The Ghost ssenger opened its mouth to speak, staring at Li Yi with a pair of hollow eye sockets, already treating him as an enemy, behind it stood ten officials wielding black Water and Fire Sticks, each with a deadly pale face and expressionless, striding forward, their bodies shifting indeterminately as if they were a cold breeze passing by.

"You’re different from other ghosts, possessing your own consciousness? What did you an just now, ’ghosts collecting life span’? Does this an that all the life spans you ghosts collect from the living are handed over to the ghosts behind you? What kind of evil ghost would monthly scavenge the life span of a city’s population for its own use?" Li Yi squinted his eyes, unafraid of the Ghost ssenger.

With a Sword Coin in hand and the enhancent of the Guiding Skill, he might well be able to fight these ghosts.

"Kill this ignorant mortal." The Ghost ssenger did not answer Li Yi’s question but instead issued a hoarse command to kill with its raspy voice.

The mont after, those ten officials wielding Water and Fire Sticks imdiately lunged forward, their ghastly faces twisted into ferocity, their hollow eye sockets intently fixed on Li Yi, deeming him an enemy, and then, wielding their Water and Fire Sticks, they ferociously struck at Li Yi.

"You evil spirits, abetting tyranny, stealing the living’s life span, deserve to die." Li Yi shouted, his feet surging with Jin Qi, and his large and robust body instantly charged toward the nearest official.

He dodged the unstable Water and Fire Sticks, and with a fist radiating dazzling light, he smashed directly onto the head of that Ghost Official.

In an instant.

The Ghost Official’s head was imdiately smashed to pieces, turning him into a headless ghost, which after twitching a few tis, fell to the ground, and his body swiftly disintegrated, turning into a stream of black Yin energy that rged into the surroundings, completely dead.

One punch had killed a ghost.

This unprecedented scene caused the remaining officials to pause for a mont, slling danger on Li Yi, they all hesitated for a while and did not dare to advance.

The lead Ghost ssenger, now with a ghastly pale face, showed a trace of shock: "You, you can actually fight ghosts?"

"Could it be that you’ve killed so many that you’ve mistaken for an easy target? Spare the talk, today I’ll eliminate all of you ghostly beings to prevent further tyranny." Li Yi shouted loudly and then bypassed these officials, charging toward the Ghost ssenger.

The Ghost ssenger, with a dark and grim face, upon seeing Li Yi dare to confront him, was filled with fury. He drew out the Ghost Head Big Saber from his waist, and suddenly, a cold wind howled, and the surrounding temperature seed to drop. He then swung the ethereal big saber imdiately at Li Yi.

At that mont, Li Yi’s inspiration alerted him.

The Ghost ssenger’s Ghost Head Big Saber seed to pose a great threat to him; if hit, he might suffer a severe injury, different from physical harm, likely similar to his master Zhao Ge, who had his Divine Soul damaged.

Thanks to his quick reflexes, coupled with his glowing vertical pupils that locked onto the Ghost ssenger, Li Yi narrowly avoided the Ghost Head Big Saber, then seizing the right mont, he launched a punch.

The Ghost ssenger also seed to realize Li Yi’s punch was formidable, frighteningly quick to withdraw the saber, then his form drifted, and suddenly he flew into midair, dodging Li Yi’s attack.

"All together now, kill this living person."

Knowing he couldn’t overco Li Yi alone, the Ghost ssenger, unwilling to risk himself, continued to command the officials under him to attack.

These officials, though sowhat sentient, did not seem highly supernatural. Although very fearful of Li Yi, under the command of the Ghost ssenger, they couldn’t disobey and imdiately, bearing ghastly faces, they raised their Water and Fire Sticks and pounced toward Li Yi.

Li Yi had no choice but to deal with these officials first. He cautiously dodged the attack of the Water and Fire Sticks and then, swinging his fists and relying on the powerful energy field brought by the Sword Coin and the Guiding Skill, he brutally killed several Ghost Officials who, upon death, dissipated into Yin energy in the atmosphere, leaving behind only a black Water and Fire Stick.

With several officials continuously dying, the watching Ghost ssenger was both shocked and furious, desperate to swing the Ghost Head Big Saber to end Li Yi’s life but also afraid that Li Yi’s punch might kill him too, so he shrank back, not daring to make a move.

Li Yi had been watching this Ghost ssenger for a long ti; he knew that seeing him as formidable might deter him from attacking, so the only option was to try to lure him in.

Hopefully, this thod would work.

Imdiately, Li Yi sold a flaw, intentionally letting a Ghost Official’s Water and Fire Stick hit his arm.

A sudden chilly numbness and inexplicable pain surged to his heart; he felt the Qi-Blood in his entire arm couldn’t circulate, his ridians seed blocked, giving a sense of limp weakness, making him want to sit down and rest properly.

"Is this what it feels like to be injured by a ghost?" Li Yi’s expression changed slightly, but then he staggered backward, pretending to be overwheld.

Seeing this, the Ghost ssenger, who had been watching from mid-air, imdiately grew joyful, brandishing the Ghost Head Big Saber, he charged at Li Yi, swinging the saber down with extre speed as if aiming to take advantage of Li Yi’s injury to finish his life.

But Li Yi was not truly overwheld by the officials; he was just pretending, waiting for this very opportunity.
