Chapter 370: Chapter 370 - Be careful. There’s a jealous husband here
The man bore such a striking resemblance to soone dear to Robin’s heart that he couldn’t shake the feeling. Despite knowing the odds were against his thoughts, Robin couldn’t let it go.
"I need to be absolutely certain of his identity before I can decide what to do. I can’t afford to make any mistakes," he said seriously, his voice barely audible over the music, only Daniel able to hear him.
Since both Martin and Mara would have to undergo surgery, they would look different now. Daniel couldn’t help but be suspicious that this man, whose hair strands Robin had just collected and tucked into his tuxedo pocket, could be Martin.
"Do you think it could be Martin?" Daniel whispered, and Devin interrupted.
"You guys are whispering. Is that guy Martin?" Devin whispered as well, making sure the won couldn’t overhear.
It was easy for them to converse like this, as the won were engrossed in their own conversations.
Robin and Daniel chuckled, and Robin replied, "I don’t know yet. But at least we have sothing for a DNA test."
Devin hadn’t seen what Robin was referring to, as he hadn’t caught a glimpse of the hair strands before Robin neatly folded them into his handkerchief.
"What do you have for a DNA test?" Devin asked, confused. All he saw was Robin following a man, with so security agents trailing behind.
Devin’s view was obstructed by the guests and the loud music, so he couldn’t see or hear much.
"I managed to collect so strands of his hair," Robin revealed, amazing Devin. He couldn’t help but feel even more respect for Robin.
When Robin set his mind on sothing, he never gave up until he achieved it. This determination had served him well in his business endeavors.
"Robin, maybe you should consider a career change from being the president of these groups to becoming the chief security officer for all security companies," Devin teased. Robin laughed and replied,
"Then you can be my assistant."
The three n laughed, unaware that they had caught the attention of the won. Curious about the source of their amusent, Sabrina asked,
"What’s so funny? I hope it’s not about won."
Before Robin could respond, Daniel interjected, saying,
"The only won we see are right in front of us. None of us here have eyes for anyone else."
The won blushed at the complint, and Sabrina rembered the creepy man that Robin had followed. She asked,
"Who is that man? What does he want?"
Robin knew exactly which man she was referring to and quickly replied,
"He didn’t speak, and he had n with him, so I didn’t want to cause any trouble."
Sabrina was concerned that the man might cause problems in the future, especially since she couldn’t rember where she had seen his face before. She asked,
"So, what do we do?"
Robin smiled and reassured her, "We do nothing. But I will find him. You don’t have to worry about anything, okay?"
"Okay. I trust you," Sabrina said, bringing smiles and admiration from Matilda and Lizzy.
Sabrina had been through a lot, and they were happy to see her glowing with happiness, knowing she deserved it.
However, soone was jealous of Robin receiving all the complints and trust from his sister. Devin, with a pitiful expression on his face, asked,
"What about ? Don’t you trust
anymore?"
Sabrina laughed in amusent and replied, "You know you’ll always be my number one."
Robin’s eyes widened, and Daniel instantly noticed the jealousy in his expression. He jokingly warned Sabrina,
"Be careful. There’s a jealous husband here."
Everyone at the table laughed as Robin shook his head and said, "You guys are so silly."
"I think it’s ti to cut the cake," Matilda alerted them when she saw the MC approaching the table.
They had barely touched their food but felt full from all the excitent.
Grandma Cecilia, accompanied by her caretaker, was enjoying the company of Daniel’s mother but would occasionally check on Sabrina.
The elderly woman’s overwhelming love never failed to warm Sabrina’s heart.
As the joyful occasion was coming to an end, Sabrina went to the bathroom two more tis and returned just in ti to catch the tossed bridal bouquet.
It was unexpected, as she had encouraged Lizzy to throw it before she went to the washroom with Laura.
Sohow, Lizzy had delayed the process, but when the crowd went wild for it, she couldn’t help but oblige.
Surprisingly, Sabrina was the one who caught it, the person she wanted to be next to get married.
Lizzy was overjoyed and hugged Sabrina, saying, "Sissy, you should get married again instantly."
Sabrina laughed, pulled away, and gave her a strange look before speaking half-jokingly,
"I see that you don’t love . You look all sexy in the gown you made, and you want
to look like a pig in mine."
Lizzy laughed, and Robin couldn’t help but smile, agreeing with Lizzy’s next words,
"You are the sexiest pregnant woman that ever lived."
It was true because despite Sabrina’s baby bump, her skin glowed, and she looked radiant. It was evident that she was happy with the man she loved.
Daniel was growing impatient due to the distance to their honeymoon venue. "Lizzy, we have to go," Daniel said, already pulling her away.
Sabrina was furious and grabbed Daniel’s arm, bringing him to a standstill. "Daniel, you’re taking her away without allowing us to finish our conversation," she pointed out.
Lizzy was leaving for a week and a few days, yet Daniel wouldn’t spare a few minutes of their ti for Sabrina.
Daniel stared at Sabrina’s red pouted lips, laughed, and replied, "I believe your husband has all the ti in the world to talk to you. Please talk to him."
Robin grinned and whispered seductively in Sabrina’s ear, "He’s right. I’m always here for you, my queen." Sabrina’s cheeks reddened, and excitent filled her chest.
Robin waited until everyone left the party before leaving with Sabrina. It was their most stressful day because he had taken charge of security, and everything went according to plan.
Now, his only focus was to get to the bottom of this mystery man and uncover his identity.
