Chapter 135: Chapter 135 – For Sabrina’s sake

All Robin needed was to know Mara’s exact location but for Sabrina’s safety, it was good to let Mara feel that indeed Sabrina died. It might not take long for the truth to co out but would be worth it in the end.

"So that she would think she has won. Were you able to track the number?" He asked seriously, hoping for sothing positive. Daniel shook his head but determination was listed on his face.

"No. Her calls are encrypted but don’t worry, I will get that hacker," he said with a sly smile. Daniel wanted to get this done before his date on Saturday, so he could focus on Lizzy. Wherever this hacker was hiding, he was determined to find him,

"When will you be working on it?" Robin asked. He needed the information to plan ahead because no matter where this hacker was, Robin wanted to be there as well and did not want anything to stand in his way.

Perhaps Sabrina living in her father’s mansion was not a bad idea since she was well taken care of. It would also allow Robin to move at any ti without restriction or worry. Zayla had her father too, so again, Robin did not see any problem there at all.

He would go to any length to ensure Sabrina’s safety. It was the least he could do after how badly he treated her in the past. This had nothing to do with the fact that she was carrying his child because even if she wasn’t, he would have still done the sa thing.

"As soon as I get ho," Daniel responded before Robin recalled sothing, saying, "That reminds ." He shoved his hand into his pocket and saw Matilda’s hand written note and opened it.

’I received help mysteriously but I know it’s you. I never got the chance to say it and thought I should do so now. Thank you for everything.’

"She almost got

into trouble to just thank ?" Robin frowned and asked no one in particular while shredding the note. What made Matilda think that Robin did it for her? Everything Robin did for Matilda was because of Sabrina.

He did not want her to carry the burden and disappointnt of not being able to help her friend.

"Who is thanking you and for what?" Daniel asked him, ready to leave the small storeroom.

"For clearing her na," Robin said casually but Daniel was confused before it clicked and he affird,

"You are talking about Matilda."

"Yeah, and hey, I need a lot of help," Robin asked again. Daniel smiled and said,

"Anything for you Robin."

"I need a special and secret cara in Sabrina’s office," Robin revealed and Daniel froze instantly.

"That would be an invasion of privacy." It did not seem like he wanted to go against his work ethic since that could land him in big trouble if anything went wrong.

Robin was persistent about the fact that it involved Sabrina’s safety. "It could also be for her good since sobody wants her dead. For whatever reason Mara wants her dead, I will find out but for now, her safety is a great concern for ."

"If you are caught, I didn’t install it," Daniel fore-warned since it involved installing caras in Sabrina’s office without her permission and Robin was ready to take all the bla.

"Don’t worry about that but make sure it’s done before she goes to work on Monday. It has to be done secretly," Robin said seriously.

For as long as the caras were there, he could breathe when Sabrina was in the office, while he continued his search for Mara.

"Leave that to ."

When they went back to the party, the mood was destroyed and Robin began to look for Sabrina. He just wanted to see her once again before bidding her goodbye. When he did not see her around, he dialed her number.

"Robin," Sabrina said when she answered the call. Robin was just thrilled to hear her ntioning his na on the phone.

"Have you eaten?" He asked her. She was quite hungry as the waitress had said and it was all due to her pregnancy.

"Yes, and Matilda kept your food here. You should make your way upstairs to the second room and co and eat."

The call ended as soon as Sabrina said those words but Robin felt like she cared for him sohow, though she said Matilda was the one who kept it for him. Robin lowered the phone from his ear and said to Daniel,

"Let’s go."

When they reached Matilda’s room, Sabrina had finished eating and made way for Robin. Matilda’s room was very big with a queen size bed, and a three-in-one couch.

Matilda was apologetic when she saw Daniel with Robin and said, "Sorry, I didn’t think about you. What would you like to eat?" She asked Daniel who looked at Robin’s food and said,

"Sa thing Robin is eating."

It was pasta and Robin guessed Sabrina must have told Matilda that his favorite food was pasta, which made him glad that she still kept the little details about him.

He waited until Matilda arrived with Daniel’s food before they began to eat together. It was not long before the door opened and Devin entered.

"I have been looking all over for you. Where is the bitch?" Devin demanded from Robin, who stared at him with raised brows.

"I let her go," Robin said casually while eating as if it was not a big deal. Whereas Devin was very upset that Robin let the girl go just like that, feeling that perhaps, Robin was attracted to her since he liked won.

"What? She tried to poison my sister and you let her go? Or are you planning to go a fuck her later?" Daniel hissed, upsetting Robin who felt that he deserved it for Devin to think about him like that. As such, he did not react to Devin’s uncouth words.

If he did not have such a past with won before, Devin would never have suspected that of him. He spoke calmly whiles eating,

"She ate the food so whatever happens to her after is none of my business."

Robin did not plan on telling Devin about Mara since he would not believe it and terd it that way.

Sabrina was disturbed about the whole thing and asked Robin,

"Why did she want to hurt ? Did soone send her? Who?"
