For so many years during the End of Dharma, Cang Erzi had never fought with anyone. He had always conserved his mana, but today, for once, he finally indulged himself and found it hard to hold back.

Upon hearing this, Xuan Yuezi nodded and said, "Very well, I’ll trouble Senior to deal with this Great Demon."

"Thank you, Immortal, for yielding."

Cang Erzi chuckled. He then cast a hand seal, and the Red Jade Trigram Furnace before him imdiately began to buzz. From within the furnace, chains of red-gold light suddenly erged. These chains were not physical entities; they were manifestations of a Dao Artifact’s power, with talismanic light flashing upon them—remarkable and formidable.

These red-gold chains coiled around the Kui Dragon Snake, restraining its struggles to no avail.

Even when the Kui Dragon Snake summoned lightning strikes once more, it failed to cause even the slightest damage.

"Wretched beast, surrender yourself into the furnace!"

Cang Erzi extended a finger, and a ray of azure light transford into a flying sword that shot out abruptly. The sword flickered once in the air and arrived instantly. It was illusory, appearing as if ford from the power of the Primordial Spirit rather than a physical blade.

Before the Kui Dragon Snake could comprehend what had occurred, the ethereal sword pierced through its skull.

The very next mont.

The Kui Dragon Snake let out a pitiful wail, a heart-wrenching howl, as if grievously wounded. Its massive, struggling body instantly seed drained of all strength, going limp before being pulled into the air by the red-gold chains.

At that mont, the Red Jade Trigram Furnace emitted flas of vibrant crimson radiance. The fire traveled down the red-gold chains, igniting the Kui Dragon Snake. The mystical crimson fla worked miraculously—while burning, it caused the enormous beast to shrink rapidly.

At last, the shrunken body was dragged directly into the Red Jade Trigram Furnace by the red-gold chains.

The furnace fire roared, refining and tempering.

Amid the glow of flas, the Kui Dragon Snake gradually dissolved.

Soon, a loud crackling sound of wind and thunder erupted, and a pair of dragon horns materialized, landing in front of Wu the Taoist. Following that, a massive piece of scale armor flew out, heading straight toward Xuan Yuezi.

"Thank you."

The two imdiately bowed in thanks, taking the items to use for repairing their Dao Artifacts.

The remaining essence was in the Red Jade Trigram Furnace, refined into five large treasure pills. The elixirs were like red jade, adorned with dragon patterns and emitting an astonishing fluctuation of spiritual energy.

Cang Erzi took one and tasted it, nodding with satisfaction. "This elixir is excellent. It can restore mana, nourish the body, and strengthen the Primordial Spirit. Taiyi, take these."

With a casual wave of his hand, the remaining four treasure pills flew toward Li Yi.

A mythical creature, the Kui Dragon Snake, was thus completely disassembled and refined. It didn’t stand a chance to resist. If one were to take them across the globe, most of the dire crises in cities would likely be resolved.

Such is the deterrent force of a top-tier master.

Li Yi accepted the four treasure pills, feeling the scorching energy radiating from them, and couldn’t help but marvel inwardly.

Then, he asked, "How long will you three seniors need to recover your strength and realm?"

Cang Erzi replied, "The old Taoist has suffered severe foundational damage. Though my Three Flowers are intact, it will take at least three days of recuperation to restore even seventy percent of my strength. To reach the state of Three Flowers Gathering at the Top and Five Qi Chaoyuan at the Great Perfection Realm will take several months at minimum. However, Taiyi, there’s no need to worry. Seventy percent strength combined with Dao Artifacts should suffice to handle most crises."

"That’s good to hear. Then we’ll wait three days. After three days, I kindly ask the three seniors to accompany to the Golden Academy," Li Yi said.

"Golden Academy? Very well, no problem. Wherever Taiyi goes, we will protect you," Cang Erzi nodded and replied.

Xuan Yuezi and Wu the Taoist also expressed their agreent. After all, their fates were tied together, and they were also concerned about any mishap befalling Li Yi.
