At her feet, the fierce tiger crouched within the city and similarly exhaled a breath of Spiritual Energy, rushing toward Xuan Yuezi’s other life-flower. Nourished by the vast spiritual energy of nature, her life-flower began to gleam and bloom radiantly.
Xuan Yuezi kept her eyes closed, absorbing the Dragon and Tiger Power to recover her strength as quickly as she could.
This was the mont she had awaited for so long. In the Dharma Decline World, there was hardly enough spiritual energy to enable her to fully utilize the Dragon and Tiger Power. Only upon arriving on Earth did she have the opportunity to unleash its true might.
When the dragon and tiger had finally expelled their spiritual energy...
The True Dragon was seen covered in dull gray hues, its body emaciated and withered. Similarly, the fierce tiger was engulfed by pollution, resembling a demonic state. These polluted spiritual energies lingered outside, never penetrating Xuan Yuezi’s body, sparing her from any contamination.
With no further use for them, Xuan Yuezi extended her hand into the void, and the dragon and tiger rapidly shrank, transforming into a Dragon and Tiger Golden Core that landed in her palm. Yet, this core was gray-white in color, more akin to poison than the treasured elixir it was intended to be.
"Spiritual Energy toxin, interesting," she observed.
Xuan Yuezi studied it briefly before storing it away, intending to research the peculiar phenonon of toxic spiritual energy in this world at a later ti.
Still, neither the mana nor life force of a single dragon and tiger could quench her hunger.
Her body had languished for too long. Today, she needed to feast.
Xuan Yuezi invoked her Tao Skill once again. From the skies ca the roars of dragons; from the earth ca the cries of tigers. This ti, nine dragons soared toward the heavens, while ten massive tigers thundered across the ground. Each dragon stretched a thousand zhang in length; each tiger towered to heights of a hundred zhang. Together, the nine dragons and ten tigers gathered, consuming enormous amounts of spiritual energy from nature.
Her entire form beca enshrouded in an overwhelming tide of spiritual energy—her physical body was no longer visible, leaving only a radiant humanoid silhouette emitting unmatched brilliance.
"Dragon-subduing and Tiger-subduing Skill." Li Yi was stunned at the sight.
Witnessing such a display from a Tri-Floral Realm master was utterly terrifying. Yet, he could not determine what level of mastery Xuan Yuezi had achieved with the Dragon-subduing and Tiger-subduing Skill. To summon nine dragons and ten tigers with just a wave of her hand—could she truly withstand so much spiritual energy?
Or perhaps such a demonstration was rely a minor sip, restoring only a portion of her power.
Moreover, after employing the Dragon-subduing and Tiger-subduing Skill, Xuan Yuezi astonishingly achieved dragon-tiger transcendence, refining the purest spiritual energy while isolating the polluted energy in the bodies of the dragons and tigers, subsequently forging them into Dragon and Tiger Golden Cores.
Li Yi knew that the Dragon and Tiger Golden Core was a supre Treasure Pill capable of replenishing both mana and life force at once—a creation achievable only by Tri-Floral Realm cultivation experts well-versed in the Dragon-subduing and Tiger-suppressing technique. Yet, he hadn’t expected Xuan Yuezi to deviate from tradition, producing corrupted Dragon and Tiger Golden Cores instead.
Such adaptability and profound insight into Tao Skill were indeed hallmarks of a seasoned cultivation master.
By comparison, Wu the Taoist seed far more composed, seated cross-legged with his eyes closed as spiritual energy surged toward him, restoring his strength thodically. Soon, five-colored radiance erged before him, emanating from the Five Qi within his chest. Intertwining, the Five Qi ford a large net that enveloped him entirely.
This Five-Colored Net was no re spectacle. Any incoming polluted cosmic energy was effectively blocked outside. Only the purified essence was absorbed into his body.
In re monts, Wu the Taoist adjusted his energy-collecting technique, effortlessly filtering out the contaminated energies, rendering himself protected as if inside a Cultivation Cabin.
"These masters are truly extraordinary," Li Yi secretly marveled.
Indeed, no one in the Tri-Floral Realm could be considered diocre. Those able to reach such heights were all remarkably gifted individuals, destined to excel in any realm they inhabited.
Refusing to idle, Li Yi imdiately took out several Dao Artifacts from his Five Elents Bracelet.
A Purple-Gold Gourd, a Red Jade Trigram Furnace, the Tianyi Palace, and the Yin Yang Creation and Transformation Tripod.
He intended to utilize Earth’s spiritual energy to nurture these Dao Artifacts, urging them to recover to their peak state.
