Li Yi and Qin Bing looked at the pale dead head in the water, continually researching it. Their fear of the fierce ghost was not as deep as the people of this world; although they knew it was dangerous, if they could find so trick, it might increase their survival rate in the subsequent ssenger tasks.
"It’s strange, it saw us, and right in front of us, but it didn’t attack us." Qin Bing paused, realizing he had not been attacked.
At that mont, Li Yi’s gaze flickered as he imdiately recalled the three phrases Zheng Yaoyao had told him, the last of which was about discerning the ghost’s patterns.
It now appeared that ghosts didn’t kill people on sight but followed a certain pattern.
Although the ghosts in this world were terrifying, they weren’t like the Yin Gods or ghosts of the Four Seas and Eight Continents, who killed randomly. Instead, they were subject to certain restrictions. If they could find the reason for the limitation on the ghost’s killing, the probability of surviving would increase significantly, and this was probably what was referred to as the ’pattern.’

Yet, that head still stared at Li Yi, still making no move to act.
"It still doesn’t act against us?" Qin Bing, smoking a cigarette, said, "It looks like your analysis is correct. The ghosts in this world have certain limitations on themselves. Now I see why the first thing to do after a supernatural event occurs in a location is to seal it off. As long as there are no people around, the ghosts stay calm."
"But this is only a preliminary analysis; perhaps this conclusion only applies to the few ghosts we have encountered and not to the others," Li Yi said as he threw a few more cobblestones.
Under his powerful Jin Qi, that pale dead head was quickly smashed to pieces.
But a strange thing happened.
As the head sank into the water, it imdiately returned to its previous state. The wounds Li Yi had inflicted disappeared without a trace, and those pale eyes seed to carry a bit more resentnt toward Li Yi.
"Indeed, it can’t be killed. Even if the body is destroyed, so force imdiately restores it. Is this the terror of supernatural power? Such a level of power really shouldn’t exist in this world," Qin Bing remarked.

"So, is this letter intended for a dead person? But with so many people having disappeared in the gym, finding Wang Fei is not going to be easy. Moreover, a fierce ghost likely exists near the dead, which makes this seem less like a ssenger task and more like a suicide mission," Li Yi frowned and said.

Seeing no objections from the others, Li Yi imdiately sprang into action.
The seven of them arrived at a public restroom in the gym at top speed. The restroom was not very large but emitted a rotten stench of decay. Tao Yuan and Zhang Jing, who had passed by before, had not dared to enter for fear of unexpected dangers.
But now, in order to locate Wang Fei, they had to take the risk.
"Follow ," Li Yi glanced at Guo You and another ssenger, then led the way with Qin Bing towards the restroom.
They first entered the n’s restroom.
"Open all the doors, look for Wang Fei’s body," Li Yi instructed.

The restroom was the least dangerous place. If anything went wrong, he could retreat imdiately. If Wang Fei was not here, she was most likely in the swimming pool or the dormitory building. Both places were larger, not only making it troubleso to search but also increasing the likelihood of encountering danger.
After a mont, Li Yi and the others left the restroom. He shook his head, having found nothing.
"Since that’s the case, let’s head to the swimming pool," said Tao Yuan.
The group returned to their original location.
Just standing in front of the swimming pool’s main entrance, the stench of decaying bodies hit them, making them want to vomit.
"This ti, Zhang Jing and I will investigate inside. Li Yi, you guys wait outside," Tao Yuan took a deep breath, ignoring the foul odor, and led Zhang Jing and another ssenger into the swimming pool.
