"Li Yi, wait a mont," Lin Yue imdiately turned her head and looked towards the direction of the humanoid silhouette she had sensed.
This glance made Lin Yue’s pupils contract sharply, revealing a horrified expression on the face of a cultivator who had initiated inspiration.

The room was bright and tidy, with two dical pods neatly placed on the floor.
Within the dical pod, a man and a woman lay.
These were Li Yi’s parents.
Lin Yue watched the changing expressions on the faces of the two elders in the dical pods and realized that Li Yi’s parents had never awakened from the beginning. They couldn’t have suddenly left the room and appeared in her perception earlier.
If it wasn’t Li Yi’s parents, then who was the person she had sensed?
After realizing this, Lin Yue’s unease grew stronger.
"Li Yi, are you usually alone at ho?" she abruptly withdrew her gaze and turned towards Li Yi.
In a Spirit dium’s vision, everything in Li Yi’s house appeared normal. Lin Yue couldn’t detect anything unusual.

She was confused now. She had seen with her own eyes that Li Yi’s mother was lying in the pod, asleep. But why, why was there no one in the pod according to her perception?
Should she trust her eyes, or her spiritual perception?
Just as she was contemplating this.
Suddenly.
The unknown humanoid silhouette appeared again in her inspiration.
It was in the direction of the door.
The previously immobile humanoid silhouette was now slowly moving towards her room.
And the closer it got, the more fear Lin Yue felt.
Because her spiritual perception felt constricted, unable to spread further, and her consciousness was locked by that terrifying human silhouette. She suddenly couldn’t awaken from the ditation.
Moreover, the entity had entered the room and was getting ever closer.
The silhouette passed next to Li Yi in her perception.
Their energy fields intersected.
However, Li Yi seed unaware and showed no reaction.
"Is it coming for ?" Lin Yue broke out in a cold sweat, struggling intensely, trying to break free from so control and wake up from the ditation.
But it was to no avail.
Her body had lost sensation, and it seed her consciousness had been captured.
"Is it going to kill ?" Lin Yue thought frantically.
But at that mont, suddenly, she heard Li Yi’s voice next to her ear, "Sister Lin, Sister Lin, wake up..."
This voice seed to stop the dreadful humanoid silhouette.
Simultaneously, the lock on her consciousness was lifted.
Suddenly.
Lin Yue awoke from her ditation, like a person gasping for air after nearly drowning, her eyes wide open, breathing heavily, her entire body drenched with sweat.
"Li Yi, hurry, we need to leave this place,"
Having regained clarity, Lin Yue still hadn’t cald her nerves. She seized Li Yi’s arm and imdiately pulled him toward the door.
"Wait, Sister Lin, wait, what’s going on..."
The puzzled Li Yi was dragged out of the house by Lin Yue.
And even after they left the house, Lin Yue didn’t let go. She kept pulling Li Yi down the stairs, out of the residential area, until they had crossed two or three streets and finally stopped at a busy intersection.
