Chapter 1271: Chapter 1269: I Didn’t Scare You, Did I?
Jinding Building, President’s Office of Xueyun Group.
Qin Xue sat cross-legged on the sofa, her beautiful eyes slightly closed, as if she was resting her mind.
She was not resting but cultivating Fighting Spirit.
When she opened her eyes, two sharp beams shot from her eyes straight at the office door.
Qin Xue sensed sothing was amiss, but she couldn’t retract the overflowing Fighting Spirit.
At that mont, the door of the office happened to open, and a small white hand waved in the air, dissipating the Fighting Spirit from Qin Xue’s eyes.
Seeing the newcor, Qin Xue exhaled softly.
Luckily, it was Mu Ming who ca; if it had been soone else, there would have been trouble.
It seems she should avoid advancing in the office in the future—too risky to expose herself.
Mu Ming’s gaze fell on Qin Xue, a faint smile on his face, and he softly said, "Congratulations, Xue, for breaking through to Junior Battle King."
Qin Xue sighed and shook her head, "Still too slow, if I want to control my destiny, I must beco as strong as you."
She didn’t know Mu Ming’s exact strength, but she was sure Mu Ming was at least Peak Fighting Emperor.
Junior Battle King corresponds to Superhuman Realm Beginner Level, while Battle Emperor corresponds to Saint.
To reach Mu Ming’s level, Becoming a Saint is the minimum requirent.
The gap between Superhuman Realm Beginner Level and Saint Realm is as vast as the sky and the earth.
In a short ti, one could beco a Saint in ten years, while so might never achieve it in a lifeti.
But Qin Xue could not even wait ten years.
"Reaching this level in six months is already quite impressive." Mu Ming was quite satisfied with Qin Xue’s achievents.
Qin Xue nodded, "Hmm, I will continue to work hard, aiming to beco a Battle Emperor before then, otherwise, all the great costs I’ve paid to learn Fighting Spirit would be wasted..."
"I believe you can do it." Mu Ming laughed softly.
Just then, Qin Xue’s phone rang.
Qin Xue instinctively picked up the phone, and upon seeing the number displayed, she froze.
It was as if the phone number on the screen was a petrifying spell, leaving Qin Xue motionless as the ringtone played over and over.
"What’s wrong?" Mu Ming asked, frowning slightly.
Mu Ming’s voice seed to awaken Qin Xue, and she pressed the answer key, saying expressionlessly, "Hello."
"My queen, my people have arrived in Huaxia, and I will soon follow. When I co, I’ll bring you a super gift." A sowhat sinister voice ca from the phone.
...
Wang Dadong turned around, only to see that three n had appeared behind him at so unknown ti.
Among the three n, Wang Dadong recognized one, the middle-aged man who had previously used a cigarette butt to burn Li Wan at her villa.
The other two wore black suits and sunglasses, looking like typical bodyguards.
Seeing those three, Li Wan’s body trembled violently, panic written all over her eyes.
"Li Wan, it seems you’ve forgotten what I told you." The middle-aged man said, squinting his eyes.
"Please, please let him go. He knows nothing. I haven’t told him anything, really. I beg you..." Li Wan pleaded desperately.
"I believe you haven’t said anything, but just to be sure..." The middle-aged man’s face turned cold.
"No, please don’t. You can do anything to , just don’t harm him..." Li Wan cried, tears rolling down her face again.
She deeply regretted her decisions; she should have quietly died alone without dragging Wang Dadong into this, endangering herself and her nephew-in-law.
Looking back at the sobbing Li Wan, Wang Dadong’s expression softened, and he gently wiped her tears, speaking softly, "Auntie, could you please close your eyes?"
"I’m sorry, Dadong, it’s my fault..." Li Wan sobbed as she closed her eyes.
She had witnessed the cruelty of these people and didn’t dare to look at what would happen next.
As soon as Li Wan closed her eyes, Wang Dadong’s body vanished.
When Wang Dadong reappeared, he was already standing in front of the middle-aged man.
Soon after, the middle-aged man found himself lifted off the ground, struggling to breathe.
"Were you the one who ca to my Aunt’s villa earlier?" Wang Dadong asked coldly.
"No, it wasn’t !" The middle-aged man answered with difficulty, feeling as if his throat was about to be crushed.
"Then you don’t have to die."
Upon hearing Wang Dadong’s words, the middle-aged man secretly breathed a sigh of relief. The other could end his life with a re flick of a finger.
However, before he could celebrate, a monotone voice rang out, "Capital punishnt is avoidable, but you can’t escape punishnt. You hard my aunt, so your two hands will have to go."
Two crisp *crack* *crack* sounds followed.
The man’s hands were forcefully broken by Wang Dadong, eliciting a scream akin to slaughtered pigs.
Wang Dadong then looked at the two bodyguards, who were already scared out of their wits. Although they were bodyguards, they had never seen soone as terrifying as Wang Dadong—extrely fast and ruthlessly rciless.
"Did you harm my aunt?" Wang Dadong’s gaze coldly swept over the two.
Both of them swallowed nervously.
Undoubtedly, they had hard Li Wan before; whenever the middle-aged man was having fun, he would often let them join in.
Initially, they found using cigarette butts on people quite brutal, but they eventually began to enjoy it and secretly hoped for more chances.
"I already have my answer." Wang Dadong’s lips curled into an evil smile.
A series of snapping sounds ensued.
The hands of both bodyguards were also twisted and broken by Wang Dadong.
Li Wan instinctively opened her eyes, and saw that the three n all looked at Wang Dadong with fear in their eyes, their hands all broken, especially the middle-aged man whose bones were exposed gruesoly.
The scene was terrifying and grueso.
"Kid, do you know who you’re ssing with? Once you realize, you’ll regret it!" The middle-aged man, sweating from the pain, glared maliciously at Wang Dadong.
Wang Dadong sneered disdainfully, "Do you know who you’re dealing with? Once you find out, you’ll regret it too. Go back and tell the one who bullied my aunt that I’ll soon co for his life."
Wang Dadong’s voice was soft yet carried an irrefutable aura.
"Let’s go!" The three n gave Wang Dadong one last venomous glare before fleeing hastily.
After dealing with everything, Wang Dadong turned back to Li Wan, his gaze gentle, and said, "Auntie, I told you to keep your eyes closed. I hope I didn’t frighten you?"
