"Lv Jue, do a favor. I have two dical pods at ho, and this ti I’ve decided to move out and leave this place. Help lift the dical pods," Li Yi suddenly said.
He had made up his mind to leave this place.
If he didn’t leave soon, Li Yi worried he might get involved as well.
"Sure, it’s a small matter, no problem," Lv Jue said. Although he was only at the Spirit dium Realm level, moving a dical pod was not a problem for him.
The two n got out of the car and headed straight into the residential complex.
However, as soon as he entered the complex, Li Yi’s steps suddenly halted.
A strange sensation arose, causing his pupils to dilate, and he looked directly at a window of a nearby residential building.
The window was pitch black, with no light and nothing out of the ordinary.
"Li Yi, what’s wrong?" Lv Jue’s heart skipped a beat at Li Yi’s unusual reaction, fearing they might encounter sothing right then.
"It seems like sothing is watching . Sothing felt off the mont I entered this complex... Never mind, let’s move and get out of here," Li Yi withdrew his gaze and then quickly walked towards his apartnt building.
The dim, narrow corridor felt oppressive.
The air was filled with a damp, moldy sll, and accompanying this odor was a faint putrid scent, as if soone in one of the apartnts had a dead cat or dog. The sll was unbearable.
Having lived in this complex for so many years, Li Yi realized for the first ti that it was no longer suitable to stay here.
He arrived on the third floor.
The damaged, patched-up door appeared in front of him.
He knocked on the door, but no one responded; it was quiet inside.
"Maybe your relatives aren’t ho today," Lv Jue said.
Li Yi nodded and took out his keys to open the door.
The interior was fairly clean, clearly looked after, and he imdiately headed to the room where the dical pods were kept.
Entering the bedroom.
Two old models of dical pods appeared before Li Yi. The pods were operating well, with the nutrient solutions in them freshly replenished. It seed that everything at ho was normal during his absence, with no unexpected incidents.
"Li Yi, why is there a spear in your living room?"
Suddenly, Lv Jue in the living room noticed a bronze spear floating in midair; it seed incredulous and marvelous to him.
"This is a strange weapon I brought from Ghost Street. I keep it at ho to ward off evil spirits, but ordinary people can’t see it. Only Cultivators who have opened their Spirit dium powers can see it, unfortunately, it’s not a Mysterious Object," Li Yi, seeing that his parents in the dical pods were safe and sound, casually ntioned when he returned to the living room.
"A strange weapon from Ghost Street? That’s quite extraordinary. I know about that Ghost Street too; many Cultivators have wandered into it, but they all died and no one ca back. It’s said that so have seen ghost soldiers wandering on Ghost Street with weapons similar to this one," Lv Jue remarked with emotion.
Li Yi said, "Now’s not the ti to worry about that. Help move the dical pods to the truck first. I’ll sort out so other things."
"Okay," Lv Jue withdrew his gaze, imdiately went into the bedroom, and together with Li Yi, they carefully lifted one of the dical pods out.
Although the dical pod was heavy, it posed no problem for two Cultivators.
In no ti at all.
The dical pod belonging to Li Yi’s father was safely placed on the pickup truck parked at the entrance.
The two n then lifted the second dical pod out.
This one belonged to Li Yi’s mother.
"Li Yi, your mom..." Just as they walked out of the residential building, Lv Jue glanced at the woman in the dical pod and suddenly spoke.
"What about my mom?"
However, at this mont, Li Yi’s expression seed sowhat off, slightly crazed. His pupils turned dark, and a terrifying murderous intent erupted as if he would not hesitate to kill Lv Jue if he dared to say anything negative.
"No, nothing..."
Lv Jue’s hair stood on end, sensing Li Yi’s abnormality and quickly said, "I just noticed your mom seems much younger than your dad. She seems to have not aged a bit even after so many years in the dical pod."

"Very normal, very normal. It was just overthinking," Lv Jue’s forehead was covered in cold sweat, feeling that he should never bring up Li Yi’s mother in front of him ever again, or it could be dangerous.
"Right, let’s continue moving things."
Li Yi’s tone gradually fluctuated slightly, and his darkened pupils slowly returned to normal.
"You wait in the truck for , I’ll sort out so things and then we can leave,"
After placing the second dical pod on the truck, Li Yi greeted him and then returned to the house.
Seeing Li Yi leave, Lv Jue on the truck finally let out a slight breath, wondering if he had gone to a dangerous area recently and was too tense? Why did it seem like Li Yi had suddenly changed personalities, becoming a different person altogether?

Lv Jue was startled and quickly stuck his head out to look behind the truck.
However, there was nothing outside the truck.
When he looked at the rearview mirror again, he found that the woman had disappeared.
"A hallucination? Or am I just too nervous and saw it wrong?" Lv Jue’s heart raced, feeling a bit eerie but unable to pinpoint why.
