Chapter 1391: Chapter 1389: Car Accident
Liu Biyun was quite aweso. Within five minutes of receiving Wang Dadong’s text ssage, she appeared in the Sketching Studio.
"Well then, Teacher ii, I’ll get going now. Your class was very engaging, and I’ll definitely co frequently," Wang Dadong waved goodbye to Du ii and quickly left the Sketching Studio.
"Beautiful Principal, I have no way to repay your life-saving grace..."
"Then offer yourself to ," Before Wang Dadong could finish his sentence, Liu Biyun pulled him into her office and locked the door.
...
Half an hour later, Wang Dadong reluctantly erged from the beautiful principal’s office.
He initially wanted to spend more ti in Liu Biyun’s office, but then received a call from the Female CEO, saying her car needed its year-end inspection today, and asked him to handle it.
"Shall I drive you?" Liu Biyun said while wiping her pretty little mouth with a tissue.
"No need, I’m driving," Wang Dadong shook his head. The principal had put in a lot of effort just now, so he decided to let her rest.
Wang Dadong first drove the Cadillac to the Jinding Building, left the keys at the reception, and then took a cab to the Eastern County Villa.
"Sister Lin, you could have told
earlier that it needed an inspection today, so I wouldn’t have to make an extra trip," Wang Dadong slowly drove the Lamborghini out of the garage.
What he didn’t know was that it was Lin Shir who ratted him out, accusing him of hanging out with the beautiful principal again.
Liu Biyun was exceptionally attractive, and to err on the side of caution, Lin Shiyan intentionally asked Wang Dadong to help inspect her car.
Otherwise, Wang Dadong could have had another round of fun with Liu Biyun.
Wang Dadong drove straight to the vehicle inspection station.
Normally, you can’t cross-use inspection privileges, but what kind of car was Wang Dadong driving?
It was a luxury car, and it belonged to the first beautiful female CEO of Jiangdu City, so how could the inspection station not give it special attention?
They gave him the green light and inspected the car for him first.
Still, he had to wait for a couple of hours.
Feeling a bit hungry, Wang Dadong noticed a vendor selling buns not far from the inspection station and walked over to buy a few to tide him over.
"Boss, how much for the buns?"
"Five yuan for ten," The vendor was a dark-skinned middle-aged man wearing a straw hat, looking simple and honest.
Though it wasn’t very hot anymore, under direct sunlight, it was still quite warm.
"Give
ten, no need for change," Wang Dadong handed over ten yuan, feeling it wasn’t easy to be selling buns in such heat.
But the vendor insisted on giving him five yuan back.
With nothing else to do, Wang Dadong struck up a conversation with the vendor.
They didn’t talk about anything special, just so small talk, and discovered this "uncle" looking middle-aged man was only twenty-nine, not much older than him.
In his twenties, but looking like thirty or forty, likely due to the hardships he’d endured.
"I’m not educated, used to work on construction sites, but my wife thought it was unsafe, so I switched to selling buns. The earnings are decent, enough for us to send the kids to school."
Despite life’s hardships, the vendor’s words conveyed a certain satisfaction with life.
Wang Dadong shook his head with a smile, finished his buns, and went back to the inspection station, as it was too hot outside, and at least the inspection station had air conditioning.
After chilling in the air-conditioned station for a few hours, a staff mber inford Wang Dadong that his car inspection was complete. He paid, and drove out of the inspection station gate.
Just as he exited the gate, he saw the "uncle" bun vendor, with his tricycle parked outside the inspection station, looking towards it.
The sun was quite fierce, and the vendor’s dark skin was already covered in sweat.
Previously, at the bun stall, there was tree shade providing so relief from the heat, unlike by the gate.
"Boss, what are you looking for?" Wang Dadong rolled down the car window and greeted him.
"Hey, brother, you’re finally out. You dropped your money!" The bun vendor smiled honestly and handed over a bundle of cash.
Seeing the stack of red bills, Wang Dadong’s expression changed slightly, "Boss, you’ve been waiting for
all this ti just to return my money?"
"Exactly, I’ve been waiting three hours for you. If you didn’t co out soon, I’d have to leave; my wife and kids are waiting for
at ho," The vendor wiped his sweaty face with an honest grin.
Moved, Wang Dadong said, "Uncle, you don’t have to return this money, just take it to buy so toys for your kids."
The two thousand yuan was actually money Wang Dadong had intentionally left behind, intending to help the honest bun vendor improve his life. Who knew he’d wait for hours in the hot sun just to return the money?
"No need, brother. I can earn quite a bit selling buns. Look, I’ve already bought toys for my kids," The vendor happily pointed to a foot-high plastic robot in the tricycle.
Such toys, Wang Dadong had seen in his childhood, costing a few yuan each, just plastic models that couldn’t move or make sounds.
Kids in the city nowadays don’t typically play with such toys.
Seeing the vendor’s honest smile, Wang Dadong suddenly felt his act was an insult to the vendor.
Although the bun vendor’s status was humble, and he couldn’t make much money, he was self-reliant and led a simple, happy life.
"Young man, be more careful next ti. If you drop your money, others might not return it," The vendor mounted his electric tricycle.
Wang Dadong smiled and replied, "Okay."
Watching the bun vendor leave, Wang Dadong shook his head and started the car.
Not far down the road, he found it was blocked.
It turned out there was a traffic accident.
A tricycle and a car had a minor collision.
From the positions of the vehicles, it seed the car ca from behind and grazed the tricycle.
But it was the tricycle owner who was apologizing.
Being it was a car after all.
"I’m sorry, big brother, I didn’t do it on purpose. Your car suddenly ca from behind, and I didn’t see it..." The tricycle owner kept apologizing with hands clasped in a respectful gesture.
"Are you blind? My car ca over, and you didn’t move?" The car owner cursed at the tricycle owner.
"Really sorry, big brother..."
"Sorry? Sorry doesn’t cut it. Look, it’s dented in a big way, pay up. If you don’t cough up ten thousand today, you’re not leaving!" The car owner arrogantly demanded.
Even though his car scraped the tricycle from behind, he insisted on making the tricycle owner pay.
"I, I just sell buns, I don’t have that much money... and you hit ..." The tricycle owner, despite being in the right, spoke humbly.
