Sabrina’s mood soared and her excitent doubled. "Grandma!"

The elderly woman went to hug Sabrina, making it feel as if she was hugging her late mother.

God knows how much Sabrina loves this woman, and the feeling was mutual, as the elderly woman’s love for Sabrina surpassed that of her own grandsons, Robin and Jacob.

"Sabrina, I’m happy to see you awake. Do you feel any pain anywhere?" Grandma asked seriously. Sabrina paused for a mont as if trying to feel her body.

"No, I feel completely fine," Sabrina replied.

Grandma smiled a little and asked her again, "Have you tried walking or peeing?"

"Not yet," Sabrina’s brows furrowed a little, as she guessed that the old woman was up to sothing or hinting at sothing important.

"You should," grandma suggested.

Sabrina got off the bed and walked normally to the washroom without a hint of discomfort.

"Jas, you can go," grandma said to the chef as soon as Sabrina closed the door of the washroom.

The chef obeyed as grandma went to check on the babies. "They look just like the two of you. Have you nad them yet?" she asked. Robin replied,

"Robert and Savannah, but we shall have a big party to announce them to the public. I also have to begin the arrangent for our wedding."

"Please, let her recover properly. Even if she feels okay, her body still needs rest. Please don’t stress her out," Grandma pleaded. "She needs to recover for

to have more grandchildren."

Robin shook his head firmly. "No, two kids are enough. I won’t let my wife go through that pain again." He couldn’t shake the feeling of helplessness he experienced during Sabrina’s labor.

Grandma smiled and reassured him, "Every woman goes through it. The pain is forgotten the mont the child is born." Robin was about to respond when Sabrina erged from the washroom, wearing a deep frown.

"What’s wrong?" Robin asked, concerned.