"Taiyi, your artifact restoration is too slow. Let the old Taoist assist you."
At that mont, Cang Erzi noticed Li Yi’s actions. He extended his hand, summoning a downpour from the skies.
The rainwater, imbued with spiritual energy, drenched the Dao Artifacts, causing them to imdiately radiate brilliance once more.
"The Artifact Spirits within the Dao Artifacts have already perished. There’s no risk of spiritual energy contamination—rest assured," Cang Erzi asserted.
"Let assist as well."
Not one to be outdone, Xuan Yuezi ford hand seals, summoning two dragons and two tigers to redirect their spiritual energy toward the Dao Artifacts, amplifying the restoration process.
Under the nourishnt of these two imnse streams of spiritual energy, the divine nature of the Dao Artifacts gradually revealed itself.
The Purple-Gold Gourd beca enveloped in swirling mist, dramatically increasing in size as its engraved runes lit up, transforming it into the size of a high-rise building. Its opening autonomously expanded, inhaling and exhaling spiritual energy like a living entity.
The Red Jade Trigram Furnace soared into the air, spinning rapidly as Red Cloud Light illuminated the skies. The city appeared to bask under a fiery sunrise, while within the furnace, an extinguished fla suddenly reignited with a booming sound. This Creation Fire incinerated all things, capable of slting any artifact.
The Tianyi Palace, however, remained unremarkable in appearance, simply floating midair and absorbing spiritual energy without showing signs of satisfaction. Yet, with ti, the Tianyi Palace grew increasingly crystalline, emitting a shimring lustrous glow.
Most extraordinary was the Yin Yang Creation and Transformation Tripod.
A cherished heirloom of the Heavenly Dharma Sect.
Its internal Creation Fire, which had been on the verge of extinction, erupted into roaring flas upon contact with spiritual energy. This peculiar fire burned in black-and-white hues, interweaving seamlessly, while its collisions emitted waves of chaos energy that dispersed outward.
Soon, the chaos energy was absorbed back into the Yin Yang Creation and Transformation Tripod, enveloping it in a mysterious radiance.
"What is that?"
Suddenly, Li Yi spotted an indistinct figure—an old Taoist seated deep within the black-and-white flas and the chaos energy, seemingly engaged in breathing ditation.
"Taiyi, worry not—what you see is rely the Artifact Spirit of the Yin Yang Creation and Transformation Tripod. Dao Artifacts can bear spirits, and the most exquisite Artifact Spirits can even materialize into forms and possess spiritual wisdom."
Wu the Taoist opened his eyes, explaining calmly. His sparse hair had regrown, his skin had smoothed, and his complexion radiated the vibrant flush of youth, resembling a middle-aged man without any signs of decrepitude.
"It’s truly remarkable that the Heavenly Dharma Sect’s treasured Dao Artifact still harbors a living Artifact Spirit. To think that the Heavenly Dao Map of our Heavenly Dao Sect lost its spirit long ago and now requires nurturing anew."
Xuan Yuezi appeared astonished, yet she summoned an ancient-looking page in her hand. Its surface bore intertwining Dao Traces, containing a Grotto Heaven that defied perception.
Evidently, upon regaining so strength, Xuan Yuezi had begun nurturing the Heavenly Dao Map—a Dao Artifact originally belonging to Divine Lady Yun. During the cross-world expedition, Yun Feizi entrusted Xuan Yuezi with the artifact, hoping she could restore it to its forr glory.
Wu the Taoist also conjured a Dao Artifact before him.
It was the Heaven and Earth Furnace.
A legacy Dao Artifact of the Daoqi Sect.
Previously entrusted to Tu Daoist, who asked Wu the Taoist to recover it, Wu successfully retrieved the furnace. He then carried it to Earth under Tu Daoist’s directive to utilize nature’s spiritual energy for its restoration.
Contrastingly, Cang Erzi lacked possessions, appearing slightly destitute.
Seeing this, Li Yi decided to gift the Red Jade Trigram Furnace to Cang Erzi. "Predecessor, I have too many Dao Artifacts to nurture. Please care for this one."
Cang Erzi was montarily surprised but soon understood Li Yi’s intent—a gesture aid at providing him with a Middle Grade Dao Artifact as a safeguard.
"Thank you, Taiyi. This Red Jade Trigram Furnace is capable of alchemy. Once my strength is restored, I will collect Great dicine in this realm to craft Treasure Pills for you."
He did not refuse.
The lives of the group were now bound together, and mutual assistance was the most reasonable course of action.
Li Yi showed no hesitation in parting with the Dao Artifact. With his abundance of artifacts, he simply couldn’t use them all at once.
